As an award winning filmmaker who has fought for children’s rights in the legal sphere for many years, I’m appalled by Tucker Carlson’s disgusting and disingenuous use of child soldiers to score political points. As if it wasn’t bad enough that he fabricated being “interrogated” by the Israeli airport, and publicly defamed Israeli president Herzog, falsely accusing him of having association with Epstein, but he also exploits the devastating trend of Hamas recruiting children — not to condemn Hamas, but to somehow smear Israel for not allowing teenage jihadis to murder and maim Israeli civilians.
The entire reason that this is even a discussion point is because jihadist terror groups like Hamas actively recruit children as young as five years old to join the jihad and sacrifice their lives for martyrdom. I have witnessed this firsthand when I filmed my award-winning film, The Making of a Martyr. Hamas, Al Aqsa, Islamic Jihad etc all have recruitment sessions at schools, summer camps for small children, and they recruit them to the movement as early as five years old. The reason this is a tragedy and a crime against humanity is because it destroys the children and their future as well as the future of that society. Tragically, Gaza isn’t a civilized society.
When I sat down to film my movie, I remember I filmed two IDF soldiers, who were brothers. I asked them if a terrorist was running at you holding a child as a human shield and shooting at you, what would you do? One of the brothers said that he could not shoot and would rather die, the other brother said, of course he would shoot because the terrorist is responsible. This is the split-second decision making that you cannot afford on the battlefield. This is why they use children, to play in the most disgusting way on the humanity of soldiers of civilized nations.
The legal onus is not on Israel or the United States or any other group that is fighting against jihadist terror, the onus is on the jihadist organisations that put weapons in their hands, because the alternative means the deaths of more civilians, including by the way, other children as we saw on October 7th.
The person who puts a child in harms way knowingly, is 100% legally responsible for the foreseeable result. If you use children as human shields, as child soldiers, and as child suicide-homicide bombers, you are committing a crime against those children. The reason why terrorist organizations use children is so they can engage in a lawfare attack against the states that are combating them on an asymmetric battlefield. It is the sickest and most disgusting form of terrorism. Tucker and his narrative are fueling the use of children by justifying it and playing into the hands of the terrorist groups who want you to believe in their twisted legal arguments that they are able to recruit children and when they die, it’s somehow not their fault.
As an attorney I can assure you that an under-age member of a terrorist organisation who is actively engaged in combat is (tragically) a legal target when that child has been sent to kill others and is putting others in imminent danger. The party legally responsible for the child’s death is the terrorist group that recruited him/her. Tucker Carlson of course knows this, but he wants YOU to believe otherwise because that benefits his ulterior motives and his whitewashing of Islamist terror and supremacy.
I applaud Ambassador Huckabee for his steadfast composure in the face of such utterly clownish bigotry and dishonesty.

During his interview with Ambassador Huckabee, when I heard Tucker refer to Wikipedia, which was once a valid encyclopedia, as though it is a reliable source today, I remembered an interview with Larry Sanger, one of its cofounders. He left the company because it became a political tool for radicals. It’s no longer the source it once was; free speech on Wikipedia only belongs to the DEI crowd. I could hardly believe it when I heard that Tucker trusts in what Wikipedia has become. Some people have turned from their search for the truth to their search for what they want to believe. It’s the apostasy of journalism.

Yes, Tucker Carlson seems to be imploding like Candace Owens has. I saw that interview clip with Ambassador Huckabee and thought the same thing Huckabee did. Any fourteen year old jihad terrorist pointing a gun at people needs to be shot dead on the spot. And we all know the only people they point guns at are Jews, although they’d love to shoot Americans too, regardless of ethnicity.
Black fourteen year olds shoot people in Chicago, what, every week? They deserve to be shot dead too. I’m like the sensible IDF brother, not the one handicapped by empathy for little monsters. I wouldn’t hesitate to kill a punk who were to try and shoot me. Fourteen year old monsters grow up to be adult monsters and if they’re already shooting people at age it’s too late for them. They need to be killed for the benefit of society.
Tucker still does have some good interviews, and one can sympathize somewhat with his isolationist views (without fully agreeing with him). And he still bangs the gong when it comes to deep state corruption, which is good and necessary, but on some things he is just very far out there, and cannot be taken seriously. A strange and VERY mixed bag.

I used to admire Carlson immensely. But something has “snapped” in his sick mind.
For him now to insist (as he incredibly does in this exchange with Mike Huckabee) that a 14-year-old terrorist pointing a gun at an IDF or American commando sent to rescue a hostage that the 14-year-old is holding “can’t” be justifiably shot dead, and that the IDF or American soldier should instead allow himself to be shot dead rather than neutralize the “child” terrorist, is an outrageous obscenity.
Carlson has done a 180 from what he used to be–or maybe pretended to be for years, and has descended into literal madness for the Other Side–the Side of the Terrorists and the Destroyers not just of Israel, but of Western Civilization itself.
I curse, revile, and damn him for that. He is not just insane, but obscene, and now a full-fledged Enemy.

If I was a cop working in a crime infested ghetto and a 14 yr old gang banger pulled a gun on me I’m going to kill him. If I was an IDF soldier and a 14 yr old pointed a gun at me I’m going to kill him. Would it be horrifying? Yes. But, if it comes down to my life, or a 14 yr old’s life I plan on living.
You can certainly find things to criticize Israel for, or the IDF. This isn’t one of them. A 14 yr old Hamas operative is no different than a 25 yr old Hamas operative.
All Hamas members and supporters are subhuman and deserve to die for the benefit of humanity. It should be a sport. People could pay to go on Hamas hunting safaris in the Gaza Strip. This is what happens to a spoiled rich boy who never really had to work too hard for a living.
No issue in the Tucker / Huckabee interview was brought up and maintained to a conclusion or adequate answer. This is likely because Huckabee was unable, through Tucker’s many interruptions, to unpack his arguments or bring consistent facts to support his assertions. Bunny trails galore, but not a lot of light and I do fault Tucker for his failure to allow Huckabee to speak and unpack his assertions without interruption. Tucker seemed rattled and unsettled. Huckabee seemed sincerely frustrated and perplexed.
This was especially frustrating because Tucker’s pre-interview monologue on his website says he is going to Israel to get “answers to questions no one will answer.” And all of the questions were and are of existential importance.

So true. Interesting how moral a psychopathic enemy becomes when faced with those who will defend themselves, without limitations, against predators. If you’re a child groomed as a violent predator, a potential victim of this violent predation has every right to destroy them.

Why? I understand being disappointed, yes, but deeply saddened?
Are you their family? Do they know or care who you are?

Tucker Carlson would do well to take heed regarding his own credibility by remember the famous Latin saying “Falsus in uno, Falsus in Omnibus” which translated into English means “False in One Thing, False in Everything”. He is no longer to be trusted in reporting the truth. Talk about the self immolation of one’s career! Classic example.

I didn’t understand the point of view that Carson posited until I saw the interview with Huckabee. As I recall, a few months ago Carlson said that he did not know much about the Bible, but he was working on that. The questions that Carlson is asking is who the Jews are. His objections could have been settled if he understood that Abraham was the first person of the race of Jews. He kept hounding Huckabee to define who the Jews were. He questioned the heritage of Netanyahu as if it mattered that his family was from Eastern Europe. He is still a Jew and just because his family was in the diaspora at one time, his heritage was in question.
What bothered me is that Carlson appeared to be very nervous and confused. He wasn’t his confident self. I wonder if he Is really stepping out without a safety net or is he defending his false presuppositions? It is apparent that he was infuriated by Israel’s destruction of Gaza. It was a clumsy as someone sympathizing with Japan because America destroyed their nation. His arguments are futile and without knowledge of Israel. Why is he willing to die on that hill?
It shows us how vulnerable those who lack knowledge can be. Perhaps he should take time out of his busy schedule to study the Old Testament and educate himself. Currently he is making a jackass out of himself. It is sad to see.

A 14 year old who has been turned into a soldier mentally and trained to kill whatever enemy and is armed is an enemy combatant.
Tucker admitted that if his own children were being held as hostages (as the Israeli’s were) he would not kill a 14 yr old enemy combatant to save them. Sorry kids I can’t save you because there’s a 14 yr old soldier and I can’t shoot him.
Of course Carlson would machine-gun down a 14-year-old who tried to get anywhere near HIS own kids, without blinking an eye.
