Hillary Clinton Backed Out of Interview Over Weinstein Investigation

Two options to explain the thinking here.

1. Hillary Clinton was afraid of being asked about Harvey Weinstein, a top donor and pal.

2.  Hillary was giving into pressure from Harvey Weinstein

Farrow explained that he had an interview scheduled with Clinton while he was in the midst of reporting on Harvey Weinstein, the Hollywood titan he brought crashing down with a stunning New Yorker report on the extensive sexual assault claims leveled against him.

“Hillary Clinton had scheduled an interview while I was at the height of the Weinstein reporting, and her folks got in touch and said, ‘we hear you’re working on a big story,’ [they] sounded very concerned, and tried to cancel the interview.”

“Over the Weinstein stuff?” Stephanopoulos asked.

“Over the Weinstein stuff,” Farrow confirmed.

Hillary Clinton was notorious for being paranoid about the media. But Lisa Bloom, Harvey's fixer, had also been on the case helping dig up Trump accusers. Bloom had been trying to push damaging materials about Weinstein's accusers to Farrow.

Could Bloom have warned Clintonworld not to talk to Farrow?
