In October, a politically connected illegal alien was charged with ramming ICE vehicles in Los Angeles. He was shot and wounded by an ICE officer, but after a grand jury indicted the illegal alien, an Obama judge threw out the charges.
The case was all too typical of how commonplace car attacks on ICE and immigration law enforcement had become and how sanctuary cities had conspired to legalize them.
The death of a radical leftist activist accused of attempting to ram ICE personnel with her SUV in Minneapolis, may be the first official fatality, but it’s also the inevitable result of normalizing car attacks, promoting them as a tactic and then protecting their perpetrators from the consequence. Radical judges and activist groups can protect an activist from the law, but not from a bullet, and driving a 5,000 lb SUV at armed men was always going to end one way.
Democrat officials, including Gov. Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, have tried to pretend that the fatal shooting showed that ICE is violent and “out of control.” The media has barraged viewers with that same false narrative using misleading and out of context scenes.
But there is a pattern to ICE shootings. Every ICE shooting in the last 4 months involved individuals trying to ram ICE personnel with their vehicles just like the Minneapolis case.
The media will never discuss that pattern, but it explains what happened in Minneapolis.
Even though only 41% of vehicles on the road are SUVs, many activist vehicular confrontations with ICE have involved SUVs. Why SUVs? Because they’re large and they’re favored by radicals as a tool for pursuing, blocking and confronting ICE vehicles. While fleeing illegal aliens tend to use smaller cars, activists in convoys harassing and blocking ICE invariably use SUVs.
And the confrontations between the convoys and ICE are increasingly turning violent.
Car ramming attacks, like those in Paris, New York or New Orleans, were initially a tool of Islamic terrorists before being adopted by various unstable people and finally leftists. Jihadists preferred heavier vehicles, trucks and pickup trucks, much as the anti-ICE activists adopted SUVs because of their bulk, weight and ability to block federal law enforcement access.
The initial car attacks against ICE involved illegal aliens and then fringe Hispanic nationalist activists, but by the time a white woman was shot in Minneapolis, vehicular confrontations, like reading Heather Cox Richardson and watching Jennifer Welch, had become mainstreamed among liberals. It stopped being seen as dangerous and violent and became trendy.
By late November, the Department of Homeland Security was reporting 99 car ramming incidents involving ICE and Border Patrol personnel with 4 attacks in just one single day..
The number now stands at over 100.
Some of the ICE car rammings had involved efforts by illegal aliens to escape custody, but online activists helped popularize them as an empowering way to protect illegal aliens.
The same leftists who tried to drag soccer moms into BLM activism decided to market SUV anti-ICE activism as a good way to oppose President Trump. Now a woman is dead because leftists made it seem like getting into confrontations with armed law enforcement officers while driving an SUV was a good strategy when it’s actually a good way to get shot or killed.
The same kind of confrontation with an armed law enforcement officer that might play out with a brief shove in person goes very differently when the activist is wielding a 5,000 lb vehicle and decides to drive it at a man standing in front of her. What might have played out with handcuffs and a desk appearance ticket can very quickly turn into a life and death situation.
What happened in Minneapolis was not a tragic accident, but the purpose of the exercise.
Democrats demonized ICE to protect the massive criminal illegal alien constituencies that had allowed them to take over states like California and were their best hope for seizing power in Texas. SUV confrontations with ICE were marketed to liberals as a way to protect illegal aliens.
But that was only their secondary purpose.
Much like the campaigns to block streets and confront drivers in support of BLM and then Hamas, the goal was to create chaos, generate violent confrontations, and force police intervention. The issue, as David Horowitz frequently reminded us, was not the issue, it was the revolution. BLM, Hamas or illegal aliens are vectors for radicalizing liberals into extremism through the familiar mechanisms of protest, violence, death and then terrorism and tyranny.
It’s the same exact program that played out during the sixties and seventies.
Having a ‘martyr’ will allow leftists to force Democrats to back the elimination of ICE and with it immigration enforcement, which under their administrations had barely become an afterthought, and to justify increasing violence against a law enforcement organization that they demonized.
The great mistake we made with international terrorism was to chase the terrorists instead of targeting those behind them. It would be unfortunate if we continued making the same mistake with domestic terrorists, arresting those violent, criminal or radical enough to drive their SUVs at ICE and Border Patrol personnel, instead of the political infrastructure behind it all. That’s the same mistake we made with BLM and it quickly overwhelmed local and federal law enforcement. With over 100 car ramming attacks, a number sure to continue increasing, immigration enforcement personnel rightly see themselves in the ‘line of fire’, but they will now also face pressure to avoid another fatal shooting like the one in Minneapolis.
Law enforcement personnel in the field will have seconds to decide if the moving SUV aggressively confronting them should be treated as a lethal weapon or a minor inconvenience.
That’s not fair to them. And it’s not how our society should work.
The only way to end the violence is to go after the politicians, organizations and groups inciting it. Or car ramming attacks will continue to escalate as the Left labors to organize them.

Peaceful advocacy for changes in our constitution or culture is integral part of our country. Not something to be punished. However violent attempts must be responded to with justice including capital punishment where ever they are located and regardless of their religious or political affiliation. Although the gist of the article is correct, a careful review of the video shows Renee Good turning her front wheels full-right to apparently attempt to drive around the ICE agent in front of her car. But the agent in front of the car had apparently already gotten the memo regarding ramming attempts and was probably not able to see that the front wheels had turned hard-right away from him at the same moment the vehicle moved “forward”, probably forward at the same time as starting an immediate turn to the right. He may have even noticed the car turning away at the same time his brain had already programmed the pulling of the trigger, but in reaction and correction time, it was a 1/10 second too late to undo what his body had been commanded to put into motion.
Now apparently, Renee Good still fits the gist of the article and is apparently complicit in her own demise.
It brings to mind the 14 year old run over and killed by a Muslim bus driver during a Haredi anti-draft protest. Incitement by the Israeli deep-state causing we Jews to act like Muslims on the one hand and then the Muslim bus driver incited by the crowd to finally act irrationally. Initially the bus driver tried to back away from the mob but the mob persisted and finally their provocations worked. You are correct about reaction times and so forth. There is a video available from about the two-oclock position ahead of Renee Good’s car. It shows without a doubt that she struck him in midsection and that he was trying to slide off the driver’s side quarter panel. It’s easy to be run over this way, and I understand that she did run over his foot.
The ICE officer could not have detected where her wheels were pointed. He could, however, hear the roar of herr motor. I understand he was an ICE agent I read about last summer who’d been dragged by an escaping illegal and suffered bad injury.
It was an awful outcome all the way around, but what is with these people that they feel a need to interfere with law enforcement? She had zero business being there, harassing the agents for a long while before the terminal incident. The more that cars are being used as weapons, the more that ICE will see them so.
She was there for two reasons . . .

I read a comment from another source today prior to reading this article and it certainly resonated with me.
This woman, the latest in an increasingly violent use of human protestors in SUV’s, is but the blatant disregard for the lives of officers. The violent leftists are now engaging in narrative propaganda by using this woman as a human shield against law enforcement in both their rightful arrests and their right to self protection according to federal law.

For those of you who insist the agents were in no danger and had no reason to fear for their safety or the safety of others,, please try this experiment: go to a grocery store parking lot, stand in front of or immediately next to an SUV with an angry woman driving it, preferably a woman who has been stalking you all day and who is screaming at you.. Place your hand on the drivers door, Have the angry screaming woman drive forward, then back and then forward again and let us know if you feel threatened. Or better still, get into your SUV and drive very close to some pedestrians — don’t hit them but maybe just brush them with your fender — and see what reaction you get..

There was a time when people respected law enforcement. Either respected or feared. But people back in my youth had enough common sense not to impede or charge at armed law enforcement in the USA because of the laws and they had the numbers, the training, the equipment and the law behind them.

And then the President must assemble a strike team of U.S. Marshals, FBI, and Homeland Security agents, preparing them on short notice to ready themselves to be able to literally swoop in by helicopter and armored vehicle on a ‘fast-and-furious’ assault-style mission to seize and arrest both Democrats (and any of their minions he wants to include), in the same manner he did with Maduro in Venezuela. They must be heavily armed, and given strict orders to return fire against any state and local police that might likewise forcibly resist them. No messing around, shoot to kill, like the ‘Delta Dudes’ did with the Fidel clones who were protecting Maduro. Overwhelming force, all the shock and awe necessary. Go in, and fast, grab them, haul the two out in handcuffs (hopefully before some stunned media-crew cameras), literally rush them into the waiting choppers, and whisk them away on back to D.C. to be charged with fomenting insurrection; then relay them on to Guantanamo (it’s defacto U.S. territory). And be able to execute the mission with such lightning surprise and speed the rest of the Democratic Party will take a couple hours at least to realize what just hit them. Then the President must take to the airwaves to thoroughly explain to the nation—and the world—the whats, whys, and wherefores of the action. And let the Democrats know without doubt: you are playing with the fire of outright unwarranted insurrectional rebellion. But I am not playing in stopping you.

Find or invent a judgeproof loophole in a law that will allow Trump to go after the frauds who are participating in the car ramming scam and put a steel trap into the law that the left and the Clinton/Obama/Biden judges cannot break through or undue when if Trump has to leave in three years.

I think it is obvious what is going on here. The Biden administration was able to bring in millions and millions of illegals. But they couldn’t get them citizenship and voting rights before the Dems were removed from office in the 2024 election. So what they did was turn their entire machine – including federal court judges, their media lapdogs, their street mobs, their politicians, to hindering and delaying their removal so, that if the Dems can regain power in 2028, they can give them amnesty, voting rights, and make this a one-party nation till the end of time. Of course, they can’t reveal this so they tell the public, including their emotionally driven, easily manipulated, supporters that enforcing immigration law is evil, the people enforcing it are the “Gestapo,” people being apprehended are being “kidnapped,” and are being sent to “terror dungeons.”. Perhaps the officers being threatened with being run down should simply empty a magazine into the engine of the vehicle as it approaches them or immediately after they escape injury. At any rate, if the driver doesn’t get shot the vehicle should be disabled on the spot.
