Order Robert Spencer’s new book, Holy Hell: Islam’s Abuse of Women and the Infidels Who Enable It: HERE.
An RAF cadet has been suspended for thoughtcrime. The Daily Mail reported Saturday that the offending wrongthinker gained this suspension “after he said Islam poses the greatest security threat to the UK while taking part in a training exercise.” Retired rear admiral Chris Parry, who objected to the poor devil’s suspension, noted in passing that “if this cadet had answered ‘the far-Right’ I doubt he would have been suspended.” Indeed. And so the enforced fantasy and wishful thinking still prevail.
The cadet’s inexcusable wrongthink not only got him suspended; it “led to him being kicked off the officer-training course, pending an investigation.” The British air force has actually “launched a probe into the young cadet’s remarks at RAF Cranwell, where the next generation of officers are trained.”
Indignant, Parry “accused the air force of shutting down the ‘critical thinking’ of new officers around controversial issues and said the cadet should be reinstated.” He explained that if he had been teaching the class where the outrageous, offensive remark had been made, he would have handled it quite differently: “If I’d asked that question and got that answer I would have also asked the cadet to expand on his thinking and got some critical thinking going rather than suspend him.”
What Parry termed “critical thinking” was actually the enforcement of the British political and media establishment’s preferred fictions. “Clearly,” he said with a confidence that his ignorance did not justify, “Islamic extremism is the issue and not Islam, but how are young people expected to develop critical thinking around these complex issues if they are shut down in this way?”
Well, sure. British authorities should indeed not shut down honest discussion of the nature and magnitude of the threat of Islamic jihad and Sharia. At very least, this poor fellow’s suspension should be lifted long enough for Rear Admiral Parry to try to explain to him what he thinks is the difference between “Islam” and “Islamic extremism.”
“We know,” Parry said, again displaying a confidence that was as unshakeable as it was unjustified, “that Islam is not a threat, rather it is extremist elements, and this appears to have been a missed opportunity to discuss that for fear of causing offence.”
Could Parry actually show from mainstream Islamic theological sources the difference between Islam and “Islamic extremism”? Could he show us a sect or school of Islamic jurisprudence that is not political, supremacist, expansionist, and violent, and a Muslim-majority country that has implemented a vision of Islam that allows for non-Muslims to be granted rights equal to those granted to Muslims?
The answer to both questions is no. Parry could not do either one of those things, because what he considers to be “Islamic extremism” is actually mainstream Islam. Majid Khadduri, an internationally renowned Iraqi scholar of Islamic law, explains that “the Islamic state, whose principal function was to put God’s law into practice, sought to establish Islam as the dominant reigning ideology over the entire world. … The jihad was therefore employed as an instrument for both the universalization of religion and the establishment of an imperial world state.” Khadduri was talking about mainstream Islamic theology, not “extremism.” So is Islam the problem?
In a similar vein, in his 1994 book The Methodology of Ijtihad, Imran Ahsan Khan Nyazee, an assistant professor on the faculty of Sharia and Law of the International Islamic University in Islamabad, quotes the twelfth century Maliki jurist Ibn Rushd: “The primary goal of the Muslim community, in the eyes of its jurists, is to spread the word of Allah through jihad.” Iran’s former President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad once stated this idea a bit more crudely: “Have no doubt … Allah willing, Islam will conquer what? It will conquer all the mountain tops of the world.”
Some would contend that Ahmadinejad was an “extremist,” but he was president of the Islamic Republic of Iran from 2005 to 2013. Some claim that the Islamic Republic of Iran is itself “extremist,” but that argument is hard to sustain in light of the fact that it has held power for 47 years and counting without anyone inside or outside Iran explaining in any detail how it is misunderstanding or misapplying Islamic doctrine and Islamic law.
These truths, however, are forbidden to enunciate today in shattered, staggering, dhimmi Britain, as the suspension of this cadet illustrates. When reality is too hard to take, and would indict the policies of too many politicians, it must simply be ignored.

Robert Spencer, along with Dr. Jay Smith (Pfanderfilms, Veritas University), Al Fahdi (CIRA International), and David Wood (Apologetics Roadshow, DW and AP), have been doing yeoman’s work exposing (1) the very real problems with the historicity of “the book (Koran), the man (Muhammed), and the place (Mecca);” (2) the issues with the actual ARABIC text of the Koran (the Islamic Dilemma); and (3) the abject ignorance most muslims possess concerning their own alleged “scriptures.” There is an actual plan /scheme under Islam for conquering the West without resorting to actual warfare: (1) migrate and initially present as “moderate” or westernized in one’s beliefs; (2) as muslim populations grow, use the openness (and effeminate types in charge) of western democracies to engage in political activism, starting with victim /oppressed identity; (3) once a sufficient population is in place, vote in /take over jurisdictions and begin compelling islamic culture /mores /laws. See, e.g., [formerly Great] Britain, France, and Dearborn, Michigan. If Charles Martel and Joseph III Sobieski could resurrect, they’d spit in the faces of alleged western “leaders,” who would do nothing in response due to the majority of them being eunuchs, castrati (except to whine about woke concepts).
Thank God for Robert Spencer who consistently and reasonably reveals the ignorance of those in the West who lash out at critics of Islam. I am satisfied by Spencer’s scholarship and reasoning. But what do I know? I only had 6-1/2 years of graduate study at Harvard, published four books and over 400 articles online.
Don’t keep us hanging. What is the subject matter of all this prolific post grad work?
UK now stands for United Kaliphate.
Imagine the scene in the Islamic book store at the Quran section. There’s the regular Quran for the everyday peaceful Muslim and then there’s the section with Qurans on sale for extremist Muslims. Warning to Infidels: If you intend buying a Quran to set fire to it in protest against Islam, to be safe, buy a regular Quran.
Wishful thinking aside, there’s an intellectual deficit at work here: British authorities overestimate the civilization attribute of individualism in Islamic society and underestimate the power and hold of hive-minded groupthink.
World War II saved Poland from Germany for Russia. NATO saved Europe from Russia for Islam.
Yet now Poland is leading the EU in critical thinking about migration.
Typical mind block among the authorities throughout military history.
I know Islam isn’t the problem in the UK because after a gang rape or murder the headlines always say “Manchester men” or “young South Asian man” or “motives unknown”.
Another good piece by Robert Spencer
The UK prefers the delusional comfort of Islamic mystification to the truthful recognition of Islam based upon their own Islamic sources.
When facing the truth becomes your enemy, you are those you will be convinced of anything and sacrifice everything.
Islam is a religion of peace. And if you don’t believe that then the Muslims will cut your head off.
Great work Robert! check out Christian Prince in youtube too, he is an Arab christian and he knows islam better than allah.
Extremist Elements? I suppose he means terrorists. But what about the Muslim rape gangs who infected Rotherham, Telford, Oxford, Birmingham, Bradford, Bristol, Dover, Rochdale, Oldham, Newcastle, South Yorkshire, West Mercia, Aylesbury, Banbury, Derby, Halifax, Keighley, Peterborough, Huddersfield, Burton-on-Trent, Ramsgate, Coventry, Chelmsford, Dewsbury, Middleborough, Manchester, Warwickshire, West Midlands, Belmarsh, Brixton, High Down, Holloway, Pentonville, Thameside, Wormwood Scrubs, Liverpool, and London?
They have little connections to ISIS, Hamas, Hezbollah etc. They’re just practicing what Islam teaches; that infidel girls are legitimate prey for rape, abduction, and sexual slavery. Rape has increased all over Western Europe wherever mass migration of Muslims has taken place. These are not “extremists”. These are ordinary Muslims who refuse to integrate into western norms and culture, but bring their own culture … and all that Islam teaches, with them.
That particular behavior will end when the punishment is castration.
A number of my acquaintances typify the western majority in their assumption that Islam is innocuous. They are misled by the fact that most Muslims do not make the effort or take the risk to engage in jihad.
Or they do soft jihad, whereas the terrorists do hard jihad. There’s a saying that Islamic terrorists are like snakes in the grass, and moderate Muslims are the grass.
The glaring reality is that the UK knows squat regarding Islam and its ongoing takeover of the Kingdom. Or maybe it’s just a bad case of denial. Either way, the end result is the same.
As Erdogan has told us, Islam is Islam.
I had a US military friend taking a class at the War College in the late 90’s and almost flunked the class because on a test he described the greatest threat to America being “Islam” instead of Russia! Then shortly after Russia (sarc) destroyed the World Trade Center.
Fools. They ignore the experience and words of Sir Winston Churchill who cut his teeth in 1898 fighting the “Mohamedans” as a British lancer in relieving the siege of Khartoum at the Battel of Omdurman in Sudan from the Mahdi, who beheaded General George Gordon after his capture. Sudan was the first modern Islamic state to practice Sharia. Churchill found Islam to be repugnant, it enslaved women; consisted of a fanatical frenzy; and a fatalistic apathy and this theocracy was a danger to the Christian West. In my opinion, we are still fighting Sir Winston Churchills’ war, more so in Europe, which is succumbing to its malice without retort.
UK considers Robert, the Extremist.
That’s why he is banned in Brittan!
This isn’t the England I grew up watching, it’s closer to the old Soviet Union. This romance with tyranny will not last, it will either reverse or end up in total despotism.
I believe the word “supercilious” was coined to describe the average Brit given an even ounce of authority. Even my handful of British friends cannot help but cling to the notion that there is something superior about their land and way of life, incapable of reckoning with the collapse of their economy, of civil society, and of the once-great institutions of their land. They will tout the brilliance of the National Health Service, assert that they exercise military power in the world, and enjoy world class policing, postal service, and transportation.
Little wonder, then, that any deviation from orthodoxy, however well-founded, will not go unpunished. Just the other day, the Speaker of the House of Commons reprimanded a member for calling the Prime Minister a liar in the house, citing a hidebound rule of order that defies the reality before him. No doubt all the deck chairs will be in ticket-y-boo order when the SS Britain sinks.
The problem with the notion of the “moderate Muslim” is that it is impossible to frame such a concept in a way that allows it to include Muhammad.
Robert, don’t make this harder than it is, Look at the ongoing 14oo year jihad. Look at 9-11 and October 7th. Look at the constant sharia encroachment. Look at the number of mosques being built. Western europe is almost absorbed.
At some point we as Americans will be killing these Muj cockroaches in the streets along with their IslamoDemocrat enablers in government. It’s still not too late.
As Kurt Schlichter just said again Buy guns and ammo.
After 9/11 we were told Islam is a “religion of peace” and if you didn’t agree, then you were Islamophobic. We were afraid to call out Islam, a supremacist, Fascistic anti-West ideology, as evil because we would be labeled Isamophobic which was equivalent to being called racist.
I always rely on Bill Warner’s video… “Why we are afraid…” to explain Islam’s war against all infidels, but particularly the West which hasn’t been taught in the West:
