Order Robert Spencer’s new book, Holy Hell: Islam’s Abuse of Women and the Infidels Who Enable It: HERE.
This story was widely reported and commented upon as if it were yet another example of how far-left authorities in shattered, staggering, dhimmi Britain are so craven, short-sighted and self-serving that they even acted to squelch discussion of the growing peril the nation finds itself in from Islamic jihadis: one of the nation’s leading experts on this threat says that he was told not to talk about it. In a certain sense, that’s exactly what this story is about. But the identity of this particular “counter-extremism expert” makes the story far, far worse.
GB News reported Sunday that “a veteran Government adviser on counter-extremism has accused the Home Office of trying to ‘silence’ him after he criticised ministers’ handling of the growing Islamist threat to Britain.” That sounds like exactly what Britain’s Labour government would do. After all, when have leftists ever sounded the alarm about Islamic jihad? Leftists are allied with Islamic jihadis. When they’re not out marching for Hamas, they’re appointing Muslim Brotherhood operatives to positions of power and influence. So Labour top dogs must have written off this veteran government adviser as “far right,” their favorite epithet for everything they dislike, and moved to silence him accordingly, right? Not quite.
GB News goes on to note that “Fiyaz Mughal, founder of Tell Mama, stepped down from his Home Office advisory role at the end of last year, claiming he faced ‘insidious pressure’ to avoid speaking publicly about the threat posed by Islamist ideology.”
Fiyaz Mughal is warning about “the threat posed by Islamist ideology” now? And he is a government expert on that threat? The idea of Fiyaz Mughal as a government adviser on “counter-extremism” is an indication of how bad things really are in Britain today.
For years, Fiyaz Mughal was an energetic purveyor of the “Islamophobia” smear; he was instrumental in getting Pamela Geller and me banned from entering Britain for the crime of speaking accurately about the roots of jihad violence in Islamic teaching. Fiyaz Mughal is an unprincipled, dishonest, and manipulative character assassin who was one of the principal people responsible not just for banning critics of Islam from the country, but for stigmatizing resistance to jihad violence and Sharia oppression of women in the UK in general.
Fiyaz Mughal was also one of the chief voices labeling those who called attention to Muslim rape gang activity as “racist” and “Islamophobic.” He is one of those people who are most responsible for the destruction of Britain as a free society. Future generations of free people, if there are any in Britain, will excoriate him as the evil and destructive individual that he is.
And now he is being held up as an expert on “counter-extremism,” and complaining that the Labour government didn’t want to talk about “Islamist ideology”? Mughal spent years covering up the role of “Islamist ideology” in jihad, the Muslim rape gangs, and more. So if even he is complaining, you can be sure that the Labour government is completely in the tank for jihadis.
Mughal himself is now posing as a heroic martyr: “I actively made the decision to more robustly challenge Islamist extremism,” he claims, “and felt it wasn’t possible to continue speaking out about it while working there.” Even worse, this apparently brings to an end his lengthy association with the British government: “His departure brought to an end more than 20 years advising successive governments on extremism and radicalisation.” That’s twenty years too long.
Yet Britain is so far gone today that it’s way beyond even Fiyaz Mughal: “The row followed an article Mr. Mughal wrote for The Telegraph last February, in which he said he was stunned that Islamist extremism was not mentioned during the first 90 minutes of a Home Office summit on tackling radicalisation.” It’s Islamic jihad, not “Islamist extremism,” and the omission is criminal, but Fiyaz Mughal is hardly the man Britain needs to set the record straight.
Never fear, however: Mughal appears simply to have been grandstanding to get a better position: “The day after the article was published, a senior Home Office official contacted Mr. Mughal to discuss his media activity and future work with the Government.” So all is well. Fiyaz Mughal will continue to advise the government about “Islamist extremism” right up until the “Islamist extremists” secure their power over that once-free land, and maybe even after that. Hey, it’s a living.

The UK keeps drilling Holes in their rowboat and their sinking fast and too blind to see it all happening
Like, Keir Starmer, Fiyaz Mughal is a wanker. Both should be deported to Somaliland.
Somaliland is a democratic, well run country. I think you meant Somalia, a good place to foist Starmer and Fiyaz Mughal on and good riddance to both of them!
I wouldn’t trust this guy to sell me a used car, much less advise on Islam.
The chickens didn’t hire a fox to tell them how to build a hen house.
50 years ago, Supertramp wrote a hit song that mirrors today’s troubled times. The song is on the album, fittingly named, “Crime Of The Century”.

So you think your government’s surrendered
I guess it’s hard not to agree
You say it all depends on their color
And their far away family tree
Right (right), you’re bloody well right
You got a bloody right to say
If they don’t want to be English
Send them on their bloody way.
Ha, ha, you’re bloody well right
You know you’re right to say
Yeah, yeah, you’re bloody well right
You’ve got a right to say
Know your country’s history,
It comes from a higher place
You’ve been stabbed, raped and beaten
And had acid thrown in your face
Right (quite right) you’re bloody well right
You got a bloody right to say
Right, you’re bloody well right
You know the changes start today
Ha, ha, you’re bloody well right
You know you’re right to say
If you don’t want to be English
Then be on your bloody way
I’d add – Just because you want to be English doesn’t make you English. Just as a man wanting to be a woman, doesn’t make him a woman.
And any English man or woman who doesn’t want to be English should find a country which better matches their wants. Good luck with that, mind, because you won’t find anywhere else that will tolerate your intolerant, obsessive and destructive nature.
Why does the UK insist on pretending to not be a muslim country? They’re embarrassing themselves. The world can see that they’ve effectively capitulated to their Islamic conquerors.
The Church of England should disbanded, the monarchy dissolved and the parliament turned over to a committee of muslim Imams who will decide the country’s fate going forward. It’s inevitably going to happen so they might as well do it expeditiously and put it behind them.
That would afford a warning to countries not yet as Islamised, though. And might make them rethink their policies whilst they still have room to manoeuvre.
King Chuckles loves dressing up as a muslim and celebrating their rituals and holidays.
If it walks like a duck, etc….
Dhimmi Britain surges in the European Islamopandering derby.
