I’m not sure what’s funnier.
That Zohran Mamdani lied to Columbia University that he was black to get in and that it didn’t work. Or that his leftist supporters now have to redefine African-American to mean anyone born in Africa. Including Elon Musk. Playing into every joke about affirmative action.
But the funniest or saddest thing may be that 2009 Columbia University had higher standards than the 2025 New York Democratic Party.
Considering that Mahmood Mamdani, Zohran’s father, was on the Columbia faculty, the New York Dem Party’s pick for mayor’s decision to lie that he was black was quite stupid. And I think there are good odds that they would have run these applications past someone black who wasn’t going to buy Zohran as a black man. That may help explain why Zohran didn’t get in. That or his grades were truly horrendous.
Considering that Zohran Mamdani is already doing poorly with black people, and he’s running against a black candidate, this can’t help.
Still he and his people are vocally insisting that marking himself as ‘African/Black’ was fine.
Asked to identify his race, he checked a box that he was “Asian” but also “Black or African American”… In an interview on Thursday, Mr. Mamdani, 33, said he did not consider himself either Black or African American, but rather “an American who was born in Africa.”
Mamdani only got citizenship fairly recently, so neither the American nor the African part are true. He was a Muslim from the Indian subcontinent who happened to be born in Africa.
And no one believes he was stupid enough to think that checking the “Black or African American” box was fine or that he had a ‘Ugandan’ background after his people were kicked out.
Still the Left is going to now argue that Mamdani really is African-American.
Between him, Rachel Dolezal, Shaun King and Kamala Harris, Black Power isn’t what it used to be.
Mamdani is black and African like Bernie Sanders’s father was Polish.
Investigate and deport.
This is good news. Now all of the South African Farmers who are fleeing oppression will be considered “African” refugees. Right?

Everything he says is a lie, except when he talks about destroying America and hate speech.
The fact that I saw this this morning as a New York Times story on Google News pretty much convinced me that the Dem party doesn’t want him.
What’s even funnier is that the Muslim tribes of Africa are in fact committing genocide against the black tribes of Africa.
It wasn’t funny before Operation Moses rescued the Black Jews. But now that the Jews have been ransomed out ( most likely Mamzer’s parents got some of that pay out ) , HaHa HaHa 😂

In the “Jim Crow” era of official race discrimination against blacks, a popular Hollywood movie– “Imitation of Life” (1959)– spotlighted the queer cultural phenomenon called “passing.” That’s when a light-skinned black person severed all social and cultural ties and re-invented him/her self as “white.” Now that the script has been flipped and government officially discriminates against white people in the name of DEI diversity or whatever, “passing” has adapted with the times. Nowadays, people who are not black have taken to “passing” for black in order to cash in on government enforced black privilege. Behold the perverse “progress” that woke Democ-rats (yesterday’s Dixiecrats) have wrought: Jim Crow has become Crow Jim.
MORE…. I worked with a “white” guy, born to missionary parents in Kenya. Kenya recognized him as a citizen. Dual citizenship. Is he African? African-American? Is he entitled to “reparations?” He does not wave a Kenyan flag.
I am weary of peoples flag waving liniage. If you live in, are a citizen of the USA, be proud of your history. DON’T rub it in my face. (that applies to you, too, LGBTQ+++)
Just celebrate and enjoy the freedom of America.

He didn’t have to lie. If he had just said “communist,” “anti-Semite,” and “non-American” he would have been a shoe-in to be accepted at Columbia.
Yawn…….ZZZzzzzzzz….. He will get a pass on this. There could be a video of him flipping Jewish babies off a pitch fork and they would still give him a pass.
Unfortunately this doofus will only serve as an example to the Muslims to groom better deceivers for public office.
