Labor Day is a dubious holiday created by one of the worst presidents in history (obviously a Democrat) and counterintuitively it offers a day off work. (I’m still here hammering away though.) And how better to celebrate not working on Labor Day than by remembering the various Democrats who don’t work.
Democrat states have higher unemployment rates on average and that makes sense since they pay people not to work and because they drive away small businesses so there isn’t any work to be had.
In red states people who don’t work are lazy, in blue states they’re victims.
In liberal cities, not working and signing up for every welfare program under the sun is much more lucrative than getting a job. Working is shameful, but not working is revolutionary.
The Left claims to love the working class, but from Marx to Lenin, its vanguard consists of upper class people who never worked for a living and instead fulminated about their plans for an ideal society (and their hatred of everyone else) for a living.
These days there are entire fields and degrees for those who want to do that sort of thing. And while the DEI racket isn’t as big as it used to be, there are still plenty of cushy corporate gigs that require you to do nothing more than send out the occasional press release about the evils of capitalism, systemic racism and whiteness. Before knocking off for a four o’clock lunch.
In the words of Barack Obama, who once considered a job before deciding to go into politics instead, “why can’t I just eat my waffle?” And in the words of his even greater successor, Joe Biden, “say hello to oyster bunnies.”
And if that just doesn’t say it all, what does?
So next time you’re working, spare a thought for those who can’t and won’t work because they have to go and protest for the whales, Hamas or abortion, or aborting Hamas whales, and keep them in your thoughts while you sweat.
Living the American dream, working hard so others don’t have too.
Thank you – I was once there but retired 8 years ago this month and loving it – SSI is one of my multiple strings of income – I worked for my money and now my money works for me – I detest lazy money – sitting in a savings account earning bupkis – One must be inspired when they are young or at any age to learn about entrepreneurialism and investing. The formula works in our Awesome nation of the USA – as USA goes so goes the world – The only drawback is aging – but that is natural so it’s our MINDSETS that make or break us, uplift us or keep us down, bring forth solutions or leave us on the not so merry-go-round of despair. The laws of attractions are always present so our MINDSETS determine what and who we attract.
We must start on with the premise: We are worthy! Our thoughts and words are powerful. Naysayers are less and less the more and more we progress. And you know what I say to naysayers if I say anything at all? “Here’s a banana, go run up a tree” And you know what naysayers say back to me if they say anything at all: “Woo hoo hoo” like monkeys do.
I retired recently and will qualify for Social Security next July. It may be a pittance but I”ll take it. Who knows how much lucre I paid into it over the years? A lot more than I’ll ever get back, that’s for sure.
And I applied for SSI because I’m pretty fucked up but those scumbags turn down actual disabled people repeatedly. I’m on my second or third appeal. That bitch of a judge obviously hopes I die before I qualify. My lawyer told me she’s corrupt and “ambitious.” Typical public “servant.”
That photo of the Kenyan (Obama) in a tan suit reminded me of the ornaments of Americana that you might see on the wall at a Cracker Barrel restaurant. For the longest time, his preening mug was seen everywhere. Since the Kenyan’s demise, it’s a rarity to sight another prominent “half-white communist sodomite.” However, the species still flourishes, like the elusive “yellow-bellied sapsucker.”
Cracker Barrel recently lost hundreds of millions of bucks because it’s dumb-bitch female CEO decided to ditch its old country store charm. Well she got fired and it has its old logo and little country store in the entrance back.
I like that place. The food is good and the design motif is great.

I have been to Hawaii many times for work and vacation. It is glaring evident there are large number of people who are on a permanent vacation on our dime having a grand old time. They do not work, they have never worked and I suspect they are going into their 3rd generation of never working. I see them every day down at the beaches, surfing playing , drinking, smoking dope, doing meth, fentanyl etc…… Oh, and they are deeply resentful of all us “haoles” who do work. Hawaii is an absurd welfare state and a single mother with multiple kids for instance can gets a so many benefits in every form the state it can amount to over $50,000 a year. Work ? Why work , only chumps work……
What kind of job do you have that sends you to Hawaii and where can I apply.
Shoot, if I lived in Hawaii, I’d be on the beach every day before and after work.
Other than the smoking of weed, the other stuff is derelict.

It’s a little known fact that most Polynesians are assholes. And yes, shiftless. People who grew up on islands where they could just shove their hands into the ocean and get fish or wait for coconuts to fall on their heads didn’t develop strong work ethics.
And breadfruit makes people fat.

I think today’s strains at dispensaries are stronger than that – but no minor should smoke let alone drink.
One should have a fully mature mind and forsaking constipating pain meds, a little THC relieves the pain but most seniors do not go about tripping.

I heard those pot stores have weed that blows away all that Thai stick and Humbolt County stuff that used to be the best. There are quite a few of them here in San Jose (I looked them up) but I’ve never been to one. One of these days, I guess. I have a bag that’s been sitting on my kitchen countertop for a couple months. I found it in my bathroom cabinet when I was looking for something else. I’m not sure which chick left it there or why but I assume she was thoroughly stoned when she did it.

I totally agree with Professor Dan’s premise and thought. People are inspired to action or inaction to hate and love and worse and better by psychic buzz of what comes down from the top.
I retired from law enforcement – I loved the work, I loved the people but the oppression was difficult and injurious to endure. They get you and you in turn after enduring set out to get them while smiling and acting oblivious.
It took 4 years of retirement to start to come down from that – PTSD – you betcha.
But I have my pension and my multiple streams of income and living the American Dream of retirement and good health and goals. No one to give me annual reviews. LoL
I give myself daily reviews but in a more progressive manner.
How did I endure and how do I thrive now? It comes down to personal discipline. That used to be taught in the home in public schools in my era. We saw that growing up. Dads went to work, moms stayed home, them moms and dads went to work when the kids were old enough to save up for their blessed retirement. Accountability, ethics, morals and standards was the expectancy and mindsets.
In the 1950s the tax system favored families where the Dad worked and the Mom took care of the kids. A generous tax deduction for each kid was the key.
In the 1960s the Democrats changed the tax structure to penalize families and favor singles.. like LGBTQ or whatever it is.
Apparently, one odious Democrat did work overtime this weekend in basically glamorizing Palestinian terrorism against Israelis.
