Not Hamas or Al Qaeda flags. Obviously. The bad kind of flags. The flags of England.
After a rash of incidents of the flags of England being flown in public and police officers being caught on video seizing them or otherwise removing those flying them, the Sussex police have a statement.
“In less fractious times, seeing your flag normally instils feelings of belonging and pride,” Sussex Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) Katy Bourne said. “It is clear, however, that in some places, the appearance of flags is making some communities feel deliberately targeted and intimidated. That may or may not be the intention of those putting the flags up but it is clearly creating anxiety and potential flashpoints.”
“Local authorities have reported that their staff and contractors have been abused and threatened when removing flags from council property – mainly for safety reasons and to prevent potential breaches of the peace.”
We are aware of the recent increase in the displaying of flags across Sussex and the impact it is having on our communities.
Recognising there are varied motivations for people’s decision to display flags, we cannot ignore that their presence is creating different feelings amongst the public.
We know from our ongoing community engagement, some people feel intimidated and targeted – not by the flag itself, but by the perceived motivation for its display. For these reasons, we would like to provide clarity on the police response so the public understand our position.
Then they go on to explain how they’ll crack down on flags. (Not Islamic flags obviously. Perish the thought.)
Police said people feel “intimidated and targeted” as St George’s flags continue to appear across the county.
Over the last few months, St George’s flags have appeared across the country as part of a national movement called “Operation Raise the Colours.”
James MacCleary, MP for Lewes, reported last week that some of his constituents felt “intimidated walking to the shops or taking their kids to school”, which he said was “appalling.”
“It is time for these flags to come down,” he added.
And the flags of Pakistan to fly instead.
But while the police will scurry off to stop flags from being flown, they’ll do nothing about Muslim sex grooming gangs and Hamas rallies.
So irritating that people don’t know what flags are for. In ground battles they tell troops where to rally after a combat melee. Ships at sea signify what country they belong to. Etc., etc.
When you cannot fly your own country’s flag in your own country you have lost your country.
I couldn’t agree more, we have been slowly taken over by Marxist / Islamic groups, they are trying to conquer our county.

The pure witlessness of this situation, the cowardice (on the part of politicians, police, etc.), the squash of civic/country pride is nearly unbelievable. Nearly. Who cut off England’s collective nuts?

See, back when England was the greatest imperial and colonial power on earth the article would have read, “the natives are getting restless” however, we live in more civilized times.

The erstwhile UK exists in name only. Nowadays it’s just a figment of the imaginations of the people who can’t accept the fact that the UK is effectively a defunct country.
The tragedy of it is that no one took the Brits country from them. Instead, they acquiesced, capitulated and ceded their country to the Islamic invaders.

When you can’t raise your own flag in your country, it’s not your country anymore. Britain has fallen.
Well, maybe the “communities” that feel “deliberately targeted and intimidated” by the public display of the flag of England in England should just sod off. Just sayin’.
Just like here in the US, if you don’t like what’s going on then go back to the sewer you oozed out of.

I was raised in Balkans and was taught that the true definition of Nation is reflected in heroic days of Battle for Britain.
I really believed in it and upheld that notion well into my old age.
Rather than mourn while British people are extinguished without a whimper, perhaps it is the time to remember why we all do speak English today.
I am not a British (just a Slav), but stand ready to defend everything that the true Britain did stand for.
Raise up – you will discover quickly that you are not alone.
If you are offended the flag of the nation you are living in, you should leave that nation and go to one whose flag makes you feel more comfortable.
Of course, the flag is not the issue. It’s simply the last symbol of a nation that permits rape gangs free range. Banning the flag and other symbols of nationhood is just the victor shoving the fact of slavery harder into the faces of the conquered.
I think I heard the term “pansy” in an English movie or TV show. I think at this point it applies to
the British government, not the British people.
But don’t the British people vote for the British government? Maybe they should vote someone else into power.
In the UK – your enemies are not necessarily the muzzies – it is the Government that has allowed them to invade your country while removing your rights of defense.
I hope you loyal Brits rise up and crush those who would enslave and kill you no matter what their nationality is.

Raise those flags anyway. Gandhi and Martin Luther King Jr showed the unstoppable power of the people fully engaging in acts of civil disobedience.
If all of England continues to raise their flags, the enemy (their leaders) may imprison some and find ways to punish others. But they won’t be able to stop the juggernaut that has risen against them.
