Social justice kills. Either directly or indirectly.
While the forecast for Buffalo was dire, given where the city was positioned in relation to the bomb cyclone forming across the Midwest and how the storm would interact with the waters of Lake Erie, questions are being raised about how well officials prepared for the storm.
Good news though, Mayor Byron W. Brown has “a vision that embraces inclusiveness, equity and opportunity” and “implemented a number of social justice reforms throughout his administration including the Buffalo Reform Agenda, a community-driven outline for achievable initiatives to continue to shift the City of Buffalo’s law enforcement culture to a restorative model”.
That must be why looters are running wild and the military police are enforcing driving bans.
Buffalo also sued gun manufacturers for shootings. None of that virtue signaling prepared the government for how to handle a storm.
Instead of preparing for real problems, Buffalo spent its time dismantling safeguards, alienating police and pushing woke buzzwords.
These are the consequences.
Perfect example of radical leftist progressives in action.
It’s black racism. To the point where black criminals can get away with their crimes.
It will not stop until black racism is called out and fought against.
This is not really an accurate portrayal of the Buffalo Mayor. I live in Buffalo and yes, while the Mayor did use the rhetoric attributed by Daniel Greenfield to him and such rhetoric is misplaced, he is not a far leftist and he has opposed far leftists on multiple occasions. The bigger problem in Buffalo is the Erie County Executive (Mark Poloncarz) and the Governor (Kathy Hochul). Poloncarz endorsed the Socialist Buffalo Mayoral Candidate (India Walton) that Brown defeated. Poloncarz wanted National Guardsmen to be used to ticket the people of Buffalo and the Mayor objected because he did not want people who were getting food and who wanted to check on their elderly parents to be ticketed. Thus Poloncarz threw a fit and is now taking aim at Brown. The media don’t want Brown because they hate him for stopping the Socialist/Communist India Walton from being elected.
Hochul dropped the ball because she called in the National Guard too late.
The City also relies on the County of Erie (run by Poloncarz) in part and thus, to focus only on the City instead of examining Poloncarz and the County also is misplaced.
The whole State of New York is a schitte hole and everyone knows it. You all had a chance to make a change with Lee Zeldin, so you reap what you sow. We know how this ends. NY declares bankruptcy and goes to the Feds to bail them out. BTW, whatever happened to the Conga Line of accusers of sexual deviancy with Cuomo and the decision to return Covid infected patients to nursing homes? What there a cover-up involved in reporting the deaths?
Another Comment. Brown is also one of the few Democratic Leaders to try to take on Looting during this storm. Brown formed an Anti Looting Task Force and is one of the few leaders to condemn Looting.
And that “task force” did absolutely nothing. Typical Dirtbagocrat PR deception.
I don’t think Mayor Byron W. Brown’s inaction had anything to do with his dei, rather he is simply incompetent and unfit for the job, a nincompoop. Isn’t dei great? Not.
Radical leftist progressives??? And here I thought it was because of “climate change”.
And as usual, it was ordinary people who paid the price for their incompetence and whacko perfidy, not them.
And you don’t even need to do a web search to know da Mayor, Byron W. Brown, is a black affirmative action politician. He’s the one who should’ve frozen to death or died from carbon monoxide poisoning because his city provided car was buried under snow.
Anybody who voted for that incompetent, scumbag imbecile deserved to die, too. People who die because they’re stupid tend to be Dirtbagocrats, and other leftists so I reckon most of the fatalities were.
But in other news out of the Queen City……Go Bills.
This article is also misplaced because Brown also opposed defunding the police and opposed leftists who wanted to defund the police. And he was very vocal about that. Socialist/Communist Buffalo Mayoral candidate India Walton (whom Brown defeated by a Write In campaign) was endorsed by multiple Democrats, including Buffalo Congressman Brian Higgins and Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz. Brown is not a far leftist. It is others in the Democratic Party (see Higgins and Poloncarz above—-I’d add Kathy Hochul to the list as well) that are the primary problem, not Brown. That being said, I do agree the rhetoric used by Brown cited by Greenfield is misplaced and that suing gun manufacturers is misplaced also (but these are issues not unique to Brown but to almost all Democratic Party leaders generally). Just trying to set the record straight as I live in Buffalo and have lived there for 56 years and the entirety of Brown’s tenure as Mayor.
What does any of that have to do with the fact that da Mayor, Bown, is incompetent and caused more than one hundred deaths so far? Buffalo had what, two weeks advance warning that the blizzard was coming?
I hate it when people defend incompetence and scumbaggery. Brown is a RACIST, woke moron and bane on the city of Buffalo. He should be thrown out of office and into court on negligent homicide charges. Fuck him and fuck you. Over one hundred people and counting DEAD and most of those deaths COULD’VE and SHOULD’VE been prevented. You care more about defending Brown than those deaths and don’t claim otherwise because everybody on this comment thread would know you’re lying.
Unprepared for Storm, this stuff not only kills but takes down entire countries and they can tell themselves they’re good people.
Because they’re still alive to tell themselves that, while the people they helped kill can’t.
Have you ever seen a people that spent as much time affirming that they’re good people? The media gets some of the credit obviously.
That’s pretty regular in Canada. Actually I had completely forgotten it snowed a bunch like a week ago. Maybe you guys should try like a snow removal truck and maybe mittens. Many stores in Canada he get an old Durango with a scoop up front to clean snow themselves.
It’s just cold water stuff put an extra sweater.
They know that in Buffalo too, because it’s one of the coldest cities in America. The city government there is incompetent, negligent, and callous. Not surprising with an affirmative action mayor.
I like your comment.
Thanks Una, that’s a good point. I don’t remember any good people that I knew who spent time affirming that they were good people.
A snow job, truly,
Good one. That’s funny.
Not just good but superior.
People are what they’ve always been.
When the people realise that they are what they are then you get the transhuman or posthuman movement. That’s people.
Are the leftists ever actually ready for anything, but the revolution?
Maybe the mayor of Buffalo will be so principled as to inform his constituents who is grossly overrepresented among the looters.
When the stores close down, we’ll get lectures about “food deserts” and “drug store deserts” yet those laying false claim to the higher moral ground will deny who is truly responsible for making it so costly to operate a business.
Perhaps now would be a great time to bring up Bonhoeffer’s theory of stupidity as the most dangerous of human attributes:
Great video. Thanks for posting. On the upside, we simply must be getting close to peak stupid. On the downside, we will only get out of it through much hardship and possibly violence, whether internally or imposed by outside forces made reckless by seeing our stupidity.
At one time I knew a dozen or more Ivy League professors (Harvard, Princeton, Cornell, and Yale.) They were, without exception, very bright and also some of the least well educated people I had ever encountered. At least that was my opinion then. Now, after having watched the Bonhoeffer video, I realize that they were merely stupid.
Great video!
Stupidity is universal
Obviously this neglects to mention that people are more easily controlled through whatever they call hope
Wasn’t hope the last and greatest plague in Pandora’s box? The Greeks had a rather tragic view of the world.
Yes, the ancient Greeks saw the world for what it is.
Thanks Kynarion Hellenis. My own current theory is that people are born with little understanding of the world (born ignorant), so projects like THX is always talking about, for a philosophical revolution, are pretty much futile. My own little project for 45 years or so has been to get courses in symbolic logic included in high school curriculums, one can see how little progress has been made 🙂
The Chinese company ByteDance promotes social media encouraging the kind of thing you propose, while simultaneously advancing stupidity and the moral filth that comes with it in the U.S. If you are interested, look up Tik Tok versus Douyin (Chinese version of Tik Tok).
Symbolic logic sounds like a wonderful tool to present that discipline so that the uninitiated would quickly understand its basic principles.
Stupidity and media constant brainwashing
Hmm. Maybe we should call their iconic chicken “Buffalo Left Wings”.
That’s funny as F. Good one.
What is taking Hochul so long to blame it on someone or somethiing else?
She already has. It’s anthropogenic climate change. Obviously.
The weather is so impressed with that moron social justice policies
Yeah, the blizzard was nature’s Christmas gift to those destructive morons.
Black Privilege. The rules of civilization do not apply. We have an illegitimate government from top to bottom. Our illegitimate government refuses to do the only thing they are required to do – to protect us from predators – to protect our Freedom. Instead, our illegitimate government does nothing but manipulate, lie, create diversions, and foster chaos. . It’s time fo rVigilante Justice
Apologies for my nonsensical rant
And some Nit-Wits was telling us it would Never Snow Again over this Global Warming climate Change load of Malarkey and all climate change advocates should tale a a look at Buffalo this is just like what happened to them back in the winter of 1976/77
Usually. Some people change over time, often multiple times. I notice it takes outside influences, especially adverse ones, to cause the changes though. Beneficial influences can cause a person to change, too.
