The D.C. Holocaust Museum has little to do with the Holocaust. It’s not a Jewish institution, it’s a political institution, and if you doubt that, take a look at its board, which consists of political appointees looking for something to add to their LinkedIn profiles. Now there’s outrage because the previous set of appointees is being shown to the door.
The Trump administration has begun firing at least some of former President Joseph R. Biden Jr.’s appointees to the board that oversees the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum, including Douglas Emhoff, the husband of former Vice President Kamala Harris, and other senior Biden White House officials.
“Today, I was informed of my removal from the United States Holocaust Memorial Council,” Mr. Emhoff said in a statement on Tuesday. “Holocaust remembrance and education should never be politicized. To turn one of the worst atrocities in history into a wedge issue is dangerous — and it dishonors the memory of six million Jews murdered by Nazis that this museum was created to preserve.”
Doug Emhoff is as Jewish as a ham sandwich and the only notable thing about the press release is that it did got the number of Holocaust victims right, which considering how badly he botched the story of Chanukah and virtually every Jewish event proves someone else must have written it for him.
Holocaust remembrance shouldn’t be politicised. Which is why Kamala’s hubby, who has no Jewish connections or ties beyond the memory of his grandmother’s brisket that he keeps bringing up at every Jewish event, shouldn’t have been on the board. Neither should most of these people.
The other officials who were dismissed include Ron Klain, Mr. Biden’s first chief of staff; Tom Perez, the former labor secretary and senior adviser to Mr. Biden; Susan Rice, the national security adviser to former President Barack Obama and Mr. Biden’s top domestic policy adviser who led a major national strategic effort to counter antisemitism; and Anthony Bernal, a senior adviser to Jill Biden, the former first lady.
Tom Perez? Susan Rice? Neither are Jewish or have any obvious connection to the Holocaust. Jill Biden’s senior adviser? This is beyond ridiculous. Then again the same holds true for nearly everyone on the board including Bernie Sanders: the leading congressional advocate for a second Holocaust.
Good catch Daniel !!!
What’s sad to contemplate is Bush43 also thinks that Trump is wrong to stick it to these thankless, entitled pricks.
The RINO Right is so wedded to the “smile and take it” ethos.
MAGA is more geared to the “FAFO” schtick.
Susan Rice? Who would be quite happy if the fakestinians managed to complete the Final Solution?
Oh, good choice for that job. /sarc off
Susan Rice? Appointing her – and Emhoff – was truly scraping the bottom of the barrel.
Then he proceeded to refer to President Trump as Hitler, and his voters as nazis.
“Holocaust Remembrance Should Never be Politicized”

ASWB Exam Tips: Spotting Absolute Language
https://socialworktestprep.com/blog/2023/july/17/aswb-exam-tips-spotting-absolute-language/
First problem is the ABSOLUTE language should have been a give away. As a supposedly highly intelligent person (esquire) he should have thought about exception. He should have thought if this was an exception and why. He should have thought if it was an exception then he needs to explain why.
Second problem is most things need to be marketed.. If it is legal, it should be marketed. The problem being is right-sizing the marketing to fit. I do not want to be reminded of the Holocaust or Holocaust Museum, but there is some periodicity to which it should be done.
Greenfield is right. Doug did this to burnish his linked in resume.
Says the man whose non-Jewish daughter raises millions of dollars for Hamas to continue exterminating Jews.
Goodbye to the old guard, but does anyone think the replacements will be non-political? It’s a political world.
Isn’t that what you want? Someone who is an actual advocate?
At some point the arguments and talking need censoring, not because discussion isn’t important, but because right and wrong have to be acted on.
Placing people on a board who show little ability to do anything but mangle any good intentions, evolution or purpose and block education about a people’s history and hence empowerment don’t belong controlling other people’s history. Maybe for some, the fact they use language as the core mechanism to accomplish malignant betrayal and have no passion for the core subject, using the the usual suspects deflecting and other bureaucratic tools to be indirect, can be confused with toleration of different viewpoints and always good and therefore justification for keeping them on the board. Make no mistake, their presence was always meant as one thing, an insult and an extremely political one. And we know most of that lot can best be defined by the simple summation, they really ,really hate Jews.
