India has accused Pakistan of violating a ceasefire agreement, hours after the truce was reached.
India’s foreign secretary Vikram Misri said his country’s armed forces have been “given instructions to deal strongly with violations along the border” after multiple explosions were heard in at least three cities in Indian-controlled Kashmir.
In an address on Saturday evening, Pakistan’s prime minister Shehbaz Sharif did not directly address the allegations, instead saying Pakistan will “do anything” to defend itself if its independence is challenged.
He also said his country had achieved a “historical victory” and praised Pakistan’s army, navy and armed forces.
“Here there is a sort of air of triumphalism… you get the sense that Pakistan feels like it’s the stronger party coming out of this momentm,” correspondent Cordelia Lynch said.
She also explained that the praise for America is only being heard from one side.
“Pakistan has certainly expressed its gratitude to Donald Trump, they claim America played a pivotal role,” Lynch added.
“That is not echoed in New Delhi… they’ve been pretty quiet on America’s involvement.”
“I am going to increase trade, substantially, with both of these great nations. Additionally, I will work with you both to see if, after a ‘thousand years’, a solution can be arrived at concerning Kashmir,” President Trump posted on TruthSocial.
The “solution” is that India retains Kashmir and gets to defend itself against Islamic terrorism. No other solution is needed.
I don’t see why the United States is even involved. We were supposed to stop playing the world’s policeman and being involved in all the world’s conflicts. Instead, we seem to be getting involved in more of them.
Pakistan is an enemy, not an ally, and our relationship with India remains positive, but historically tentative. We have no business even being involved in this conflict. And nothing we do will fundamentally change the fact that Pakistan is an Islamic terrorist state perpetually at war with India.
If India wants to go after Pakistan, that is its business and not ours. And we should stay out of it.
Nor should we be proposing any deals to carve up Kashmir, ditto for Israel and Gaza. Let the countries fighting Islamic terrorism win.

This anti-logic mentality has probably been going on since the 600s. And it appeals to the leftist idiots of today because it’s so much easier to put one’s head in the sand and hope the Muslims “will eat you last” (apologies to W. Churchill)
The left will always nibble on Muslim shlong to facilitate their own survival, but they will eventually come for you because you are still the infidel. Probably went on even before the 600s (before Islam). Something inherent is their tribal culture. Sir Richard Burton wrote about that in the 1800s based on his travels in their countries.
