After opening the border to millions of invaders and welcoming in everyone from Al Qaeda members to drug cartel members, the open borders crowd finally found refugees it won’t take.

The media, which had spent the past decade suggesting that anyone questioning the arrival of millions of people from drug and terror states was a bigot is warning against refugees whose government just passed a law allowing it to confiscate their property because of their race.

The problem with this particular group of refugees is their skin color. They’re white. And they’re fleeing a Communist regime that turned the country into a war zone where the power is only occasionally on and where 72 people are murdered every day by gangs and racist militias.

When President Trump offered asylum to Afrikaners, there was outrage even though they met every possible criteria for refugee status..They face constant violence, discriminatory treatment, land seizures, life in refugee camps and constant calls for genocide by the ruling racial majority.

“The expropriation of land without compensation is envisaged as one of the measures that we will use to accelerate redistribution of land to black South Africans,” President Cyril Ramaphosa vowed. The people whose land was being redistributed were white South Africans.

But the arrival of 54 members of the minority group of Dutch-descended people was met with suspicion and hostility by the media which had welcomed every previous refugee group. A media outlet warned of an “influx of white South Africans within days.” 54 Afrikaner refugees are an “influx” but millions of migrants, many of them violent criminals, are a humanitarian case and not an influx, an invasion or anything to be at all concerned about.

In 2023, 169 migrants invading America were flagged on terror watchlists. In the past few months, several Afghan ‘refugees’ committed stabbing attacks. But leftists are not nearly as concerned about that as they are about 54 people, many with families in America, coming here.

According to NPR, these “white descendants of mainly Dutch colonizers” are expected to arrive within days from anonymous sources who “did not want to be named because they work for the U.S. government and fear for their careers.” The publicly funded media outlet complained that the process of “granting them refugee status has been unusually quick.” But when Biden decided to fly in over 100,000 Afghans, NPR cheered and didn’t complain about the speed.

The Washington Post objected that the dozens of refugees were not sufficiently vetted. No such complaints were made when Biden allowed ISIS and Al Qaeda terrorists into America. The Post whined that the Afrikaners were not “going through a cultural orientation program required of all other refugees before their arrival”. That may be because their culture doesn’t require orientation since they don’t believe that infidels are fair game for rape or mass murder.

During the Biden administration, the standards for asylum hit such a low bar that virtually anyone was eligible. Imaginary categories such as “climate refugees” who were fleeing bad weather and refugees fleeing high-crime nations only to move to Chicago abounded.

The vast majority of migrants being admitted to America had a much weaker case than the Afrikaner refugees because they could not show that they faced political persecution.

The case for granting refugee status to Afrikaners is straightforward. Their rejection by the refugee resettlement industry is an admission of its institutional illegitimacy and racism.

A decade ago, President Zuma, long since ousted, began the celebrations of the African National Congress’s 100-year anniversary with the ritual sacrifice of a bull and after the blood spilled out on the ground, he sang, “Kill the Boer” or “Kill the Farmer.”  The genocidal song continues to be a major feature of South African political life. Julius Malema of the Economic Freedom Fighters, regularly chants it. The EFF won 10% of seats in the last election and its base of support means 1.5 million South African voters want to see white people exterminated.

Current ANC boss Cyril Ramaphosa has refused to condemn calls for white genocide and instead adopted the EFF’s racial land expropriation program originally implemented by Mugabe in Zimbabwe. Earlier this year, South Africa passed a law allowing the government to seize land in the name of “inclusivity”. This was obvious code for racially motivated expropriations.

After President Trump and Elon Musk condemned South Africa’s actions, the media put out fact checks falsely claiming that this was not a law based on race, but President Ramaphosa boasted last year that “through redistribution, around 25% of farmland in our country is now owned by black South Africans, bringing us closer to achieving our target of 30% by 2030.”

Despite just passing a law to seize land from white farmers, South Africa protested the granting of asylum to Afrikaner refugees by arguing that the refugees don’t meet the criteria because they don’t “have a well-founded fear of persecution”. The constant killings of white farmers, the estimated half a million dispossessed farmers and their families living in refugee camps, the calls for their extermination by top South African officials and passing a law seizing their land apparently is not enough to qualify as persecution or to give them grounds for political asylum.

The evidence that Afrikaners are a persecuted minority is undeniable. The Left is not protesting because it doesn’t believe that they’re being persecuted, it believes that they deserve to be persecuted because they’re white and escaping a country run by the African National Congress which has close historical and current ties to South Africa’s Communist Party and is currently allied with the old Communist coalition of China and Russia as well as Hamas.

The Left previously fought against refugee status for people fleeing Communist countries. It’s now doing the same thing in South Africa but with the added spice of a racial element.

The open borders movement that welcomed rapists and terrorists draws the line at law-abiding people with the wrong skin color and the wrong politics. Forget #RefugeesWelcome. The new hashtag is “WhiteRefugeesNotWelcome and #RefugeesFromCommunismNotWelcome.
