1 in 3 Americans feel lonely every week and 1 in 5 feel lonely every day. Less than half of households are headed by married couples and the marriage rate hovers at 16.7. 63% of single people are not looking for a relationship and the majority of Gen Z didn’t date as teenagers.
As I previously noted, the rate of unwed teenage mothers is much less of an issue because rates of intimacy have dropped. Abortion rates are also less of an issue (until they were goosed by liberal activism). Relationships, even of the kind that conservatives used to decry, are rapidly disappearing.
The results are clocking in.
The U.S. fertility rate dropped to an all-time low to 1.6 children per woman in 2024, according to data released Thursday by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Fertility rates declined for women and girls ages 15-34 between 2023 and 2024, remained unchanged for women ages 35-39 and rose for women ages 40-44, the data show.
Those are European rates. We’re bumping up against the UK’s fertility rate. And that’s an extinction rate. It’s one of the ways in which we’re becoming more and more like Europe.
And, like Europe, those rates combine numbers for high-fertility immigrant populations, especially from enemy nations, and the native population, which means the actual rates are lower than they seem.
It also means that the cliff is much closer than it seems.

You have to view homosexuality in a larger context. Similar to abortion, it’s a bullet point in the globalists agenda to reduce the world’s population from it’s current number of 8+ billion people down to around 500 million people, give or take a few hundred million. A number that the globalists have deemed a more sustainable world population number.
They prefer to reach that number through attrition but short of that, the alternative is global nuclear war which would achieve their goal posthaste but ultimately damage the surface of the planet, particularly arable land, for several centuries and that’s a best case scenario.

Is it really a drop in fertility or an increase in abortions? In a macroscopic sense, one equals the other. No matter how you look at it the end result is the same.
What’s disturbing to me is the nonchalant attitude many people (the usual suspects) have towards what is in effect genocide. So much so that “genocide”, under the guise of abortion, is no considered a “right.”
Again I ask: Why is prenatal murder considered a “right” and postnatal murder considered a felony? A question that no one seems to want to answer. Perhaps it’s a perilous question that’s best left unanswered. .

Their methods and practices are about as scientific as the “science” practiced in a slaughter house or a butcher shop. One can even argue that a butcher shop is more humane than an abortion “clinic.”
By the way, given the definition of the word “clinic”, a baby slaughter house can hardly be regarded as a “clinic.”
Yet it’s an individual, not just a blob of tissue if it’s an endangered species.
Why would anyone want to have children in a world that the left has created? What does it offer for them?
Poverty, crime and homelessness is the predictable result of the liberal policies. There is no utopia.

Congratulations. You have unwittingly justified abortion AND suicide. You words warms the hearts of leftists and the ruling class elites.
Look no further than China or Japan and our future comes into view. The age pyramid is getting upsidedown and will be a major contributor to our demise (as if we need any more).
It’s just my opinion and by no means a provable fact, but I think our birthrates are dropping so because all social trust has pretty much evaporated in our countries, due to such intense political polarization that we are afraid to talk to each other anymore for fear of saying the wrong thing and being branded a racist, a fascist, a Nazi, or an Islamophobe, and so we have no connection to those around us anymore, and this is exasperated by the floods of illegals coming into our countries as well, who’s cultures and values are flatly incompatible with ours, (Muslims) and this lowers social trust still more.
So we end up living in very lonely and isolated societies with no friends or anyone to be connected to, while self-censoring to avoid any conflict. This is also why our birthrate has dipped below replacement level. The Left has long trumpeted that diversity is our greatest strength, but in fact it’s only their greatest strength as it multiplies the ways available to them to divide us all against each other. Their strategy has had a profoundly negative effect on all of western civilization, which is is their mission to erase.

That’s part of it, the other is the sheer cost of having children these days.
Unless you’re a single mother being subsidized to pump out offspring it is simply too expensive to raise much more than one child.
Housing is too expensive, education is too expensive, healthcare is too expensive, childcare is to expensive, the list goes on.
If governments subsidized married couples to the same extent they finance single mothers there would be an increase in the birth rate.
Of course the best way to do that would be getting rid of a huge number of the taxes, rules, regulations, and just plain governmental bureaucratic inefficiency and incompetence.
