Kamala Harris Warns of Terrifying Future of Gov Interference in "Personal Decisions"

I'm scared and I hope you are too.

Kamala Harris said Saturday that young people are stepping into an “unsettled” world amid destabilizing forces such as the COVID-19 pandemic and war in Ukraine, adding that long-held principles in the U.S. are on “shaky ground.”

Like the principle that a VP should be qualified to function as POTUS in case her boss loses the ability to spew word salads and eat ice cream at the same time?

During commencement remarks at Tennessee State University, a historically Black institution, Harris said, “it cannot be denied also that your class has traveled a stony road — a pandemic that took away so much of the college experience that you once imagined.”

It was really mean of the pandemic to unnecessarily shut down the education system so that MPHs and Amazon could get much richer.

But on to abortion.

Harris decried the drafted opinion, saying the “rights of all Americans are at risk.”

“If the right to privacy is weakened, every person could face a future in which the government can potentially interfere in the personal decisions you make about your life. This is the time to fight for women and for our country with everything we have,” Harris said.

Scary.

Is Kamala envisioning a terrifying future in which the government can order you to take an experimental medication or be barred from going to work or school?

Maybe a horrifying society in which the White House creates a "disinformation" board to censor what Americans can say online?

What about a dystopian world where the government puts forward proposals to track every aspect of your life in order to "save the planet"?

The "government can potentially interfere in the personal decisions you make about your life" ship has sailed a while back. The same folks who claimed that they wanted the government out of your bedroom, now want to set up shop there and in your mind and your body.

Defending a right to privacy for a party that believes people have no right to privacy, that was caught red-handed spying on political opponents, that suddenly decided that, "my body, my choice" should be a slogan after taking away that same right from every human being in the country is as laughable as... well... Kamala.
