After Front Page Investigates exposed the massive Somali frauds in Minnesota (and beyond) and President Trump blasted it, politicians and the media have rushed to claim that Somalis are the victims of racism and xenophobia.
In today’s article, ‘What Somalis Have Done for Minnesota’, I take a closer look at Somali exceptionalism and contrast it with that of other black people and immigrants in the state.
Somalis are the second largest foreign-born population in Minnesota after Mexicans. 42% of Somalis fall below the poverty line. This is far worse than the 21% poverty rate for African-Americans or any Christian African immigrant population such as Ethiopians (18%) or Nigerians (8%). 45% of Nigerians own homes, so do 27% of African-Americans, but only 12% of Somali settlers in America do. Somali ‘exceptionalism’ is not racial or immigrant: it’s cultural.
40.6% of Somalis settlers in Minnesota don’t even have a high school degree. 40% of Somalis have an income at the 200% federal poverty line. 40% of Somali settlers in Minnesota earn below $35,000. Their median household income is $43,600.
This is culture. Not race.
And importing Somalis is demographic replacement for black people in the state.
While Somalis for now form only a small part of the adult population in the state, their offspring represent a sizable part of the underage population with over 42,000 Somali offspring to over 68,000 black children. At this rate, Somalis will outnumber African-Americans in Minnesota.
Why are we bringing in Somalis to replace African-Americans, giving them far more benefits and elevating them to power?
Somalis are a preview of replacing all Americans, African or otherwise. The same could be said for many other third-world immigrants to the U.S.
Yes race and culture are different, but there is a significant relationship between the two.

Basketball player Lew Alcindor became Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. “Room 222” black actor Arlington Banks became Heshimu Cumbuka. Barry Soetoro became Barack Hussein Obama. It’s a black thing. White people can’t understand it because we’re all racist pig motherfuckers.

Recall that in 2008, Jesse Jackson was detected on an open mike saying of presidential candidate Barack Hussein Obama, “I want to cut his nuts off.” I’m left with a question: Are the Minnesota Somalis more or less black than the half-white Barack Hussein Obama?

Heritage? Some heritage although I do like the chicks. It’s not like blacks have left America a rich heritage. Sure, I like the 80% of them who aren’t gutter scum criminals but their contributions to society are meager compared to those of whites. They didn’t even invent basketball, and jazz sucks. I suppose singers like Sam Cooke and some good music were contributions but those days are over. Everything they produce now is garbage, although that could be said of current white contributions to music, too. The only current white guy I know of who writes great songs with great music is James Hunter, and he’s a Londoner.
Latin contributions are meager too, except for food. “Asians?” Food and heroin.

From the various podcasts I watch, Somalians differentiate themselves from American black people. Some even claim that they’re not black at all. We live in strange times.
They aren’t black. They’re racially mixed; black and “Arab.”
I don’t care what they call themselves. The only relevant fact that matters is that they’re people from a primitive culture who have brought there primitive culture with them to our country and aren’t being required to assimilate into American culture. And they’re not the only third worlders who are in this country and are not being required to assimilate.
In the history of humankind, no country has ever survived when there was more than one culture in that country.
Right now, given our lax immigration policies, America is becoming a modern day tower of Babel. That cannot and will not last. Moreover, it’s not a matter of if but when America finally disintegrates. And in my opinion, democrats would like nothing better than to see the America our founders gave us come to an end.

Somalians derive from a 3rd-world culture of corruption. Somalia is one of the most, if not the most, verifiably corrupt country in the world; even more than Mexico [and I am a Mexican by birth and descent and deplore Mexican, institutional corruption). Somalians in America need to be educated in American culture before their children [offspring] follow in their parents’ footsteps. America cannot continue to indefinitely sustain more and more corrupt Somalians. Before I’m accused of xenophobia, ethnocentricity, or racial discrimination, research the facts. This is how many Somalians were raised. They have committed fraud because they have been exposed to the policies of unguarded wealth, and disregard for the rule of law by Democrats. When you expose the corrupt to the ease of theft, they will take advantage. It’s time to bring the law to bear upon all those Somalians who have been involved in American taxpayer theft!

It’s interesting to me that America is the only country in the world where a trivial thing like your skin tone matters to the point where it’s an irrational obsession that all to often plays a pivotal role in a persons status and station in life.
We make a big deal over a person’s so-called race but objectively and scientifically speaking, there is only one race of bi-pedal sapient beings on this planet: homo sapien sapiens or modern human beings. Only a person dispossessed of literacy beyond an elementary education would try to argue otherwise.
I view such a person as an intellectually challenged neanderthal who would argue that the earth is flat and an island can tip over if too many people stand on one side of the island.
Good comment. But it’s not just America obsessed with race. I’d say most non-white peoples are — way more than white people. An example is blacks from the Carribean. I taught English literacy classes in Toronto to mostly Carribean black immigrants throughout the 1990s and boy what a lesson in race for the then very liberal-leftish white me. They told me that status is completely related to the lightness or darkness of their skin tones “back home”. One black Jamaican guy’s family refused to acknowlege his marriage because his wife was too dark. There were also two African black guys in the class and both treated the Carribean blacks with disdain almost revulsion — one asked me why as a teacher I didn’t have a stick to beat the stupid West Indian students. And all of these Caribbean and African blacks hated American blacks most of all. White and black friends over the years who were from the Carribean also attested to blacks’ obsession with skin tone and status there. So it ain’t just the USA. Also the Chinese are the most racist against blacks on the planet and have memory holed all their Chinese cartoons depicting blacks as monkeys. Also the arab word for African black translates as “slave”.
You’re right about all that stuff. The first thing Haitians did when they won their independence through slaughter was to form a hierarchy with lighter skinned people on top and darker skinned people on the bottom. I knew Caribbean and especially African blacks tend to dislike or even hate American blacks but I didn’t know some or many(?) African blacks hated Caribbeans. I did know the Chinese hate them.
Only Westerners are race obsessed. I’ve lived and traveled in far Eastern countries and I’ve been to Latin America. In Mexico the Mestizos treat the Indios like shit not the other countries. Brazil is so racially mixed that they don’t even think about it.

Racism? Somali isn’t a race any more than the people who claim to be Arabs just because they speak Arabic. I speak English but that doesn’t make me English. Imam, who was married to David Bowie, was gorgeous. She is from Somalia. I know a woman of Somali descent whose family had fled to Kenya. She is grateful to be in the USA and wants nothing to do with the religion into which she had been born. Also gorgeous.
