Dems have taken to blaming the results of the 2024 election solely on Biden’s mental capacity. Not the economy, Kamala or their relentless embrace of 80/20 positions played any kind of roll.

It was all 100% Biden.

But that narrative is inherently problematic since Democrats did a 180 and turned on Biden, insisting that he could not be the candidate, but that it was fine for him to run the country. Apparently running for president has a higher competency bar than actually being president.

And while Dems are happy to embrace Biden-bashing and Biden-blaming, they are really afraid of actual investigations of Biden’s fitness.

Democrats are refusing to participate in the first congressional hearing focusing on allegations of former President Joe Biden’s mental decline while in the White House.

Only Sens. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) and Peter Welch (D-Vt.) attended the kickoff of the Senate Judiciary Committee meeting Wednesday morning, with Durbin, the ranking member, immediately walking out after calling the event a distraction from the real issues in the panel’s purview — such as President Donald Trump’s deployment of the military to respond to immigration protests in Los Angeles.

Sounds credible.

Can they have it both ways though? Blaming the 2024 election on Biden and then refusing to investigate his mental competency?

Obviously they have to have it this way because the Biden administration did too many things that they don’t want to risk seeing come undone. And thus they loudly announce that Biden was unfit, but that we can’t investigate anything he did. Or didn’t do.
