Last week’s social media story of Tucker Carlson flying on a private jet to Israel for a few hours just to do a combative ‘interview’ with Ambassador Mike Huckabee at the airport, fake an ‘incident’ in which Tucker pushed a story to one of his ex-employees at the Daily Mail claiming that he’d been seized by Israeli security (video released shows that didn’t happen) while also alleging that he was afraid Israel would shoot down his private jet (he could have just flown commercial, but that’s for little people) seemed like a weird senseless Twitter bubble.
But social media isn’t just social media and the whole thing has the hallmarks of an international information operation involving foreign governments.
Why charter a private jet to fly to Israel, never leave the airport, just to release a distorted version of an interview with a U.S. ambassador full of lies and bizarre claims: one of which Tucker already had to walk back?
It helps if you understand that Tucker Carlson is just a means to an end.
The timing of the interview comes in the middle of internal debates within the Trump administration about whether to make a deal with Iran or take down the regime. Huckabee was targeted because he’s seen as one of the people opposed to an Obama Deal 2.0. Tucker has argued that it’s fine if Iran gets a nuclear bomb, that Islam and Sharia are good things, and that “diversity is our strength”. These are the opposite of the things that Tucker claimed to believe a few years ago, but we already learned from his previously released text messages that he violently hated Trump even while pretending to like him and praise him on FOX News.

Who’s the real Tucker? Frankly, who cares. This is an industry where people play roles. And no talking head should really be assumed to be authentic. More important than what Tucker really believes, is what he’s doing, and that points us toward who he’s working for.
The Huckabee interview was quickly followed by a joint statement by the Saudis, Qatar and other Muslim countries condemning him based on a distorted clip. All of it preceded by mass attacks from Qatar’s Al Jazeera.
That is the part where you can see the puppet strings on the puppet and understand the information war.
The theatrics around the interview were just meant to garner publicity for the interview and, more importantly, for the next step, the coordinated response by the Islamic enemy nations pressuring Trump.
Everything else was just meant to focus Trump’s attention and our attention.
That’s how information operations work. Tucker did his best and has earned his house in Qatar, the constant appearances at Muslim conferences and whatever investments he’s managed to pick up. Sure he had to sell his soul and ally with America’s enemies, but he delivered for them. And what he delivered was us.
Our attention. Tucker made a show as a setup for the Qatari press release as part of an effort to marginalize Huckabee and conservatives within the Trump administration in favor of Koch hirelings who want an Iran deal.
The level of foreign manipulation of social media is reaching new levels of sophistication. It’s something we’ll need to deal with if we don’t just want to replace the mainstream media with mainstream media personalities working for Islam.

My question is how real his audience is? Are his followers mostly real or AI bots generated by the same people financing his psuops?
Tucker’s audience comes from the Middle East and North Africa.
Posed photo events the handshake between Rabin and Arafat with Clinton overlooking the whole thing
Yes and that day foreshadowed a jihad terrorist campaign that the Psuedostinians are still waging against dem Joos. It gave Arafag cover and time to consolidate his forces, just like President Trump’s Board of Peace will do for Hamas if it’s implemented.
Psuedostinians!!
Genius!
So stealing that! 😉
i wish Huckabee did not do the interview (what could go wrong?) but I’d like to know if Trump asked him to do it.Oh, never mind. I think Trump did ask and we should ignore TC like the plague.
Yes but who knew Carlson would behave so irrationally and dishonestly? As if he would refuse to shoot a fourteen year old jihadi if the terrorist had a gun pointed at any of his adult offspring.
I guess his lie about mistreatment by Israeli authorities authorities was a clue but after having seen his show on Fox many times in the past I wouldn’t have suspected he be such a dumbass.
Of course, I haven’t watched Fox News in six years because I dumped cable and that retarded secretary posing as CEO of Fox News fired him over two years ago so I don’t know what he’s like now.
But I will still comment even though I have no idea what I’m talking about…..
Irony is lost on retards.
“The level of foreign manipulation of social media is reaching new levels of sophistication.”
There’s nothing new here. Tucker is just a reincarnation of a Walter Duranty, Whittaker Chambers, or Albert Rhys Williams.
Whittaker Chambers?
Whittaker Chambers? He’s the one who blew the whistle on liars who pretended the threat isn’t real.
It’s hard to know with THX1138, but he may have been referring to an early period in Chambers’ life, when he was a member of the Communist Party and I believe wrote for The Daily Worker.
Thank you. Precisely.
William F. Buckley asked G. Gordon Liddy if Whittaker Chambers ought to be despised by fellow American colleagues. Liddy said, “Yes.”
The world Liddy had just left back then, prison, informers were the lowest of the low. The interview can be seen on YT.
He isn’t like any of those people were.
Tucker is Owen Lattimore 2.0.
Not that I don’t enjoy seeing you straw-manning Tucker Carlson, but “social media isn’t just social media”? Really, Daniel?
If social media were just social media, they wouldn’t manipulate their platforms to the far left and retards wouldn’t consider them news sources.
Trollfail as usual, Dickporn.
From a NmWorld article:
“Huckabee…in an interview with…Carlson…Carlson said that according to the Bible, the descendants of Abraham would receive land that today would include essentially the entire Middle East, including parts of modern-day Jordan, Syria, Iraq and Lebanon. He quoted from Genesis Chapter 15 and asked Huckabee if Israel had a right to that land.”
“Huckabee responded: “It would be fine if they took it all.”
I was disappointed, but not surprised at Huckabee’s answer.
Huckabee should have said: “Israel will have a right to that land when God gives it to them, and He IS going to give it to them!
Ezekiel 36:24 “…I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.”
Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and Iraq are in the Near East, not the Middle east, and the only reason it wouldn’t be fine if Israel took them all is because they’re all inhabited by scum that Israel would be stuck with. It would be even worse than America taking Mexico. MUCH worse.
Of course, the difference between what could happen now and what will happen then, over there, is that the King of kings and Lord of lords will be ruling, here on earth in Jerusalem.
Though He will be ruling in “the midst of thine enemies,” there will be no nonsense and shenanigans.
Who’s the real Tucker? A modern day Patent Medicine Salesman who instead of traveling from town to town in a horse drawn wagon flies hither and yon across the world in a private jet selling his wares to the highest bidder or if you prefer another analogy, a media whore who sells his assets to a select group of johns regardless of the risk of contracting an STD in this case a raging case of anti-Semitism.
I wonder how anyone can take seriously a “journalist” that has psychotic laughter episodes every ten minutes during an interview.
As a bible believing Christian, I support Israel. And I don’t know what has happened to Tucker.
He is behaving oddly in public lately.
I’m not sure if Tucker claims to be a Bible believer (Christian). I think he does, doesn’t he? Anyway, Huckabee missed an opportunity to PERHAPS help Tucker understand what better what’s going on in the Bible.
But, it appears Huckabee himself doesn’t understand, more correctly, what is going on in the Bible, with, truly, all due respect to him. On the subject of Israel, as far as the Bible is concerned, II Tim 2:15 and Romans chapters 9 thru 11 would be a very good place to start. And it must be read in the KJB with no apologies.
Excellent analysis by Daniel.
Yes, it makes me wonder if Carlson was a willing participant in the schemes of the oil Geeikhdoms or a dupe. It’s obvious from their instant and pre-planned reactions and Carlson’s now clear antipathy for Israel and affinity for the subhumans of Hamas that it was one or the other. He obviously believes the KGB/Arab League fiction that Psuedostinians are a real ethnicity and people. That means he was the right man for the job.
But I don’t think it was about the mullahs in Iran. The oil Geeikhdoms hate Iran and Persians (close to 80% of the Iranian population) and not so secretly want President Trump to take the mullahs out. I think it was about Trump’s asinine Peace Board and control over its agenda. The Geeikhdoms hate the Psuedostinians as much as everybody else besides Western leftists do but they make excellent propaganda pawns and Jew killers for islam. They want to smear Israel internationally and weaken its influence, sovereignty and defense capability…….as always. They rightly see Trump’s foolish “Peace” Board as yet another instrument to try and clear the Jews from their homeland by any means necessary but preferably through genocide.
There are 1.5 billion Muslims.
No, there aren’t nearly that many. The islamopithecines lie about their numbers even worse than the CCP does.
Huckabee should not have taken the interview.
Who was he going to persuade?
It was an opportunity to lose, lose big, or really bleeping f.u. current diplomacy …
with military assets hanging in the balance.
So tired of our side making unforced errors.
That said, his responses were not too bad. If this was just an argument with Youtubers on Youtube, Huckabee’s comments were fine – not great – but fine.
I only watched the clip where Carlson got pissy about the hypothetical scenario of blowing away a fourteen year old Hamas jihadi terrorist about to murder an innocent victim, but I agree that Huckabee shouldn’t have taken an interview like that, not from anybody.
But then President Trump’s Board of Peace is idiotic on the face of it. I have no idea what he’s up to but I pray the Board isn’t really what it’s presented as and he doesn’t give it $10 billion bucks. There can be no peace with the Psuedostinians and never could be. The entire notion is idiotic and has been a failure since 1921 when the so called Arabs in the British Palestine Mandate tried to annihilate the Jewish population. The subhumans have been at it ever since but as you know, it really kicked into overdrive in 1948, when Israel declared independence.
Peace with moslems in Israel is a stupid fantasy. Peace with them anywhere is a stupid fantasy. Their death cult of Mo-ham-mad is inimical to coexistence with humanity. I don’t consider islam a human dogma although I suppose moslems are technically human. The most debased form of humanity possible. They aren’t civilized though, and never will be.
Some of us have seen through Tucker Carlson for more than a decade.
Something didn’t “happen” to him. As Daniel Greenfield perfectly stated, Tucker is employed in an industry “where people play roles.” And Carson’s role is determined by the source of income currently bankrolling his narrative.
Ben Shapiro called it for what it is during his Amfest speech. The gift is no longer incognito.
We see you Tucker. We see right through you.
Every time you hear Tucker say “I’m no expert but” or “I’m not very smart but” or “I’m just asking the question” or “It seems odd that x and y” you know he is about to lie, and that is just about all the time.
Talk about change in “climate”! Originally a breath of fresh air, Tucker suddenly went off the rails with gratuitous Jew hatred (can’t remember just when). I immediately wrote and told him I was terribly disappointed, cancelled my support and just tuned him out. Given the incessant volume of material to sift through, I can’t say I’ve missed him. It is a shame, nonetheless. At the outset, he had much promise; it’s hard to understand.
An intelligent person has to have some internal logical consistency. Or be a liar.
