The ‘Monster of Cherbourg’

Another day, another rape by a Muslim of a girl or woman in Europe. There are so many. The latest horror story comes from Cherbourg, with the details to be found here: “‘Monster of Cherbourg’ on trial for raping Frenchwoman Mégane into a month-long coma with broomstick,” Remix News, March 12, 2026:

Known as the “Monster of Cherbourg,” one of the most horrifying accused criminals in France, Oumar Ndiaye, is now facing trial.

Ndiaye has been on trial since Wednesday in the Manche Assize Court. He faces charges of rape, torture, and acts of barbarity.

On Aug. 4, 2023, the then 18-year-old Ndiaye broke into the home of 29-year-old Mégane in Cherbourg-en-Cotentin. Standing at 1.90 meters (6’2″), Ndiaye used his size to overpower the victim, brutally beating her across her body and face.

He then repeatedly raped her, both through sexual intercourse and then with a 29-inch-long broom handle.

Mégane arrived at the hospital with life-threatening internal injuries, including perforations of her colon, small intestine, peritoneum, and diaphragm. She also suffered a collapsed lung and fractured ribs….

Ndiaye had long been a known menace in his neighborhood of Octeville, where residents reported he frequently smoked cannabis and terrorized the community. At only 18, he already featured 17 offenses involving physical assault, theft, and the incestuous sexual assault of his younger sister. Disturbingly, he had been investigated in several previous rape cases, all of which were closed without further action. He now faces a sentence of life in prison.

After 17 offenses including “physical assault, theft, and incestuous sexual assault,” why was it, do you think, that Ndiaye apparently never served time in prison? Why was it that those previous rape cases were “closed without further action”? Are the French police, or the magistrates, simply overwhelmed with a tsunami of such crimes, and have chosen to close the ones thought to be hardest to obtain a conviction? Or was Ndiaye’s age — he was below the age of 18 for most of these crimes — a reason for not giving him any prison time?

According to Le Figaro, the suspect expressed “neither empathy nor remorse” for the crime when he was in police custody.

Why should this Muslim, convinced that he is one of the “best of peoples,” feel remorse for having his way with a non-Muslim girl, one of the “most vile of created beings”? He only regrets that he was caught.

The case also has parallels with numerous other rape cases involving foreigners that Remix News has reported on over the years. In what is one of the most harrowing cases, 9-year-old Swedish girl Luna was raped and strangled into a coma by a 15-year-old Ethiopian classmate with a history of sexual assault and viewing strangulation pornography on school computers. In a long-form piece, Remix News reported how Luna’s family lives with what they describe as a “black hole with no bottom” over the fact that the once lively girl can no longer speak and remains confined to a wheelchair.

In 2015, Germany’s former Chancellor, Angela Merkel, assured her countryman, and by extension all the peoples of Europe, that “wir schaffen das!” — We Can Do This — by which she meant that we Germans can admit millions of Muslims into our midst and successfully integrate them into our societies. And in that year almost a million migrants, overwhelmingly Muslims, were allowed to enter Germany. We know the terrific cost, in every sense, to the Germans. They are now spending more than 36 billion euros a year on all the benefits that their welfare state lavishes on those migrants., including free or subsidized housing, free medical care, free education including language training, family allowances, unemployment benefits even without a work history, and more. We know about the rise in crime that is attributable to Muslims, who make up 7% of the population but more than 30% of the prison population. We know about German women who are no longer going out alone at night because of their fear of attack by Muslims, and about Jews similarly fearful of attack by Muslims, who have hidden the outward signs of their identity and if they are also Israelis, have been careful about not speaking Hebrew in public.

No, Mrs. Merkel. “We” — that is, the people of Europe — “can’t do this.” Muslims have not successfully integrated into any European society. And as their numbers grow, they become still more refractory, still more determined to ensure that their ways, and not those of their hosts, will prevail.

Now let’s see what happens to the “Monster of Cherbourg.” If he gets what he deserves — life in prison — we can then calculate the hundreds of thousands of euros that will be spent on him over that lifetime of incarceration. A huge, unnecessary, and quite avoidable sum, if only he had not been admitted into France in the first place.
