Pope Leo just wrapped his tour of oppressed Christian communities in Islamist dominated nations like Turkey and Lebanon. Rather than directly address the persecution of Christians, he praised the local regimes, met with Muslim leaders, took off his shoes at a mosque and took refuge in vague generalities.
In Lebanon, Pope Leo offered no direct criticism of Hezbollah or Islam. He visited and prayed at the Port of Beirut, where a Hezbollah weapons explosion killed over 200 people, many of them Christians, and the blast damaged churches and devastated families.
Pope Leo avoided placing blame, claiming instead that it’s natural to be “paralyzed by powerlessness in the face of evil”, but urged Lebanese Christians to “cast off the armor of our ethnic and political divisions, open our religious confessions to mutual encounter and reawaken in our hearts the dream of a united Lebanon.” This is actual powerlessness in the face of evil.
Lebanese Maronite Archbishop Paul Abdel Sater had a blunter message. “Our beloved martyrs and victims of the Aug. 4, 2020 explosion, you remain in us, and we remain faithful. We will not forget, we will not tire, and we will not remain silent, for your sake, for our sake, and for the sake of our homeland, Lebanon. The blood of the innocent cries out to God for justice.”
On the plane, Pope Leo was finally asked directly about the Islamic invasion of the West. And he replied that only bigots worry about it.
Pope Leo gets asked about fears over Islam in Europe
He answers that the fears are created by those "against immigration and trying to keep out people who may be from another country, another religion"
He says Lebanon, run by Muslim terrorists, is a model for Europe and U.S. pic.twitter.com/6PEbNUa2d4

Reporter: Hello. Um, thank you for this very interesting trip. You you just talk about continue to build bridge um between different world and I like to ask um some Catholics in Europe believe that Islam is a threat um to a Christian identity uh of the West. Are you are they right? And what will you say to them?
Pope Leo: All of the conversations that I had during my time both in Turkey and in Lebanon, including with many Muslims were precisely um concentrated on the topic of peace and respect for people of different religions. I know that as a matter of fact that has not always been the case.
I know that in Europe there are many times fears that are present but oftentimes generated by people who are against immigration and trying to keep out people who may be from another country, another religion, another race. And in that sense I would say that we all need to work together.
One of the values of this trip is precisely to raise the world’s attention to the possibility that dialogue and friendship between Muslims and Christians is possible. I think one of the great lessons that Lebanon can teach to the world is precisely showing a land where Islam, Christianity are both present and are respected and that there is a possibility to live together, to be friends. stories, testimony, witnesses that we heard even in the past two days of people helping each other, those are lessons that are important and should be heard in Europe or North America that uh we should perhaps be a little less fearful and look for ways of promoting authentic dialogue and respect.
Lebanon’s indigenous Christians have been vanishing while its conquering Muslim population has been growing. Lebanon’s Christian politicians in power serve as puppet regimes for Hezbollah and other Islamic terrorist groups.
Is that the model Pope Leo wants for Europe and America? Apparently yes.
And the only people who oppose it are bigots “who are against immigration and trying to keep out people who may be from another country, another religion, another race.”.

The translation of Islam into English is submission or surrender or under the foot. And did the Pope even bring up women’s rights or abuses suffered by women in that part of the world? It’s not bigotry to ask about that. Does reality not matter anymore?
Not when the Pope is smoking too much DOPE. Reality is only what I say it is.
Leo is an apostate and a heretic and therefore not a Catholic, and therefore, not a Pope.

That continued under Nasser. He described his regime as both nationalist and socialist, as did the Ba’ath Party in its manifesto IIRC.
I never ask why Jews support their leftist enemies because as a Christian I know all about stupid.
Pig. Monster. Throw this pope creature in a hamas tunnel and leave it there to rot (or whatever).
I once read that one of the oldest monasteries in the Saini was invaded by the real mohamhead in 623AD but he signed a letter granting the monks permission to stay — the letter is apparently still exists — and this monastery was there until recently when, I think I read, it was bulldozed by the Egyptians. Question — what did these Christian monks have to give or do or pay to mohamhead for his letter of permission to exist? And what did the current pope give or do or pay — or get paid — to allow him to remain in his palaces with his jewels and riches and power and media and egomania? How much did rich muslims pay the pope to sell out the West to islam?
I don’t just have pope fatigue, I have Christian fatigue. I am sick of Christians and their “charities” importing islam and the third world into the West for money and self-righteousness to destroy our societies without our permission. I am sick of their pompous criminal arrogance. The moment islam wins all of these Christians will convert since one tyrannical egomaniacal selfish “religion” of power and corruption is the same as any other. Hopeless. The entire situation is utterly hopeless.
Well, I’m not Catholic, so maybe I don’t have that much to lose here. But from what I’ve seen and heard, the Pope from day one seems to me to be an ignorant buffoon. But hey, that’s not a cardinal sin, and something that’s abundantly prevalent all over the world. And I would never automatically assume that any Pope, just by the nature of their title and position, is filled with wisdom. But I would settle for at least some common sense. (My ticket to Purgatory now pending.)
“a cardinal sin”
Clever!
Chris, I am not Catholic either. I attend a non-denominational.
Thankfully we only had to put up with Obama & Joe only twelve years,
The Pope has a lifetime appointment. He has full, supreme, immediate and universal power and authority over the whole church. (Wiki)
My step-family was Catholic. They displayed pope portraits in their homes, reminiscent of the North Korean Commie Kims’ found in every home; everywhere.
Recent Popes were pollyanna dopes. islam does not care about Catholic niceties. They smile and nod at you as a deception.
IMO, the Catholic Church has been poorly led since John Paul II. (BTW, he was shot by a muslim)
For G-D sake, tell Pope the Dope, stop listening to his master Satan.
He is talking Bull Shit.
Is ma supposed to be educated?
Typo, Is he supposed to be educated?
Christian clerics seem largely devoid of knowledge and common sense regarding Islam. As I recall, RCA pastor Robert H, Schuller once worked out an ecumenical statement with the Grand Mufti of Istanbul and a pontiff, in the foolish belief that “shared” belief in the patriarchy of Abraham was present among Roman Catholics, Calvinist Protestants, and Muslims. I doubt many questioned his good will, but quite a few doubted his good judgment.
Pope Leo is delusional. Ignorant of history and completely without supernatural faith. He is so delusional that if Saint Peter’s was converted to a mosque he would still deny reality. He is simply speeding up the Islamization of Western Europe.
As an alienated Roman Catholic I’d had fervent hopes that Leo XIV would rescind and reverse antipope Francis’s pronouncements, false “teachings,” and heretical positions and policies.
My hopes for such a return to the Church’s sound 2,000-year-old doctrines and teachings, and discipline, have been dashed.
I don’t expect, and certainly don’t want, Leo XIV to call for another (literal) military Crusade against the Mohammedans. But I DID expect, and wanted, him to stand defiantly and without apology in defense of Christianity and longstanding Christian values and doctrines against the Church’s and the West’s infiltration and destruction by the Mohammedans, with whom there can be no “accommodation,” since as a matter of their own doctrine they seek our utter destruction.
Tolerance and peaceful co-existence with “others” have long been fundamental Christian and Jewish doctrines and practice. But for the followers of Mohamed, those virtues, values, and way of life are anathema and blasphemy since the 7th Century when the Caravan Raider and desert warlord first claimed that “Allah” ordered him to kill the “infidels” and seize their wives and daughters as concubines in their harems.
God–the REAL God–help us if He decides that we deserve to be helped and saved from hideous, bloody barbarism.
My worry is that He might decide that we don’t, and will just stand by indifferently as our Civilization destroys itself from within.
Pope Leo demonstrates an inexcusable ignorance of Islam. Either that, or he is accusing Muslims of hypocrisy and apostacy with no intention of obeying Allah’s command to “slay the unbelievers wherever ye find them”.
The Islamists have the advantage of being able to use terror. What kind of government is strong enough to resist that?
“What kind of government is strong enough to resist that?”
A government that’s not being paid off by the same people funding the terrorists. It’s called corruption. One of the main reasons why islam’s winning and we’re dead meat.
Other reasons include: “compassion”, “charity”, toxic “empathy”, “turning the other cheek”, “both sides”, “fair play”, magical thinking, the passive-aggressive infantilism of carrying signs saying “refugees not racists” while chanting “Imagine”, and addiction to the suicidal narcissism of “multicultural diversity” as the ultimate Western virtue signalling status symbol (especially among females). Add to this list the psycho-social Western catastrophe of mass population cohorts of males stupefied on legal cannabis in their porn basements and females drunk on boxed wine at their Housewives of Hell bitch klatches. We deserve our fate. And, boy, are we gonna get it.
The Israelis have been doing that since 1948 without outside help. It is quite obvious that the CC doctrine regarding Jews have not changed and the Church would rather see the Christians of the Levant dead than the Jewish state prosper. Please note that the Pope did not visit Israel on his trip, the only place in the ME where Christians are not being killed or persecuted, but prosper.
I cannot see what distinguishes this Pope Leo from jihadis, communists, and the United Nations.
Exactly. I ask myself, who is the Pope serving, that he would aid and abet the Islamization of Europe?
5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?
6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
The moo slims are against what these three verses say.
The Pope has exchanged the Shoes of the Fisherman for jackboots.
Pope Leo speak with forked tongue, he shill for the umma.
The Pope seems to be scared to death of Islam. He has to know that all his ass kissing will ultimately fail and Catholicism will be erased from the earth. He just doesn’t want it to happen on his watch.
Then this Pope is as naive as the last Pope. Twenty million migrants from third world countries will never assimilate. They have already permanently altered the demographics of the US. Pope Leo is just another wanna-be-loved by all over the world kind of Pope. Naive and dangerous.
Under the Church’s longstanding doctrine, a Pope is elected by a conclave (“with key,” i.e. in secret session behind closed doors, not public debate and voting) of the College of Cardinals, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. That has usually worked.
An “antipope” is chosen the same way, but under the inspiration of the Devil, rather than the Holy Spirit.
Draw your own conclusions as to which Power inspired the Cardinals to vote for the current Pope, and for his immediate Predecessor.
SUICIDAL IDIOCY – Read the Qur’an and you will learn that Islam requires the DEATH of non-believers. If the non-believer is female, RAPE after RAPE after RAPE will be their REWARD. EVIDENCE PROVES THAT’S WHAT THEY DO!!! 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
2 non-contradictory statements:
He’s from Chicago.
His election was fixed.
This pope has a severe case of “liberalitis.” His mind is so open that his brain is suffering from prolonged exposure to the elements and is showing signs of atrophy. At his age, liberalitis gets worse until it becomes terminal and his brain begins to putrefy and he starts to stink of cadaverine (the smell of decaying animal flesh.)
The Christian population of Lebanon in 1970 was 55%. Christian population of Lebanon today is @30%. And that is a model for Europe? No “defender of the faith” is this Pope.
Sadly, he is deluded. He has what I call “the Rodney King syndrome” —why can’t we all just get along? Islam made war in Christian North Africa and Europe in the 7th and 8th centuries. These attacks continued into the modern period. In WWI, the Ottoman Empire allied with Germany and Austria-Hungary against the UK, France, and the USA. Islam wants to assault and conquer what used to be called Christendom. Now we are just “dumb.”
“Trying to keep out peoplevwho may be from another country, anothet religion, another race,” but the British by and large have nothing against Hindus because the Hindus have nothing against them
Holy cow! Hear the pope!
Can this guy be such a dope?
He seems attracted to old Mo’s men.
Praising them always, with voice or pen.
Seems to me his thinking’s lazy,
Or maybe he’s just a little crazy.
His brain’s in a condition of debility,
At odds with infallibility!
His mind is frozen! Surely iced!
Where’s a word from him for Christ?
Apparently it’s quite easy to pull the wool over the yes of the Pope.
“….Says Lebanon is a Model for Europe..” he says. A land run by Iranian terror proxy called Hezbollah
