Tucker Carlson recently interviewed Nick Fuentes on his show. During the program, Tucker — unsurprisingly — argued that Israel is bad, wrong, and evil because, among numerous other things, it believes that if you are born Palestinian, you are not human.
This is a vicious and grotesque lie.
Israel does see Palestinians as human — and that is exactly why Israel sacrifices the lives of its young men and women in war to try to spare Palestinian lives (going door-to-door in searches instead of carpet bombing, for example). The IDF’s unprecedented moral efforts on this score are documented here. This is precisely why Hamas uses its own children as human shields — KNOWING that Israel values Palestinian lives, which Hamas and Islam do not.
The real issue in terms of what Tucker is discussing is that Israel gauges a horrific truth in its fight for survival: that from the moment Palestinians are born, a death cult brainwashes and indoctrinates them to hate and kill Jews. That is the issue, and it poses a horrific problem for Israel. That problem is Islam.
Connected to this problem is the sobering reality that Palestinian mothers celebrate their own children’s “martyrdom” — especially when they die in any process that involves the killing of Jews.
We are still waiting for Tucker to devote a show to this particular phenomenon.
All of this explains why Hamas terrorists — and the Palestinian civilians who joined them in the savage attacks in Israel on October 7, 2023 — were ecstatically calling their parents to brag that they had raped/mutilated/killed Jews, and why their parents celebrated in exhilaration upon hearing that news. This “dynamic” is rooted in myriad Qur’anic verses, and in the genocidal Hadith: Sahih Muslim 6985 — a Hadith with which 73% of Palestinians agree.
THIS is the issue that Tucker avoids and distorts. THIS is the issue that Tucker hasn’t had a show about.
Tucker Carlson is also a self-avowed Christian, but he is yet to have a program about the persecution of Christians under Islam, or to have guests such as Robert Spencer, Aynaz Anni Cyrus, and Bosch Fawstin, who can explain to him how and why Islam inspires and sanctions the persecution of Christians and unbelievers.
Tucker has yet to have a show on how Muslims kidnap Christian girls in Pakistan, rape them, and force them to convert to Islam. He is yet to have a discussion on how Islamic texts inspire and sanction these Muslim rapists and kidnappers as they engage in this crime against humanity. He can invite FrontPage Mag contributor Uzay Bulut, who documents these Islamic atrocities, on his show to discuss these aspects of Islam.
He would do these things if he were a Christian who really cares about Christians.
It’s also interesting — if that is the word to use — that as a Christian, Tucker attacks Israel and U.S. support of Israel while completely ignoring the Christian theological perspective of the role Jews play in salvation and in Christ’s return, which Catholic convert and author Roy Schoeman explains and documents in Salvation Is from the Jews: The Role of Judaism in Salvation History from Abraham to the Second Coming.
One wonders what Tucker thinks about the fact that Jesus taught and worshiped in the Temple, and called it “my Father’s house.” (John 7:14; Matthew 21:12–13).
What does Tucker think about the fact that Jesus observed the Sabbath? (Luke 4:16).
What does he think about the fact that the Last Supper was a Passover meal (Seder), and that Jesus and His disciples gathered to commemorate the Exodus from Egypt? (Luke 22:7–15; Matthew 26:17–19).
One also wonders if Tucker will ever invite Brant Pitre onto his show to discuss his book, “Jesus and the Jewish Roots of the Eucharist: Unlocking the Secrets of the Last Supper.”
Maybe during that discussion Tucker can ask Mr. Pitre about Paul’s teaching that God’s covenant and promises to Israel are everlasting and have not been revoked. (Romans 9–11).
Perhaps we shouldn’t hold our breath waiting for answers to these questions – and for these hypothetical developments to transpire.
But the pertinent and pressing question remains: What does all of this say about the real impulses and yearnings that motivate and inspire Mr. Carlson?

I don’t know what changed Tucker. Once he left Fox he showed his true colors and his antisemitism was exposed. Hard to believe he has stopped this low to entertain Nick Fuentes.
Tucker has certainly slipped the bonds of rationality since then. Unfortunately, he is close to Vice President Vance and, witness Vance’s handling of questions related to Israel from a couple of Groypers and his leaving off “Judeo” from when he talked about the Judeo-Christian principles of our civilization, it appears Tucker is having influence on the V-P.
Carlson interviews influential people outside the MSM boundaries. Fuentes is influencial. If you look at Tucker’s website and go through all of his guests, you will see they come from all walks of life and widely divergent viewpoints.
Would it not be better to understand the influence and criticize the reasoning or viewpoint?

Unfortunately, I have familiarized myself with some Islamic doctrines, from English language Islamic sources, and have found it nearly impossible to convince Americans that, 1) these are actual Islamic doctrines;and, 2) that many, if not most, Moslems agree with and practice them. All they ever say is something stupid like “Well the Bible says to stone adulterers” completely ignoring that, due to the Enlightenment and Reformation, we don’t do that anymore. Best of luck with your book, though. I certainly hope that you will be more successful in explaining Islam than I have been.

There is legitimate debate what role Israel and Jews play in Christian theology. I tend to think there is a big role, but I also don’t support Isreal no matter what. To say is Israel is “insignificant” in the geopolitical sense as Tucker often does is preposterous and makes me question his honesty and his intelligence. I’ve also noticed his ilk make excuses for every violent muslim group and every muslim atrocity. To them every single muslim rape, murder, and massacre happens because either the CIA or the Jews made them do it.

I might be in the minority here, but I don’t believe Tucker is a Jew hater in any way. I’ve heard Tucker speak many times and he has always stated he would never make blanketed about any group. Everyone should be judged as an individual. I think he has valid criticisms of Israel. He asks valid questions. Don’t we, as Americans, question our politicians and our government officials? Look how corrupt so many of our politicians are. How much fraud and waste have been discovered while politicians get rich. There is much confusion about the Christian perspective of Jews. I am unclear about where Tucker is coming from, but it appears that he is ignoring the Abrahamic Covenant. This promises blessings on those who bless Israel, and curses those who curse Israel. History is the greatest illustration of this.
Most Evangelicals hold the Jews in high regard because they also read and study the Old Testament. Many Evangelicals love the Jews and consider them as the chosen of the Old Testament.
The current antisemitic viewpoint is based on ignorance of the sacred scriptures. Antisemitism began in the children of Abraham, Jacob and Esau. It continued with Isaac and Ishmael. Supersessionist Christians cannot nullify the Old Testament promises to Israel and at the same time maintain a doctrine of scripture inspiration. If language means anything at all, it’s pretty clear that these covenants and promises apply to a certain people and place. If they don’t mean what they clearly seem to mean, then the Word has been “revealed” in a very muddy, unclear, or even incompetent manner. At least this is what seems, to me, to be the case. I’ve tried to read things on both sides of this issue, and every time I balance out the arguments the supercessionist position seems very weak and based on assumptions that are easily refuted. One does not have to be a dispensationalist to see this.

There is another myth floating around that has the conservative anti-Jews coming out . The idea that the Ashkenazi Jews of Europe were not real Jews because the Khazars claimed to be Jewish even though they weren’t, the so called name stealers, and the Ashkenazi are really Khazars. Per this theory the Khazars are the true identity of the Ashkenazi Jews of Europe. They use this theory to say the Jews in Israel are not real Jews due to the immigration of the Ashkenazi to Israel. They through in the bait that the Rothschilds are really Khazars to get folks interested. Many Christian and conservative websites took this and ran with it. Trying to justify why we need to not support Israel because the Jews there are name stealers not real Jews. You see it on blogs now or comment sections of websites discussing Israel. This Khazars theory is incorrect and not supported by the junk the anit-Jewish conservatives use. Robert Spencer has even shown it to be false. And today in Israel the majority of Jews are not Ashkenazi, they are Sephardic.

I listened to the whole interview, and at no point did Carlson say ALL Jews or ALL Palestinians. In fact, he specifically stated condemning entire groups based on ethnicity is wrong. Glazov is straight up lying, AND proving Fuentes point, ANYONE QUESTIONING ANYTHING JEWISH IS DESTROYED AND BRANDED ANTI SEMITIC. That alone is enough to question Israel, if you’re a thinking person. I honor Jews, and Israel, for our shared Biblical history and western values, NOT for their religious views, which rejects Jesus, which as a Christian, I cannot. True, but as a Catholic, if you voice opinions on a matter, especially in the public forum, you are under an obligation to look for the truth. And where it is relevant to the opinions you voice, you are also obliged to acquaint yourself with Catholic ethics, including Just War theory.
According to the Ten Commandments first, you must not bear false witness against your neighbour (and Our Lord gave this word a very expansive reading, as you know). So people who charge Israel with being an “apartheid state”, for example, are either lying in the straightforward sense, or lying indirectly, by repeating the lies of others while failing to acquaint themselves with the evidence upon which that matter would be decided (there is copious evidence against the accusation, and no evidence in favor).
Or Bethlehem, where Christians have become a small minority, even though the town was formerly majority-Christian. I then hear Christians in the US, UK and Europe accuse Israel of persecuting Christians to bring about this change in Bethlehem. But who has replaced the Christians? Jews? No – Muslims. And Bethlehem, as the accusers fail to mention (or don’t bother to check) has been under the administration of the “Palestinian Authority” for the past three decades.
Accusations made through a failure to ascertain the facts rather than by the knowing statement of falshoods are still lies. The speaker is purporting to tell the truth, but is in fact indifferent to the truth. This is not what any Catholic should be doing.
In Catholic ethics, there is a category of “uniting the will with evil”, which specifically concerns matters of opinon. By this reasoning, which is a part of Catholicism, you can be guilty of uniting your will with evil even where your words (or thoughts) will have negligible effect on outcomes.

On the matter of the supposed “genocide” in Gaza, Catholic Just War teaching also comes into play, on top of the previous considerations (much of this teaching was absorbed into the Geneva Conventions). Even when a party to a war has entered into that war on a just basis (such as self-defense, which was undeniably the case for Israel in 2023), it is still morally obliged to conduct itself justly, which among other things, rules out any policy of deliberatly attacking civilians, and making an attempt to minimize civilian casualties. Israel not only complies with these restrictions, but even does far more than is morally required, such as providing the enemy population with electricity, allowing food convoys to feed the enemy population, risking (and losing) its own soldiers’ lives to search for terrorists building by building, rather than carrying out a Dresden carpet bombing, and sending millions of notifications (phone calls, SMS) to warn civilians to evacuate buildings that terrorists are using to launch missiles on Israeli cities and towns.
To accuse Israel, against all the evidence, of “genocide” is therefore a sin of lying (whether directly or through culpable negligence), and also a rejection of Catholic Just War teaching.
