The media kept describing footage of Biden stumbling or stumbling over words as ‘cheapfakes’. Meanwhile the media has done plenty of actual faking.
This particular incident is notable because it comes from a foreign government. The BBC is state media. UK residents are obligated to fund it with a license fee. The UK has passed laws forcing smart TVs to prioritize the ‘Beeb’ and its propaganda.
So this particular incident is notable because it’s not just the work of a biased media, but the work of hostile state media.
The BBC “doctored” a Donald Trump speech by making him appear to encourage the Capitol Hill riot, according to an internal whistleblowing memo seen by The Telegraph.A Panorama programme broadcast a week before the US election “completely misled” viewers by showing the president telling supporters he was going to walk to the Capitol with them to “fight like hell”, when in fact he said he would walk with them “to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard”.The “mangled” footage was highlighted in a 19-page dossier on BBC bias which was compiled by a recent member of the BBC’s standards committee and is now circulating in government departments.The dossier said the programme made the US president “‘say’ things [he] never actually said” by splicing together footage from the start of his speech with something he said nearly an hour later.The report said that Panorama’s “distortion of the day’s events” was so egregious that viewers would ask: “Why should the BBC be trusted, and where will this all end?”
The UK needs its own reforms, but from the American perspective, there are compelling reasons why we should not allow the BBC, Al Jazeera and other hostile state media into the United States.
Foreign propaganda should not be carried by American cable networks.

Well, don’t watch cable. I ditched mine six years ago and haven’t looked back. Cable news sucks. I have four free news networks on my Samsung menu that are very good. Fox News Network blows.
There are so many free channels on a Samsung TV that I have no hope of keeping up with them.
My wife watches cable TV but I prefer watching what’s available via the internet which far exceeds what’s on “regular” cable TV. As for news and info,
I’d rather read it for myself rather than watch and listen to some blow dried bimbo or lowbrow pretty boy read it to me.
Personally, I find that insulting. I’m not some illiterate mutt who needs to have the news read & explained to me nor interpreted for me.

The CBC here in Canada did the same thing to Pierre Poilievre, the leader of the Conservative party. Outright denied it happened, then said it was an accident…when they could no longer deny it. Proof showed the cuts and re-arranging of several words from different parts of his speech. Never did admit it was deliberate, even after overwhelming proof surfaced. Ontario Premier and Mark Carney groupie, just did the same thing with Regan’s tariff speech, to make him say the opposite of what he actually said. The CBC still deny the manipulation and out of context editing.

No one watches CBC except government employees and old fools. Govt stats claim 3% of Canadians watch CBC for 2 minutes or more a day. The CBC gets $1.4 billion taxpayers’ money annually. CBC’s former CEO ($480,000 a year plus bonuses) lived in NYC and jetted in to CBC meetings in Canada.

CBC has more than 250 directors, 450 managers and 780 producers, 130 advisers, 81 analysts, 120 hosts, 80 project leads, 30 lead architects, 25 supervisors, among other positions, who were paid more than $100,000.
Conservative Poilievre vowed to defund the CBC and lost the election to Carney who claimed the CBC was “underfunded” and gave it $millions upon election as PM for propaganda services rendered. CBC is a branch of the Liberal Party of Canada and it’s most “popular” expensive tv series no one watches is “a sitcom about Sabi Mehboob, a non-binary millennial [brown pig in a wig] child of Pakistani [muslim] immigrants who works as a bartender at an LGBTQ bookstore and cafe”.
My great-grandparents all came from Scotland to Toronto after WW1 so I’m 4th generation “Canadian” which gives me the right to proclaim the truth that Canada is a failed state 3rd world corrupt woke socialist islamic shithole and if I could escape to the U.S.A. What the BBC and most American news outlets are engaging in is called subliminal programming and it’s very effective. Most if not all gullible people who are media addicts hate Trump but can’t cite any legitimate reason why other than what they’ve been programmed to think and believe on a subconscious level. The media engages in subliminal programming 24/7/365 without most people even realizing it.
With few exceptions, most people are vulnerable to subliminal programming. A good psychologist or a hypnotist understands the subject of subliminal programming and how to use it.

A video from years ago appeared to show cops, immediately upon their arrival, shooting a young subject wielding a replica gun. A lengthy middle segment, during which they begged the boy to drop the weapon, was neatly excised.
