Why do we have so much fraud by Somalis in Minnesota? Consider the severe penalties.
A Minnesota man was sentenced on Monday to more than a year in prison after pleading guilty to creating fake invoices to a nonprofit that falsely claimed it served 1.5 million meals to children in need within seven months.
According to his guilty plea, Abdul Abubakar Ali submitted fake invoices for technology services from his company, Bilterms Solutions, to Youth Inventors Lab.
The Justice Department claimed the Youth Inventors Lab received more than $3 million in reimbursements, of which Ali personally pocketed at least $129,000.
Good deal all around. Not so much for Americans, but who cares about them anyway?
Here are some further details on the case.
Ali and his co-conspirators used the nonprofit “Youth Inventors Lab” as a shell company to carry out his scheme, investigators said. Ali enrolled Youth Inventors Lab in the federal food program under the sponsorship of Feeding Our Future, according to authorities.
After enrolling, Ali “immediately” began submitting claims for reimbursement for purportedly serving meals to hundreds or thousands of children a day, investigators said.
Ali created and submitted fake invoices purporting to document the purchase of food from a vendor, S & S Catering, according to authorities.
In reality, S & S Catering did not provide Youth Inventors Lab with any meals and Youth Inventors Lab did not serve any meals to children, investigators said.
Youth Inventors Lab falsely claimed to have served more than 1.3 million meals between December 2020 through June 2021, and they fraudulently received $3,029,786 in reimbursements, according to authorities.
But at least the judge was combating implicit racial bias and Bigfoot.
A convicted Somali fraudster who stole millions in taxpayer dollars through the Feeding Our Future scheme was sentenced to only one year in federal prison by a Minnesota judge who has said she has a duty to combat “implicit racial bias” in the criminal justice system, including by acknowledging what she says is a disproportionate representation of black people in the state’s prison population.
And a a disproportionate representation of Somali fraudsters.

Somalia is often called the worst country in the world. Of course, Sir Richard Burton also told us that in the 1800s.
A sanctuary judiciary . A contradiction in terms ,
1 year in prison for $3 million in fraud, aye? How much can he abscond with if he’s willing to do a nickel (5 years) in prison)? $20 million? Perhaps he should run for political office. That way he could legally steal $$millions under the guise (ruse) of campaign contributions.
That’s how it’s done by big league politicos. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: winning an election is better than winning the lotto–by far!
All foreign fraudsters should be deported. No exceptions. Denaturalize, deport and ban permanently.
…and first him a eunuch before he departs.
Angel, I’m sure you understand that democrats would oppose you on that point. Why would they deport and ban reliable democrat voters?
Justice Is Blind is the USA system of justice? In other words, commit a crime, a judge does not look at the person but the deed.
Giving a lesser or greater fine by the person’s appearance is racist.
An American taxpayer would get treated worse if his return was unfiled, filed incorrectly, or left upaid.
Take a look at the Muslim fraud cases. I doubt these people started their fraud when they arrived in the US. Most likely they were doing the same thing in their home country, but saw greener fields in the US. Then good old President Robinette allowed foreign criminals to begin the second gold rush in America but the gold was in people’s pockets.
Someone should look into St Cloud Mn “selected” city councilwoman, Hudda Ibrahim. She was just caught up in alleged election fraud. She has been on a pedestal for the refugee/immigrant supporters for years. She claims to hold these degrees:
Doctor of Education and Leadership degree from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota.
Master’s degree in Conflict Resolution from the University of Notre Dame.
Bachelor’s degree in Conflict Resolution and English literature from the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University in Minnesota.
Human Resource certification from Cornell University, New York.
Taught at St. Cloud Technical and Community College for ten years.
And wrote a book “Somali in the Snow” that the local media promoted more than the Bible.
I remember how she lashed out at a former city councilman when he asked to hold a refugee moratorium to study real costs of refugees on the area. She called him a bigot and the media lied calling it a full stop on refugee settlement in our county. They are pushing that lie to this day. She didn’t display very good conflict resolution at that time. But I guess conflict resolution is easy when you always get your own way.
