"$6 Per Vote" and "I'm With Biden" Dem Arrested for Election Fraud
This was one of Project Veritas' bigger 'gets' last year and it flew under the radar. But it cast light on how the Democrat political machine works.
And now it led to an arrest.
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton today announced the arrest of Rachel Rodriguez for election fraud, illegal voting, unlawfully assisting people voting by mail, and unlawfully possessing an official ballot. Each charge constitutes a felony under the Texas Election Code.
Rodriguez was exposed in a Project Veritas video last fall while she engaged in vote harvesting leading up to the 2020 election. The Election Fraud Division of the Office of the Attorney General reviewed dozens of hours of unedited, raw footage, which led to this arrest.
In an uncharacteristic moment of honesty, Rodriguez acknowledged on video that what she was doing is illegal and that she could go to jail for it. If convicted, Rodriguez could face up to 20 years in prison.
The stuff on the Project Veritas undercover video was damning as hell.
Rodriguez did not say directly that she was paid by former Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr.’s campaign or the campaign for Democratic Senate candidate Mary Jennings “MJ” Hegar, but she said she was working for both candidates and she does not work for free.
“Yeah, I'm getting the Biden vote out, but I mean I'm not going to do it for free--in other words if they don’t pay me, I’m like excuse me?” she said.
“My people are undercover because some of them are Republicans,” she said. “Some of them are Democrats. Some of them are just wanting to get the right people in office, so some of the Republicans are precinct chairs that cannot be known because they could get kicked out, but they want to help Biden--and so that's how they're helping me.”
Rodriguez said she was also hired to help candidates running for judge.
“So, those three judges that you’re talking about, and that's her name? Renee Yanta, Nicole Garza, right? They're paying me $3,500. Me, $3,500 to make sure that their name is on the ballot,” she said. Yanta is a Republican and Garza is a Democrat.
O’Keefe said, “Rodriguez is more than just a political consultant. She directs a team of more than a dozen operatives, who act as hired guns for Republicans and Democrats looking to pay for votes.”
In one conversation with a Project Veritas journalist, Rodriguez said how much her services cost.
Raquel Rodriguez: “Let's say $6 per vote, right? And I’m going to bring in 5,000 votes.”
Rodriguez: “5,000 votes, that’s county-wide.”
Good deal. And then there's the cemetery vote.
Rodriguez and for a second time, Joann Ramon, who’s another political consultant, are now under investigation by the Texas Attorney General's office for voter fraud alleged in the undercover video.
It was back in 2012 that we first reported on the attorney general’s investigation involving Joann Ramon and the 2008 elections.
Our investigation lead us to the elections office, where we spent two weeks going over boxes of records.
In some of the boxes, we found more than 150 ballots with three similarities.
The same return address, 3530 Roland.
We recognized the address on Roland as it belongs to Southern Memorial Eastview Cemetery, which we had reported on for more than a year for disgraceful, rundown conditions and families filing complaints with the state for not being able to locate their loved ones final resting place there.
Back then, the cemetery belonged to Joann Ramon.
Multiply this process a whole bunch of times and it's how Democrats control cities and states. Unfortunately, Republicans spent less time focused on this voting fraud machine that's been around for a long time and more on algorithms, going down a social media rabbit hole that diverted attention from massive election fraud.
