There were roughly two categories of the rich, famous and powerful people who maintained or built relationships with Jeffrey Epstein after his original arrest and imprisonment.
1. People who were in on it
2. People who had the idea that the whole thing was a non-issue
Where would they have gotten that idea? From the Clinton ally down in Florida who had made a point of throwing the book at Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter, but gave Epstein the greatest pass in the world.
Why would anyone have taken a jail sentence seriously when it allowed Epstein to serve in his own private wing where the doors didn’t lock, allowed him to do ‘work release’ in his own office, and jet around where he wanted to go.
And all of that happened because the charges weren’t serious and he was given the softball treatment.
Why did that happen? As I’ve been saying for a decade, ask the Clintons and the Democrat officials who gave him a pass.
Trump’s people fumbled the messaging on this badly. They keep talking in circles rather than boiling this down to the simple issue that the only people in the position to get Epstein that pass were Democrat officials and Clinton allies.
The pass that Epstein got allowed him to return to society and become more influential than ever because his prison sentence was a joke, the charges were hollow and people came away with the impression that he didn’t do anything wrong.
Now any in-depth research would have shown otherwise, but the capsule summary allowed Epstein to build his influence and allowed rich and powerful men to maintain and elevate their association with Epstein. That’s why it all comes down to that original court case and to the Clintons.

President Trump is notorious for allowing America’s domestic enemies to go unpunished, even when their guilt is established beyond a doubt. He doesn’t even punish his personal enemies who are also indisputably guilty. Enemies of both America and our President are criminals.
The Clintons are enemies of America, President Trump and all humanity, along with hundreds of prominent politicians, political appointees, unelected bureaucrats and Special Prosecutors, judges and money men such as George Soreass, Michael Bupkesberg, Reid Huffsmen, Jim Shitmons and others.
I wish it weren’t true but it is. All these criminals are walking around free, along with the seditionist FBI traitors who helped Brokeback Hasbeen Osama perpetrate operation “Fast and Furious,” helped Hitlery Clinthog and Michael Steele lie to a FISA court for the “Trump Russia” attempted coup, raided Mar a Lago, perpetrated operation “Arctic Frost” (named after an orange frost in not so sunny FL as a reference to Orange Man bad) and many other crimes, including Christopher Gay claiming that fictional white supremacists were the deadliest threat to America rather than deranged lefties and islamopithecine jihadis. Hell, the Iranian mullahs and their Islamic Devolutionary Gunmen Corps are still murdering innocent Iranian citizens, including babies and toddlers. uUp to 38,000 were reported murdered as of mid January.
Get on the ball, President Trump. Americans are counting on you. And replace Pam Bondi with Jeanine Pirro as Attorney General.
The “justice system” might just acquit them all, regardless of who is AG.
Finding a valid jurisdiction in which to put them on trial is a big problem.
Places like DC, NYC, etc., would produce juries that would acquit even if they confessed on the stand.
The juries would probably stand up and applaud at the confessions.
One of your best comments to date.
So far the administration has been a good headline maker. Appearances of doing something.
I doubt replacing Bondi, AKA Barr 2.0, will have any effect.
But then you have to ask the next obvious question: why were they okay with raping children as long as they wouldn’t suffer any consequences?
Over and over, we (some of us) try to explain (if you were around for Led Zep in the 70s and remember Lori Maddox, Page’s 14-yr-old GF, you understand) — we are not talking about children OR rape. These were teen-agers, younger than 18, who (like the one smilingly giving BC a neck massage) wanted excitement and got paid. That’s all the evidence so far, regardless of all the “child rapist” accusations being thrown around.
“Taking advantage of”? Probably…but that decision relies on what you thought about Lori Maddox and if you thought JP should be prosecuted. In many ways, morals are way behind the 70s, meaning much worse than then (that Super Bowl “performance” would have been banned everywhere in the US back then)….but in a few ways, 2026 looks like medieval mores’ compared to the 60s and 70s.
And hyperbole is up by about 100 since then (much of it on social media).
Good question. What else was going on besides the sex with young girls?
Lots of illegal drug use, no doubt.
It’s called a two tiered justice system. Man pees in public, get two years in slam. Slick Willy, Somali Muzzies, and illegals rape little boys and girls, get hands slapped.
It’s Just us and them.
I couldn’t agree more w/the “two-tiered justice,” but seeing everyone posting about “raping children” is making me wonder what has happened to critical thinking. (And some even add “cannibalizing babies” to the online charges, now.)
Daniel, I am surprised you even asked the question when we ALL know why.
Biggest reason is same reason leftists were tolerant/comfortable with Harvey Weinstein – he and Epstein both wrote large checks to the DNC . . . LOTS of checks.
Such a shame that that gravy train derailed, but then again, USAID picked up the slack. (Hopefully, Elon’s exposer truncated that DNC finance source also.)
