Harvard, With $1.2B in Student Loan Debt, Finds Most Young People Support Someone Else Paying for College

Awesome news from an unbiased source.

Nearly 9 in 10 young Americans are in support of the government taking action on student debt.

That’s the finding from a survey conducted by the Institute of Politics at the Harvard Kennedy School.

The highest share of young adults interviewed by Harvard – 38% – favor the full cancellation of student debt

You can't cancel student debt, just make everyone else pay for it.

Incidentally, Harvard's tuition is pushing $50K and student loan debt involving the institution is astronomical.

In 2014 (the last year for which data was available), Harvard students owed $1.2 billion, Yale students $760 million

Harvard has an endowment of $42 billion. Maybe it should cancel student loan debt?
