Supporter of Brutal Socialist Dictatorship to Campaign for Bernie Sanders

The Sanders campaign should have an axillary group, "Non-Marxists for Bernie". It'll be really small and cozy.

Meanwhile, here's a fanboy of Hugo Chavez's brutal socialist tyranny coming out to campaign for Bernie.

Actor Danny Glover will be in Jackson Sunday to campaign for Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders.

Sanders had been scheduled to hold a campaign event in Mississippi Friday, but the Vermont senator cancelled his visit to campaign instead in Michigan. Both states have primary elections Tuesday.

Glover is also expected to visit several Jackson churches on Sunday morning on Sanders' behalf, along with Jackson Mayor Chokwe Antar Lumumba.

Glover is as big a fan of Bernie Sanders as he is of Hugo Chavez. Here's some more "European Democratic Socialism".

Actor Danny Glover met with Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro on Thursday afternoon at the Miraflores Palace in Caracas, to give a speech defending the administration and honor the late Hugo Chavez in the first anniversary of his death.

"As we commemorate and celebrate a true man of the people, Hugo Chavez, his memory lives with us through the work you do as citizens of this great nation, as you continue to realize his vision of a participatory democracy, one involving all citizens," said Glover

"It is a task that is very difficult, with many challenges, but he knows that you will continue the fight he gave his last breath for -- a free, democratic, and self-determined Venezuela; a Venezuela that won't allow its sovereignty to be undermined; a Venezuela that will also provide leadership in the region and the world; a Venezuela that will reimagine its relationships from nation to nation; a Venezuela that will stand up for piece and justice," said Glover.

"We all embraced Hugo Chavez as a social champion of democracy, material development, and spiritual well-being," added Glover, star of the "Lethal Weapon" movies and a long-time supporter of Chavez and liberal causes.

Involving its citizens in...

1. Fleeing the country

2. Hunting through the trash for food

3. Protesting and being murdered by the regime

But Danny Glover has put his money where his mouth is. Sorry, that's not quite right. He put his mouth where his money is.

In 2007, Venezuela’s socialist regime allotted Glover $17.8 million to make a movie about a slave revolt in Haiti. In 2008, the country, which was sliding toward serious economic problems, reportedly allotted another $9 million. The movie was never made, but the actor has gone on defending a regime that offered him millions before starving its own people to death and shooting them in the street.

This is Bernie's democratic socialism.
