AP: Banning Workplace Racism Is "Shielding Whites From Discomfort"

Or rather it's shielding whites in the same way that it shields blacks.

The underlying problem is that lefties argue that some kinds of racism are justifiable and a good thing, and either deny that they're racism (insisting instead on the weasel term, reverse racism) or or claim that their racism is a vital part of education, critical race theory, or workplace equity. And even formerly semi-credible wire services like the AP now sound like Gawker posts and TikTok videos.

Florida could shield whites from ‘discomfort’ of racist past - AP

The bill was sponsored by white supremacist politician... Manny Diaz and who offers the shocking notion that no races are good or bad.

The bill is called “Individual Freedom.” Republican Sen. Manny Diaz, its sponsor, said it is not about ignoring the “dark” parts of American history, but rather ensuring that people are not blamed for sins of the past.

“No individual is inherently racist, sexist or oppressive, whether consciously or unconsciously, solely by the virtue of his or her race or sex,” Diaz said. “No race is inherently superior to another race.”

Rather similar to the ideas of notorious white supremacist Martin Luther King Jr.

The bill reads in part, “An individual, by virtue of his or her race or sex, does not bear responsibility for actions committed in the past by other members of the same race or sex. An individual should not be made to feel discomfort, guilt, anguish, or any other form of psychological distress on account of his or her race.”

So it's banning workplace racism. The kinds of corporate workplace indoctrination in which white people or 'whiteness' are singled out for attack. The AP expends a lot of words, but can't actually admit what it's defending and what this entails and why it objects to it.
