Why are Jewish people so overrepresented in the higher professions? Why have Jews won so many more Nobel Prizes than Muslims even though there are far more Muslims? I am not Jewish. There were not many Jews where I grew up in NY. However, the majority of those Jews were in the honors classes reserved for the top 10% of all students. There were many Jewish students at the college I attended. The emphasis on education could not have been more obvious. Culture matters. When a culture treats women unequally, or has a majority of children being raised by single mothers, things don’t work out so well. Shocking!
