Democrats and their media breathed a sigh of relief after successfully browbeating their elderly nominee into withdrawing while he was sick and isolated.
Now the same media that suddenly took to investigating the Dem nominee has switched into full cheerleader mode deluging us with crucial reports about Kamala’s sweatshirts, how inspirational it will be to have a black female president (sorta) and how terrified Republicans are of running against her.
It’s all familiar stuff from 2008. The media and the Democrats (but I repeat myself) are trying to rerun the Obama campaign, but there’s a numbers of problems with that.
1. Kamala isn’t Obama. She just desperately wishes she was. Instead of coolness and charm, she’s awkward, tone-deaf, and spouts reductive nonsense. Nor does she have much of a black following.
2. The 2008 election was a change election, but Kamala is an incumbent. The 2012 election was a close one, but Obama had charisma, black voters and a hurricane on his side. While Republicans were stuck with a stiff and uncomfortable candidate with poor messaging skills and a lack of visible empathy.
Oh and by the way
3. The Obama campaign already happened. People have long since gotten tired of the original Obama. Never mind trying a candidate who combines the worst of Obama, Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden with none of the upsides.
4. The economic problems of today are more serious than they were in 2012. And no amount of telling people they’re delusional has made them go away. People blame the Biden administration for them.
Rerunning the Obama campaign’s vapid narcissism without its attempt at a change message is a dead end. The girl power stuff will look good to the media. It’ll appeal to a bunch of the Hillary voters, but it will turn off crucial parts of the country.
Biden, for all his flaws, could at least have some appeal beyond the Dem base of liberal and black women. That is purely Kamala’s base and she has anti-appeal beyond it. Now maximizing base turnout can work, but it’s also a surrender. And that’s what rebooting Kamala as a girl power version of Obama 2.0 is.
You can’t go home again.
Kamala isn’t Obama. She can’t run on change. And vapid narcissism isn’t a sell during an economic crisis.
… and she is not a natural born US citizen so she is ineligible to be President of the United States.

Glad to hear it Muggs. My stoppin’ grounds were Jacksonville (south of Tyler). Harris was born in Oakland to non-citizens. The Constitution states that one has to be a natural born Citizen, meaning of parents who are US citizens. To the spirit of the requirement, the natural born designation, according to Old English law from where it came, was determined by the status of the father. She does not qualify, but I have my doubts that will stop the train. The law doesn’t matter any longer…
But, and this is big but, this argument is assuming the coming election will be without democrat cheating. Not likely. Will she exceed the 81 million Biden supposedly chalked up in 2020? Only the agile democrat vote counters know for sure.
We have to hope Trump and team have found a way to counter this phenomenon.
And can communicate it to the American voting public. You would think inflation, gas prices, food prices, all prices, utility bills, interest rates would be enough for people to cry uncle and the most ardent of party line voters will vote as demoncraps for President Donald J. Trump? You would think. But people are still not critically thinking only emotionally thinking. There are only fans and supporters and voters of President Trump watching his rallies. The rest are watching the main sleaze media on the Big 3 networks (CBS, NBC, ABC) and the slime of cable and streaming 24/7 non-stop lying fake news and propaganda!
Yes, she is vapid. But many won’t think so and will be taken in by her empty statements that sound profound though they mean nothing. Others won’t even care. She’s being packaged and marketed. We are a dumbed down country. She has, as was gushed about on one of the legacy media stations today, a “twinkle in her eye.” Ooohhhhhh, I’m voting for her!
We are an unserious nation and moreso by the day. The left will exploit the physical differences between Harris and Trump and that, alone, won’t count for nothing. We would do well not to be confident and think we have this in the bag, because we don’t. The left has a way of check mating us, partially because they play to win, play for keeps, and embrace by any means necessary.
We all need to work hard to make sure we win: donate to Trump’s campaign, donate to down ballot races, and volunteer for campaigns. The left is a highly organized, well-oiled machine. Our side, not so much.

He really says nothing” a little different than the elementary school marm talk of Cackling Kamalala that is complete ridiculous that is sheer weakness, displaying vulnerability and totally stupid. Not an intelligent being Kamalala is. We’re still enduring the affects of policies of the senile dementia demented treasonous crooked pedophile Joe Briben – they damn near took President Trump out – we have one chance, like Occam’s Razor, the choice cannot be simpler. We better not F’Up because this is our last chance to save the republic of USA and hence the free world! As USA goes so goes the world!
