The Southern Poverty Law Center, a hateful scam, has been in freefall ever since it purged its founder, who originated the scam. Say what you will about Morris Dees (and as a guy whom the SPLC named as a hate group of one, I’ve had lots to say over the years), but he was a good self-promoter. Post-Dees, the SPLC has become a generic albeit somewhat more professional leftist group caught in its own cancel culture spiral.
The SPLC has been battling its own union which in typical nonprofit fashion is even worse than the group (it endorsed Islamic terror) and has now reportedly cut a quarter of its staff. That’s bigger than it sounds because that’s only about 60 people.
That may take it down to around 400.
The SPLC union claims that SPLC shouldn’t be firing anyone when it has nearly a billion in reserves. I say they should fire everyone and do something useful for a change. Like sell hot dogs.
Currently, the SPLC has a report attacking pro-life groups and is promoting LGBTQ education in the South.
This is a long way from Morris Dees pretending to be Jewish and sending envelopes with Klansmen on them to old ladies asking for money.
The SPLC is another generic leftist group that’s trying to do everything. It really needs to get back to basics and focus on fighting me.

I hate how the SPLC is treated as a legitimate organization and moral group when it’s obviously a hate group.
Major news organizations refer to SPLC hate group list when making references about certain groups. What a laugher!

having a billion in reserve doesnt exactly sound like its a poverty centre . more like a grifters shakedown centre . considering it hates anybody that isnt a color or straight and supports the kkk , seems somewhat of an inappropriate title to call yourself . but then america generally is clueless when it comes to discernment . much like those that voted for biden , 81 mill. we are told because orange man tweet bad . hate is their modus operandi similar to the doj , antifa , blm , im crying in my beer for the dolts who have been given the boot , but then they will be snapped up by any number of useful idiots that will give them a leg up into another job with a philosophy that is the same as the SPLC . those that live in the south and who are genuinely poor wont even get a look in and most certainly wont get any help from the law .
The term non-profit has long been irritating to me. All it really means is that the main focus of the organization isn’t supposedly to make a profit.
–You can be very sure they keep an eye on the bottom number of the accounts ledger
–There are only three options: Lose money (quick death), break even (slow death), make money (stay around)
–If a business focuses on social issues, can they claim non-profit status?
Long past time to tax all these orgs equally. They use government services. Why shouldn’t they pay for it. (I’m also for getting rid of corp taxes altogether which is another form of equal. All taxes are eventually paid by people. Business taxes are just a way to hide it.)
The Wikipedia article on FrontPageMag may have been hammered out by them. It’s dreadful enough.

They abuse our freedoms to force their hate agenda, while trying to demonize and block all other groups who stand for their own rights.

If 1/4 of the staff is 60, the pre-layoffs staff was 240.
