Despite the recent settlement, Steven Witkoff and Jared Kushner, both of whom have significant financial interests involving Qatar, the state sponsor of Hamas, went on 60 Minutes. They did it because they knew they would find a friendly audience to bash Israel.
Witkoff and Kushner, understandably, condemned Israel for striking Hamas assets in Qatar since that is where their capital is.
Anyone still holding out for the notion that Kushner was friendly, got to listen to him declare that, “The biggest message that we’ve tried to convey to the Israeli leadership now is that, now that the war is over, if you want to integrate Israel with the broader Middle East, you have to find a way to help the Palestinian people thrive and do better.” Because shoving endless billions at them and maintaining their infrastructure just wasn’t doing it. It’s Israel’s job to make the Islamic terrorists trying to destroy it thrive.
Witkoff, pulling out his dead son shtick as often as Biden, spoke of commiserating with Khalil al-Hayya, a Hamas leader, about his dead son. “We expressed our condolences to him for the loss of his son. He mentioned it. And I told him that I had lost a son, and that we were both members of a really bad club, parents who have buried children.”
In 1945, Germany lost its leader and in 1963, America lost its leader, and you would have to be a real Witkoff to equate the two.
But Jared Kushner thought this was just great.
Not mentioned is that Khalil al-Hayya had hailed the Oct 7 massacres as “a source of pride for our people… to be passed down from generation to generation” and vowed to destroy Israel.
Witkoff tried the Biden son routine out on the Israelis and got nowhere, and then whined that they were “playing the victim”.
Things got worse when Kushner insisted that the search for the bodies of the hostages was being conducted by Hamas in good faith. And then claimed that there is “a very intense effort on behalf of our joint center with Israel and with the mediators in order to convey whatever information Israel has on the whereabouts of the bodies to the mediators and to Hamas– in order to retrieve them.”
We know at this point that there is no deal. J.D. Vance has said that there’s no infrastructure in place to disarm Hamas and hopes that at some point, Muslim countries will get around to creating one. For now, Witkoff and Co. are pressuring Israel not to respond to Hamas attacks which means we’re right back to where things were under Clinton, Bush, Obama and Biden with calls for Israel not to respond or to respond.
This state of affairs can only last for so long.

Wake up admin. Witkoff excreble as are many. We have one chance for world stability, based upon reality, not sucking up to musselmen and communists.
Witcoff and Kushner do what Trump tells them to do. It is a form of good cop bad cop. Trump invites Bibi to WH grinning saying he is Israel’s best friend. Bad cop Witcoff is sent to negotiate a bad deal for Israel, to insult Israel, to disrespect the Jewish faith and suck up to islam and terrorists.
Both are Trump. Sad to say.

Are you aware that Pam Bondi was Qatars $115,000/month chief lobbyist in DC or that Kash Patel was Qatars $85,000/month lobbyist?
Get rid of Witkoff and Kushner! They are poison. Israel doesn’t need them and we don’t need them. We have a Secretary of State. Turn him loose. He has brains, moral judgment and legal expertise!

Every single Administration have always managed to find their court Jews to do their dirty work against Israel. This Administration is no exception, even if it’s friendlier towards Israel than its predecessor.
My jaw hit the floor reading the idiotic statements by Steve Witkoff and Kushner! Witkoff offering condolences to the Hamas terrorists father over his death???!! That sounds like what Tucker Carlson said about him being willing to offer condolences to the family of Osama Bin Laden! But this is worse because these two guys are representing President Trump and America! I’m sorry, but our president and his administration have been captured by Islam! America is done!
Perhaps also Qatar is milking Israel’s bombing of Hamas on their soil as much as they can to gain more concessions:
First Bibi’s apology, then Trump’s commitment (unprescidented) to protect Qatar from any attack by its enemies (Israel), then Trump’s promise to train the Qatari airforce on American soil….
NO DOUBT Qatar is taking its grievances further and BLACKMAILING TRUMP TO PULL OUT OF THE DEAL if he doesn’t MAKE EFFORTS TO OUSTER BIBI AND THROW HIM UNDER THE BUS.
NO WONDER HAMAS STARTED MOCKING TRUMP AND SAID THEY WOULDNT ABIDE BY ANY DEAL – for their friend Qatar has Trump by his neck
Kushner and Witkoff are also compromised by their business interests in Qatar – the country who financed Hamas terror for years, including the terror tunnels.
Neither of these men belongs in the roles they have. Neither one understands the Middle East. Both are severely compromised and completely untrustworthy.
The words of Ronald Reagan that are so frequently repeated are, “Trust but verify.” I am waiting to hear his even better words, “We win, they lose.”
That 60 minutes interview was outrageous, to say the least. Those two corrupt, clueless, and complicit presumed friends of Israel just piled on one insane comment after another. If I didn’t know it, I would have thought they represented a leftist government.
Regretably, Daniel still refuses to name Trump. Trump is at the helm driving this, erratic, making empty threats to Hamas, then pivoting back to his new position of treating Israel with disrespect, dripping with patronizing words and tone.
Increasingly, he seems very unstable with respect to the two big foreign affairs issues: the ME and the war in Ukraine. He pulled the same crap with Zelenskky by slamming Putin and publically announcing he may give Ukraine Patriot missiles only to, a few days later, admonish Zelenskky and tell him he needs to cave to Putin and give up land. Trump is pulling the same nonsense with Israel. I know not what prompted this shift in him and sometimes have to wonder if it was always in there and is only now blossoming because he won’t be running for President again. Or perhaps, and more likely, he’s become so obsessed with getting a Nobel Prize and being the “peacemaker” that he forces so-called peace by pressuring the nation that was attacked to surrender. Gee, who knew peace could be so easily achieved? Whatever the reason, shockingly, Trump has undermined Israel in a very big and there’s no reason to trust him on this front going forward. (I wonder what IDF soldiers think and feel these days after fighting so bravely, so many killed, so many injured, to be so close and have it all taken away.)
I believe Trump’s heart is with zisrael, but his advisors are IGNORANT OF REALITY AND MADE GRAVE MISTAKES. For example, not letting Israel finish off the Iranian regime heads let them murder the pro-democratic opposition, ans a continual oppression, plus continually control over their global terror proxies, such as in Yemen.
Trump et al made t h e same mistake in Gaza by not letting Iarael finish off Hamas – even after t h eir multiple breachs of the agreement. America looks WEAK and the APPEASEMENT to Hamas sugar daddy Qatar is a HUGE VICTORY FOR RADICAL ISLAM.
When you engage Iarael’s worst enemies such as Muslim Brotherhood countries Turkey and Qatar – plus terror- and Hamas,-complicent Egypt, failure is inevitable. Those countries who boycotted Bibi’s presence at the “peace signing” pow-wow are a sharp reminder that they are NOT partners in peace, but mortal enemies of Iarael who are working on Trump to not only get concessions, but to hold Trump and his “peace deal” hostage to their demands. NO VICTORY FOR ISRAEL NOR TRUMP HERE.
