Last week I covered the story of a Voice of America attack on the David Horowitz Freedom Center written by a former Afghan Jihadist. This week, another VOA story struck me, this one carrying a headline you expect to see in the Taliban Times, not in a government media organization with ‘America’ in its name.

The Taliban challenging the president’s account may be a story, but describing them as ‘refuting it’ is taking sides and once again, the Voice of America picks the anti-American side.
The VOA story offers nothing more than the Taliban’s flat denial. That’s a denial, not a refutation.
US News and World Report had previously reported that China was conducting a study about deploying troops to Bagram. The Taliban themselves had announced a plan to turn former bases into ‘special economic zones’ for various countries including China. And the VOA had reported on that story.
We all complain about media bias, but the VOA is government media. It operates under the U.S. government and yet it’s pushing enemy propaganda.
How much are U.S. taxpayers on the hook for Ayaz Gul, a fellow in Pakistani, relaying that the Taliban ‘refuted’ Trump?
And is that we should be spending money on?
VOA, PBS, NPR, Al Jazeera, the unholy koran and the rest of the Dirtbagocrat Minitrue Media. WTF is the difference? They all promote islamic jihad and death to America.

It is only bizarre if it doesn’t make sense. It makes perfect sense because we are enemies of progressive government and policies, which have long been bent upon destroying us on every front.
The friend / enemy distinction gives coherence to what has happened to us, as well as what we must do — fight for our very survival. It is ugly, but not bizarre, but I really can’t blame you. On an individual level, people whom I love are liberals, and our friendships have become difficult and estranged of late. But the powers under which we and our enemies work have little of the nuance we bring to our personal relationships.
Yes, our Bizarro World government agencies have become commonplace.

Must have been late 1950s or early 1960s before all the troubles of the 1960s started.
When I was a kid in Milwaukee back in the early 70s, the landlord, whose family lived on the first floor of the huge house I lived in (they were all huge in that neighborhood,) had boxes of old comics up in the attic. My family rented the second floor. I used to love reading those old comics and still remember Bizarro’s goofy face and spiky hair. He was always a smiling and a happy retard. What kind couldn’t love him?
Good times. Milwaukee was culturally way behind CA at the time. It was more like “Happy Days” than “That 70s Show.” There were hippies but I never saw any. My step father found out the VW bus he’d bought had rusted out edges around the bottom of the body when he took me and my brother to some windswept lake on a Winter night and we almost froze to death. We drove straight home and he said he sold it to some hippies the next day for $50. bucks which was more than he paid for it back in ’71 or ’72. He said “they were happy as hell to get it.”
I was only seven and eight when I lived there so I knew nothing about the political and social turmoil of the time.

I would like to see the U.S. fly a shit-load of jets to Bagram, swoop in and shoot the place up, followed by huge C-130s overflowing with supplies and troops and take back what never should have given away. F the Taliban, Biden and the Chinese. We built it, it’s ours.
What is the Taliban going to do about it? Any mumblings from China about Taiwan? Send the same pile of military equipment to Taiwan. Enough pussyfooting around. And screw Zelensk-ee-ee and his stupid country.
Year two of Trump should be the year things change.
We didn’t give Bagram away, we abandoned it. Biden should be hanged by his balls for that alone. We aren’t going back into AFG with C-130’s. As for Taiwan, if that goes kinetic and turns into a full scale bombardment, there won’t be much point in saving it. That’s a fish in a barrel right there. It would be better to airlift the entire population to a new home than spend one day trying to protect it from the Chinese. Yes it’s a big island, but we would not win that one. I don’t see the CCP changing its mind, they will obliterate the island before surrendering it. Some decisions are tough.
What about TSMC? The entire world goes there for its microelectronic chips. I can’t believe we offshored that.

It may be. All but Maricopa and Cochise counties were super conservative back when I left AZ in 2011 and Maricopa was only left because of massive vote fraud. Supposedly other counties have since succumbed to vote fraud but I don’t know.
