Occupy D.C.: Democrats Will Keep 5,000 Soldiers in D.C. Until March
The extended occupation of Washington D.C. seems to be going well in that nobody's protesting anymore. Not when protests are banned.
The Biden regime has indicated that it may draw down from the 25,000 troops being quartered in finer D.C. parking lots because some Democrat congressional staffer caught them not wearing masks to only 5,000 by the middle of March.
Considering the feverish bloodbath that was the Biden inauguration, it's understandable that Democrats feel the need to continue the occupation of D.C.
CNN viewers everywhere have absorbed the sense that we are in a state of crisis that can only be resolved with a military occupation and the complete suppression of those elements of the political opposition not named Flake.
Occupy D.C. is now real, and so is this Duffel Blog parody.
More than 20,000 national guardsmen are expected to deploy to the nation’s capital to provide additional security during President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration on Jan. 20, but critics warn the National Guard appears to lack an exit strategy.
“We have no metric for what success looks like,” said one high ranking officer. “Is it an hour after the man is sworn in? Is it when the protesters have all left? We just don’t know.”
“We are here to train and assist until the members of Congress can fight on their own,” a National Guard Bureau official said. “We will be here until we reach that goal, not until we reach some arbitrary date. And we are confident we are about to turn that corner.”
With over 2,000 sworn officers, Congress still apparently can't defend itself against the menace of unarmed protesters. Not without thousands of soldiers as backup.
