Every question from reporters about these strikes on Iran seems to be “What’s the reason for this?”
They’ve had FORTY SEVEN years to do their homework.
It’s almost as if they demand that Rubio et.al., are supposed to have a spur-of-the-moment college lecture on the topic on the tip of their tongues, but they want it dumbed-down for the sloganeers and the blunt skulls.
What isn’t explained, at least I have not heard anyone in the administration explain it, is the U.S. has grossly neglected or even ignored Iran’s ability to produce these weapons for decades plus our interference in their country’s leadership, overthrowing their Prime Minister in 1953 (under Eisenhower) and inserting the Shah who, in return, gave the U.S. and the Brits complete control over Iran’s oil industry. The Shah was overthrown by revolution in 1979, ending outsider control of their oil. Under Reagan the U.S. funded Iraq’s war with Iran and also attacked Iran (600,000+ Iranian deaths). Then came sanctions, etc., destroying the Iranian economy. Is there any reason they should not hate America? Their religious beliefs are just a part of what President Trump has had to deal with as it’s reached a boiling point where we absolutely have to eliminate their nuke capabilities, there really are any. Remember, Trump’s intel back in 2025 indicated there was no evidence that Iran was close to nuke capabilities.

President Trump has repeatedly said publicly, in both his terms as President, that former administrations had allowed the mullahs of Iran to run hog wild and develop nukes.
Nothing about the former Shah has anything to do with Trump’s liberation of Iran.
Reagan never had the Iranian Mullahcracy attacked. Only IRGC scumbags were killed in in Iraq’s war with Iran, except for the innocent children the IRGC forced into the line of fire.
Iranians like Americans and love Trump. They’re doing the Trump dance in the streets of Iran and other countries around the world. The dead and decomposing mullahs and their IRGC murderers hated us.
The IRGC bragged to U.S. negotiators Steve Whackoff and Jared Kushner that they would soon have nukes and “America can’t do a damn (sic) thing about it.”
Trump never received intel other than that which indicated the Mullahcracy was developing nukes.
