The pro-Palestinian campus brownshirts do not only chant their slogans demanding an end to Israel and its replacement by a 23rd Arab state (“From the river to the sea/Palestine will be free”), nor their desire that Jews, and not just Israelis, be killed (“Globalize the Intifada”). They do not only harass and physically attack Jewish students, interrupt classes taught by Jewish and Israeli professors, and vandalize campus buildings, but they have also taken to attacking the homes of university officials, trying to terrorize them into adopting anti-Israel policies, including divesting of endowment funds from companies linked to Israel.
At the University of Michigan, the homes of regents have been attacked, so that they now are receiving round-the-clock security. University of Michigan regents and some top executives are receiving 24-hour-security amid persistent threats and harassment from anti-Israel protesters.
The Detroit News reported this week that the University of Michigan “has assigned 24-hour security to its regents and executive officers in response to harassment, property damage and personal threats that began last fall and have continued through June.”
“UM regents Jordan Acker, Mark Bernstein and Sarah Hubbard said during separate interviews that the university, on the advice of legal counsel, security experts and local law enforcement, assigned them around-the-clock protection in response to serious, ongoing threats to their personal safety,” the newspaper reported.
As recently as June, protesters plucked the heads off hundreds of flowers at the University of Michigan, leaving a sign saying people should not enjoy the peony garden when Palestinians are “dying and starving right now.”
But the targeting of top officials began last May, when activists went to regents’ homes, posting a list of demands to their front doors.
“Nobody should ever encounter a masked and hooded man on the front porch of their home in the early morning making demands that the university divest from Israel and defund the police,” Regent Mark Bernstein reportedly said at the time.
Regent Sarah Hubbard also had about “30 protesters put tents and other objects on her front lawn and used bullhorns to disrupt the neighborhood at around 6 a.m.,” NPR reported at the time.
In June 2024, the front of Jewish Regent Jordan Acker’s law office was spray-painted with the words “free Palestine” and “divest or f*** off.” In October 2024, then-President Santa Ono’s home was spray-painted with the words “intifada,” “coward,” and “divest.”
Regent Acker was again targeted in December when his car was spray-painted with the words “divest” and “free Palestine” and a window in his home was smashed. Acker said both his and his wife’s vehicles were vandalized, and someone threw a jar with a “foul-smelling liquid” through a window of their house….
There is only one way to stop these attempts by pro-Palestinians to terrorize university regents and other officials into adopting anti-Israel policies. These brownshirts need to be caught, and given sentences measured not in months but in years of prison time. That will do much to curb the enthusiasm of these baby-faced terrorists.

Terrorists should be given more than mere jail time, preferably in a facility such as Alligator Alcatraz. Cancel their passports, and after they have served their years in prison expel them to a jihadi sh!thole in the Middle East or Africa. Track down all their sources of support — financial, media, political — and prosecute them all for sedition and treason. The Constitution is clear as to the penalties for these actions. They are waging war on the U.S. within our own borders. They are terrorists and saboteurs who deserve no due process. They should consider themselves lucky not to be shot on sight.

a long term prison. Now, the REAL Alcatraz is being renovated. That would be an excellent
place for them.

It would take a lot less time and manpower to be proactive in the face of the threat and make examples of the criminals. Either the university or the individuals should pay for their own security from the monsters they indoctrinated to act this way..

Teach these Jewish professors how to handle a gun and give them a concealed permit and if they are accosted assume they are going to be attacked and shot to wound but if they kill, oh well.
They will automatically be immune from prosecution if the one they shot was accosting them.
many of the actions of these terrorist agitators appear to rise to he level of lethal threats. Molotov cocktails, breaking windows with thrown objects, entering outbuildings, illegal use of fire, detaining or otherwise blocking the free movement of residents at their own homes, etc… It would appear any of these residents being attacked in the middle of the night whilst in their own homes would be full justified to apply lethal force for their own protection. And if the residents would be so justified any hired “security” personnel would as well.
All it would take would be for a group of these agitators to be fired upon as they ply their trade of terror. If some of them happen to get between the protector and them with a live round, oh well. You played a stupid game, congrats, you just won a very stupid prize. Deal.

The article states such acts of vandalism have been going on since May. What? They still haven’t made any arrests? Security for the regents is good, but catching the hoodlums would be better. How difficult can that be?
