It may not happen in this race, but someone has to be the first. And it’s bound to be in California.
Rene Campos, who is a registered sex offender, intends to run in the crowded Fresno City Council race for the District 7 seat in the June primary election.
In 2021, Campos pleaded no contest to a 2018 charge of possession of child pornography and served two years of formal probation.
Campos told The Bee that his main driver for running for City Council comes from his personal experiences of dealing with homelessness as a teenager and facing biases as a gay man. He says this background equips him to better understand and serve the community despite his former conviction.
That’s why his platform includes “youth safety”, homelessness response and “standing up for those without power.”
How ‘progressive’.
“When Rene believed wrongdoing occurred, he didn’t stay silent. He pursued accountability through formal channels, including the courts, gaining firsthand experience with how systems treat ordinary people.”
He sounds like the next Harvey Milk. Can’t wait until a ship is named after him and then unnamed after him.
Now launching his campaign to represent District 7 on the Fresno City Council, he says his focus is on safety.
“They say let’s choose somebody outside the box, somebody who knows the system from the inside out, because me, I’ve experienced the laws that we are trying to reform right now,” says Campos.
California Democrats did just decide to free a serial child rapist.
David Allen Funston became notorious for luring children as young as four years old in Sacramento into his car with candy and dolls then raping them. A little girl had a knife held to her throat while he raped her so badly she bled. One 5-year-old girl was raped, beaten and left by the side of the road. He raped a little boy and kidnapped two sisters, 4 and 5, before he was finally stopped.
Funston was known as “the monster parents fear the most” and was sentenced to three life terms in prison in 1999. But in 2020, even as he was having surfers arrested and small business owners shut down, Gov. Gavin Newsom signed AB 3234 into law which took the state’s already generous ‘elder parole law’ and redefined ‘elder’ as being any criminal over the age of fifty.
Now, Funston, who was convicted of 16 counts of kidnapping and child molestation, is being granted ‘elder parole’ under Newsom’s law to the horror of the children he once abused.
I can’t wait till he runs for Newsom’s old job. That is the future of California.
As well as Communist, Democrats are the Pedo & Psychopath Party, so their latest shtick has to be Anarcho-Tyranny. Just let the Crims run wild on society and anyone who objects or defends themselves, families or communities gets rounded-up, shipped off to the Gulag in cattle-cars festooned with barbed wire and of cause be made to wear Blue Striped Pyjamas with the Yellow Star.

Then again, with his experience as a homeless hustler, maybe he’d be better off in politics? Fresno would probably put him on the school board though, so no.
California’s title of “the land of fruits and nuts” is well earned. It’s probably the only state that would parole a convicted pedophile and let them live right down the street from an elementary school. It’s probably the only state where you can murder someone and be out on parole in as little as 6 years (that’s not mere hyperbole, it’s a statement of fact.)
And now the perverts are running for elected office? What’s next: a convicted murderer for governor? Only in California; the land of fruits and nuts.
CA definitely has the best fruit and nuts in the Central Valley but the clear majority of us hate left-wing sociopolitical filth. The State Legislature rules the 49% of registered Republicans with an iron fist, though.
For what it’s worth:
I don’t personally hate leftists, I just hate everything they stand for. They’re people afflicted with serious mental and emotional problems. That is to say, they’re mentally ill and in desperate need of treatment. Most of them should probably be institutionalized for the rest of their natural lives.
But hate them? Nah. They are what they are: dumb jackasses. Jackasses aren’t that smart. Several hard whacks on their thick skulls with a heavy blunt instrument and they’ll “see the light” and get their act together.
Was it Seattle or Portland that put a murderer on the police review board?
I wouldn’t put it past either city.
