Even as Christians continue to suffer in Nigeria, Pope Leo chose to exclude them from his “Urbi et Orbi” Christmas message in which he claimed that “Jesus took upon himself our fragility, identifying with each one of us: with those who have nothing left and have lost everything, like the inhabitants of Gaza; with those who are prey to hunger and poverty, like the Yemeni people; with those who are fleeing their homeland to seek a future elsewhere, like the many refugees and migrants who cross the Mediterranean or traverse the American continent.”
The majority of those he’s specifically invoking in national contexts are Muslims in Gaza, and Yemen Muslims and other Muslim mass migrants trying to “cross the Mediterranean” to reach Europe.
But he also spares a thought for the non-Muslim illegal aliens trying to invade America.
What’s interesting about the international prayers in the pope’s message is that the nations and territories that he mentions, “Lebanon, Palestine, Israel and Syria”, “Sudan, South Sudan, Mali, Burkina Faso and the Democratic Republic of Congo”, Haiti, Burma, Cambodia, Thailand, Yemen, Gaza, are mostly non-Christian. Apart from Haiti and Congo, they’re non-Christians areas.
And Pope Leo can’t help but exclude Nigeria, where Christian churches continue to be attacked by Muslims. Out of all that benevolence and all the prayers for peace in Muslim countries, he can’t seem to find the time to express anything for Nigeria’s Christians.

After much study and thought, I have come to the conclusion it really doesn’t matter. His flaws, whatever they be and however interesting psychologically, have caused the Pope to embrace a new religion – often known as the post-war liberal consensus. Its foundational tenet is the toleration of all peoples, cultures and religions EXCEPT Christianity, and this foundational premise is protected by blasphemy laws that privilege other religions and punish Christians and Christianity.
This understanding makes everything fall into place and the solution clear.

Whether or not one is a Bible believer makes all the difference in the world. By chance you are, read Acts chapter 7 again, and then compare Acts 2:34-35 with 7:54-57 and see if you don’t notice something very interesting.

You didn’t have to go to Rense to get those numbers that are wrong anyway. Just do the math from the numbers in the Bible and you will see that 5 billion people will die horrible deaths in the Tribulation (which could start almost any day now, after the rapture).
And it’s not 25 million Christians that will be beheaded. It’s 25 million people that will be beheaded for refusing the mark and accepting Christ at the cost of losing their head.

I’m a traditional Roman Catholic and wish that Pope Leo XIV would read the New Testament where Christ was asked by the Roman centurion to cure his servant. Jesus did so, remarking on the Centurion’s strong faith. Again, when soldiers asked Saint John the Baptist what they should do he replied that they should not extort money, give false witness and be content with their pay. Nowhere did either Christ or Saint John the Baptist tell the soldiers to become pacifists.
