Disarmament is already a farce.
The so-called ‘peace deal’ was really the same old hostages-for-terrorists deal accompanied by a partial Israeli withdrawal and Hamas takeover. There’s no plan, as J.D. Vance already admitted, for an actual disarmament of Hamas. That’s a job that some Muslim countries are possibly supposed to do. The same ones that support Hamas.
Meanwhile Bishara A. Bahbah, Witkoff’s ‘Palestinian’ advisor, claims that Hamas only has to give up its ‘heavy weapons’.
Bishara Bahbah, a former adviser to Yasser Arafat with ties to the PLO, had previously blasted “the bigotry of a large number of politicians, particularly Republicans, toward Islam, the Syrian refugees, and the Sharia law.”
After Oct 7, Bahbah decided he was a Republican and formed Arab Americans for Trump. This was part of a larger Arab and Muslim trend of pressuring Dems to turn on Israel. And it worked pretty well. Then Bishara Bahbah got angry at Trump and rebranded the group as Arab Americans for Peace.
Despite that Witkoff brought in Bahbah as a “mediator” who can talk to Hamas. What Bahbah actually puts out there is hard to distinguish from Hamas propaganda. But it may be very revealing.
Mr. Bahbah, one of the key points in the agreement is that Hamas must disarm. However, Hamas has repeatedly stated that it is not willing to do so. Is there a possibility that they will not comply with this condition? Do you have any insight into whether Hamas is prepared to disarm?
Bahbah: As I mentioned, part of our discussions focused on the definition of disarmament. Does disarmament mean only handing over heavy weapons? Does it mean not developing or smuggling weapons in the future? Does it allow for individuals to retain small arms for self-defense?
The American interpretation had been that if Hamas handed over its heavy weapons to an Arab-Palestinian side and promised not to develop or smuggle new ones, it would be considered disarmed. As for individual weapons – the ability for people to defend themselves in case of an attack – this was acceptable under the American definition.
Under this definition, Hamas would keep most of its arsenal that it used on Oct 7 and most of its military forces.
What are heavy weapons? Depends on which definition you use. Hamas doesn’t have most ‘heavy weapons’ anyway. RPGs may or may not fall in that category. Missiles will presumably be classified as heavy weapons. Drones may not be.
Hamas will interpret the category as it pleases and so will the Egyptians or anyone else tasked with disarming the terror group.
Even any ‘heavy weapons’ will be handed over, according to Bahbah, a ‘security force’ that will include Hamas.
Bahbah claimed that “Israel is trying to convince the US to change the wording of the next phase, and they are using Hamas’s possession of weapons as an excuse. Hamas will eventually have to hand over its heavy weapons to Arab-Islamic-Palestinian forces.”
And those forces will include Hamas.
“It is possible that Hamas activists will integrate in the future into the Palestinian security forces. Israel and the US will have to accept this, because there will be supervision over them and a responsible authority, and they will integrate into the Palestinian security force,” Bahbah claimed.
Much as I predicted, Hamas will hand over its ‘heavy weapons’ to the ‘security forces’ who are also Hamas.
And, best of all, we may be paying for the whole farce.
The 20-point ‘peace plan’ proposes “an internationally funded buy back and reintegration programme.”
So the Hamas terrorist hands over the guns to the Hamas police officer and we’ll be paying for it.
As I’ve been warning all along, this agreement is a facade in which a fake ‘technocratic’ government is used as a shield for Hamas to remain in power followed by a recognition of terrorist statehood because the ‘technocratic’ government technically isn’t Hamas. In reality however, it’s Hamas.
Both America and Israel need to drop this ‘deal’ as soon as possible.
None of the negotiators seems to have read Sir Richard Burton’s voluminous accounts of his hassles negotiating with Muslims during the 1800s.
Witkoff, Kushner, and Trump clearly know nothing about Islam’s jihad imperative, and the various and numerous stratagems (all sacralized) that Muslims use to deceive infidels. They know nothing about how Muslims emulate Muhammad’s betrayal of the Quraysh, breaking the Treaty of Hudaibiyya, a truce, after secretly rearming, and how this serves as the paradigm for all treaties with non-Muslims. The Israelis, by and large, seems equally clueless, as when its military leader Conricus speaks of “de-radicalizing” the Gazans, as if they’re practicing some aberrant form of Islam, which prevents them from embracing, loving, and coexisting with Israelis.
Israel still, after eighty years, does not understand its enemy, nor do Witkoff and company. That’s why Bishara Bahbah was selected and retained as a negotiator.
Yes, toss this non-deal into the dumpster where it belongs.
Witkoff is. a paid agent of Qatar. He works for the Sheikh and Sheikha of Qatar. President Trump knows by now that Witkoff is a truly evil liar and Hamas supporter, but so far President Trump has not dumped him. And Kushner has all sorts of major investments with Qatar and therefore he can not be considered to be reliable in any way. Witkoff and Kushner should both be recused from any further relationship to negotiations in the Middle East.
Add Vance to that list. Vance is proving by the day not only how uninformed he, but how, in my view, his intuitive prediliction is anti-Israel in a way that is sympatico with Tucker Carlson. (Ollie Anisfeld at J TV just did great coverage on this after highly concerning statements Vance made during his recent trip to Israel.)

It is not complicated. Hamas will not disarm and will never surrender. To them it is a religious mandate to kill Jews and destroy western civilization. Did anyone see the 60 Minutes interview with Kushner and Witcoff? They kind of threw Israel under the bus stating “Israel was out of control and jeopardizing the entire peace deal process.” In re to the attack in Doha
Stahl asked Kushner to respond to Trump being “furious” at Netnayahu and Israel. Kushner stated ““I think he [President Trump] felt like the Israelis were getting a little bit out of control in what they were doing, and that it was time to be very strong and stop them from doing things that he felt were not in their long-term interests.”
Interesting comments from those two. Hope it doesn’t feed into the Israel is bad, Arab country’s are victim narrative.

So much for friends with their own agendas that clash with Israel’s. Israel must be entirely self sufficient. Even if Trump remained with Israel without the backstabbing, he is only president for a few more years.
Trump and his negotiators lied to Bibi and I srael. They knew it was a bad deal with hidden promises to Hamas that crossed Iarael’s red line. They the Kushner-Witkoff ambush on 60 Minutes was to preempt any complaints by Netanyahu, when the truth of the real conditions came to light. So Trump’s words mean NOTHING and if Israel protests, Trump negotiators will take the Bibi ouster ever further.
Once again the survival of the Jewish nation has been dictated by the hostages return.
Our future is guaranteed to have a repeat as several thousand terrorists were released to achieve the return of the hostages, again.
Our historic debacle was in obtaining the return of Gilad Shalit by negotiating with terrorists.

Then, to add to the absolute malevolence in this “deal”, a very subversive antisemitism has been allowed to slither into the terms and conditions that is relegating Israel unto Muslims being able to dictate some of the conditions for Hamas in Gaza that will only bring more destruction to Israel and it will not end the corruption and therefore any “rebuilding” will be inherently anti-Israel. Additionally, Judea and Samaria, referred to by Trump as the West Bank, have been declared “hands off” by Trump. This is a huge sector of the Israeli homeland now destined for advanced infiltration by terrorists..
There is NOTHING strategically beneficial to Israel other than the hostages returned but even that has become the latest stage of Hamas’ duplicity along with these seemingly “peace-minded” Arab nations.
How Benjamin Netanyahu and the Knesset signed on to this “deal” should cause every Jew serious consternation about why the nation’s leaders did this to Israel.
Israel has essentially been defanged in its ability to defend the people and rid Hamas from Gaza.
The footsie-playing Arab nations operating as security in Gaza is a nightmare that will one day rage against Israel again along with the adjacent predators lurking in Syria, Egypt and Türkiye as well as potentially with Saudi Arabia, and Qatar.
G-d is being mocked in secular Israel’s altar of capitulation to get the hostages back without ANY serious consideration for the future impact that letting out these barbarians from Israeli prisons will have upon innocent Israelis again.
Witkoff, Kushner, and Trump have become the sycophants to middle eastern money and while they will be beneficiaries of the inked business deals with some Arab nations, Israel will once again pay a horrific price choosing the ways of men instead of returning to and following the G-d of Israel.
