This is the very real state of the urban criminal justice system on the coasts.
Major cities are in the middle of a crime wave caused by pro-crime policies like refusing to lock up criminals.
Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell explained at a debate that he had no intention of locking up criminals.
When asked if Seattle is too lax on repeat offenders, Mayor Bruce Harrell answered, "I don't know how to answer that question," then rambled about "culturally competent officers," & George Floyd.

Harrell was asked, “FBI statistics have shown that, in 2024, Seattle had the fourth-highest overall crime rate compared to other large cities. The crime numbers this year overall seem to be on a better path than last year. But, Mr. Harrell, it’s no secret that repeat offenders are driving much of this crime. Is the city too lax on repeat offenders?”
The mayor explained that he has no idea what “lax” means and explained that the justice system is racist and he doesn’t want to lock up repeat offenders because he wants to know their life story.
“When this person is committing six or seven crimes, I don’t know his or her story. Maybe they were abused as a child. Maybe they’re hungry. But my remedy is to find their life story to see how we can help. First, I have no desire to put them in jail,” he rambled.
If you’re hoping for a good outcome here, remember Harrel is running against Councilwoman Katie Wilson whose position is that Harrell is too right wing and that she won’t lock up any criminals at all. The left is currently hyping her as Seattle’s version of Mamdani.
Seattle’s mayoral election is officially a contest between someone who doesn’t want to lock up criminals and someone who really doesn’t want to lock up criminals.

Deportation is an alternative to locking them up. Ancient Rome often did that.
I believe the correct term is banishment. I would be A-OK with keeping all of the illegals if we could deport democrats in their place.
Banishment is a more accurate term than deportation but the effects are similar.. Actually Roman banishment may have been more effective. The banished would flee for their lives to avoid being torn limb from limb 🙂

Well it seems that loosing the violent criminals on us all is the globalist strategy everywhere in western civilization these days.

He had the opportunity to learn the “life story” after the first crime (preferably while the criminal is in jail). Why was he released after the first? Five or six crimes later, he still doesn’t know the life story. Why does the mayor believe it’s acceptable for a person to commit and be caught at least five or six times before he swings into action?
…and he’s the “better” of the two candidates.
If t his screwball wont have violent felons arrested and jailed then he needs to step down and retire to Prison for aiding and abetting

What they need is a lax-ative and an enema in the ears to get shit out of their brains!
That is no longer governance, it is the strategic proliferation of violence to create anarchy. Time for the Feds to re-establish order and address their officials’ collusion with criminal behavior in violation of public safety by deliberately putting the law-abiding residents in harms way.
This is elected lawlessness and the DOJ needs to put serious parameters on this negligence, and their willful dereliction of civic duties to their constituents.
