National Guard Troops in D.C. Hospitalized, Fed Worms, Metal Shavings
Biden's illegal military occupation of Washington D.C. is continuing under the pretext of putting down an imaginary insurrection. Instead, it seems like Democrats have decided to recreate the Battleship Potemkin from the other side. The Russian Czar's military helped trigger a mutiny by serving the men borsch with maggots.
The Michigan Czar decided to settle for worms and metal shavings for the military occupation of D.C.
A whistleblower is telling 7 Action News nearly 75 meals were thrown out Sunday after metal shavings were found, other meals showed up undercooked making soldiers sick.
A staff sergeant with the Michigan National Guard, whose identity 7 Action News is protecting, says the problem is not isolated.
“Yesterday, for instance, there were 74 different meals found with raw beef in them,” the sergeant said. "Just yesterday, the lunches were, soldiers had found metal shavings in their food.”
On Monday, the anonymous sergeant provided another update saying, "Now after the raw meat yesterday for dinner they have told us not to eat the meals for the next two days and are giving us MRE’s instead. Soldiers are now paying for all their meals for the next two days in order to get real food."
Some soldiers had to be hospitalized.
According to a closed-door National Guard update given to members of Congress, 59 people had wide-ranging gastrointestinal issues because of food consumed at the Capitol. Some of the troops managed their conditions in their quarters, others required a hospital diagnosis.
Governor Whitmer, like Obama, only claimed to have found out about it from the media.
The Michigan National Guard said, “As soon as the first reports were received, Governor [Gretchen] Whitmer called Acting Secretary of the Army John E. Whitley to communicate Michigan’s concerns. Other Michigan senior leaders also engaged at the highest levels of the federal government to inform those in charge and to ensure that they knew of our displeasure with the conditions. Every assurance was given that the issue would be addressed and corrected.”
Now here's a basic question. Why has no one named who is providing these meals? That's a question that answers itself. Doesn't it?
This isn't the first problem with meals for the troops.
The troops down at the Capitol say the bad meals didn’t start on Day One. In early January, according to Maryland National Guard troops, the meals were fine. Shortly before the inauguration, though, things changed, and the cold, child-sized meals started arriving...
The D.C. National Guard has provided food for most of the time the troops have been at the Capitol. It was only when the National Guard Bureau (part of the Pentagon) took over the contracting in recent days that the food went downhill. NGB spokeswoman Nahuku McFadden admitted that the contractor did not provide enough food on at least one occasion.
“Soldiers and Airmen have to go out on their own in the D.C. area and buy their own meals if nothing is donated,” one National Guard spouse reported, “mainly because the food delivered and provided by the National Guard is cold or not even worth eating. The breakfast and lunch portions look more like a snack for a toddler than a meal for an adult.”
That was back in January. The problems have only gotten worse since.
If the Democrats insist on a fascist military occupation, maybe they could at least figure out how to feed the troops.
