Why do American kids know so little and learn so poorly? It begins with the corrupt educational infrastructure of teachers’ unions whose goal is to extract as much money and power by holding the kids hostage for money and their woke agendas.
Over 50,000 kids are out of school for a second day in a row after San Francisco’s teachers’ unions decided to go on strike because they just didn’t have enough to live on.
This is a district where the starting salary for a teacher with no experience is over $79,000 and the average salary is “just $103,472”.
The teachers’ union demanded a 9% raise (and 14% raise for some teachers), but after being offered a 10% raise, they’re still going on strike because they also want 100% premium coverage for them and their families.
Who demands and gets things like this? The worst government unions in America.
The first point of agreement between the school district and the union was tightening ‘sanctuary’ for illegal alien criminals. But the union still keeps demanding money.
After the district offered to cover 80% of premiums, that offer was also rejected. “Not enough. We walk the line until it’s 100%,” Nathalie Hrizi, United Educators of San Francisco’s vice president of substitutes vowed.
The union has suggested that on top of the six figure salaries, the paid sabbaticals (what exactly do first grade teachers need sabbaticals for), they get $24,000 to cover health care costs.
The San Francisco Unified School District has a $100 million deficit. The union is demanding that it raid its rainy day fund to fill its boundless greed because it ‘cares about the kids’.
The teachers’ union cares about the kids so much that it’s keeping them out of schools and berating parents not to homeschool them or they’re scabs.
And with the strike set to drag into a Wednesday, local parents are now fuming after teachers emailed them and asked them not to encourage any home study.
But teachers claim in messages they sent to parents that the packets were a ploy to ensure the district continues to receive funds during the strike, meaning the district would be able to avoid caving to the union’s demands.
“If many families participate in independent study, it reduces pressure on the district and can prolong the strike,” read a screenshot shared on social media. “If you are able, we ask that you do not participate in the independent study provided by the district.”
If there were still any doubts after COVID, teachers’ unions genuinely want to hurt kids as much as they can. The only hope for American education is to end teachers’ unions.
So what are parents and taxpayers getting from these parasites in exchange for their six figure salaries? Read ’em and weep.
- Overall, SFUSD student proficiency rates for SBAC ELA continued to be above 50% in English Language Arts (ELA), and remained relatively steady for the last several years (Figure 1). This trend holds true across most student groups.
- Overall, SFUSD student proficiency rates on the SBAC Math remained steady from 2021-22 to 2024-25 (46%), with similar trends seen across most student groups (Figure 2).
This is a press release. They’re bragging that less than half of students are proficient in math and more than half are proficient in English.
The union is so proud of its numbers that it would like a five figure salary bump rather than being forced to clean the toilets.
Surely when they’ve kept kids out of school long enough, the numbers can only improve. It worked during COVID.
At some point Trump admin should step in and fire them all. And only hire qualified teachers.

Well actually, the federal gov shouldn’t be involved in education at all. No funding, but also no involvement or decision making at all.

There could be a crash if it catches up to those scumbags. I hope not, even though I hate them. I’m sure not prepared for a crash. Alzheimer Joe’s handlers did enough damage with their four years of sabotage, and Greasehead Newscum has been busy transforming CA into a terror landscape of super high: prices, taxes, onerous regulations, crime rates, homelessness, the population of illegal aliens, firestorms caused by bums and allowed to destroy entire major cities and using enough grease on his head to lubricate the US Naval fleet.

For the CA Karen’s Unions, the world is not enough, even though CA rates 48th in education nationally based of proficiency standards that would’ve been considered failure standards prior to the early 70s when they began to degenerate into the special needs level they’re at now. Hell they’re below the special needs retard level they were at the beginning of the fall. And CA wastes far, far, far more money on indoctrination substituted for education than any other state. 80% of it goes to administrators who don’t work except to impose “woke” policies, about 10% goes to indoctrinators who don’t teach and about 10% is wasted on students, half of whom are graduated from high school functionally illiterate and incapable of basic math.
Indoctrinators posing as teachers average over $100,000 a year in most school districts in the state. After LA, San Francisco is at the bottom of the scale for student educational levels, last time I checked.
The heads of students are filled to bursting with “woke” filth and lies about DEI, reverse reality white oppression and skin privilege, tranny tyranny, activism for illegal alien criminals, TDS, and unquestioned obeisance/obedience to the Dirtbagocrat party.
I used to be an English teacher back in the day. Not everybody can be a good teacher but honesty is the top qualification to be one. Honesty and skill are sorely lacking in most American teachers, particularly the Karens in CA.
Every parent who’s able needs to pull their kids out of government schools, which are “dark satanic mills.” Blake obviously considered educational institutions like Oxford and Cambridge “dark satanic mills” along with industrial mills in his “Jerusalem” poem which is featured on FPM right now. The U.S. Department of Education and its national mills are far, FAR more satanic than Oxford or Cambridge ever were.
Parents should investigate carefully the schools they send their kids to.
They should burn them down late at night…..:)
These teachers and their vile unions should be protesting the fraud and waste under their governor Gruesome NewScam. Because that’s what has messed up their funding and pay raises Where the hell do they think the raises are coming from but the tax payers. These people are taxpayers too, so they end up paying for their own raises.
To me that is not too bright and why teachers and school districts are failing young students.
