Pro-crime policies work. They always work.
Minneapolis Police records showed there have been 2,725 auto thefts so far in 2023, compared to 1,306 last year at this time.
What could the home of famous drug overdose victim George Floyd be doing right to make that happen?
“I bet 14 or 16 years old, came up, had guns, like right into, you know, my stomach, and all I could look at was the gun,” Craig Boettcher said.
He was one of the 755 victims attacked in the Twin Cities last year. We know stories like his well.
“They said ‘Give us your keys or we’ll kill you,'” Boettcher said.
Minneapolis Police report 655 carjackings last year alone. They resulted in 91 arrests. At least one 18 year old was arrested three times. Our investigation found he was charged twice.
During one police interview, a suspect said it was only a misdemeanor. Police clarified it’s a felony. The suspect admitted, “Every time I get caught in a stolen [car] (they) drop it down to a misdemeanor.”
“Now I have to look at everybody as somebody who could threaten or kill me, instead of helping people,” Boettcher said.
He hopes there’s a solution before more innocent people are hurt.
There’s a solution. It’s called getting tough on criminals, raising penalties, throwing the book at offenders, especially repeat offenders, locking them up and keeping them locked up.
Tough-on-crime policies work. So do pro-crime policies.
Cities that have allowed leftist pro-crime policies to define them are turning into miserable crime-ridden hellholes.
Go armed. Even if it’s illegal. It’s better to break a law than be dead. Dead is forever.
But its against company policy to arm myself while on the job, what can I do?
Ha Ha company policy—what a joke. Get armed.
):…………………..
I have to be alive for them to fire me. But that’s not a problem where I work. I taught the owner to shoot in 6th grade. Most of our employees carry firearms, and have them in our vehicles, lockers, or in our desks, even the women. There’s a rifle/pistol/shotgun slug range less than a mile from our shop, and we often practice at lunch.
They will kill you. I had a friend (SF Bay Area) who tried to burn some black street-corner drug dealers, took their dope, then tried to speed away in his car without paying. They killed him.
Really? That’s f up! damn, man.
Yeah, really. It still bothers me.
Car thefts are on the rise nationwide. Look it up. Your ascribing a causal link between protesting the murder of George Floyd and car theft rise is spurious and dishonest.
Obviously the rise is more pronounced in large cities, where most cars are. And obviously most large cities are run by Democrats, since the populations of large cities tend to be more diverse and better educated.
Pay attention to the response your rhetoric unleashes; e.g., your readers suggesting that it’s ok to kill someone for stealing a car.
As of a couple of years ago, trespassing has become a capital crime. Ask Ashli Babbitt….oh wait…..we can’t.
It’s ok to kill someone for threatening your life over a car.
Thanks Noah. Moosehorn obviously doesn’t know what a dangerous crime carjacking is.
Unleash the rhetoric! If you don’t think it’s ok to kill someone for stealing a car, make sure car jackers and thieves are safe in prison. It is ok in San Antonio, where a guy used Apple Airtag to find his stolen truck and kill the guy who stole it, and where I live. Say, people who think otherwise can get “Gun Free Zone” bumper stickers. If it saves one criminal’s life…
Those weren’t protests, they were riots. ‘Tards like you said, “it’s just property,” but it represents a portion of someone’s life. If my property isn’t worth your life, don’t try to steal, destroy, or rob me of it.
A thug ready to carjack you should also be presumed to be willing to kill you.
The public is better off without his existence. The authorities can assure that by doing their jobs and locking him up. Or we end up with our current society where criminals are being killed in confrontations with citizens.
You fucking retard. Big blue cities tend to to be more “diverse” and better educated? They’re retard dens. Scum like you breed there.
Yeah, I was surprised, after leaving big city with mega budget in SF Bay Area, but inefficient at solving elementary problems (like drainage, potholes), while my current little rural city with tiny budget is very efficient at solving such problems.
Suck it up Minneapolis, you’re getting exactly what you wanted, fast and hard. I loved that news story about the SanFran council member who ran on, and voted on defunding the Police. Now she’s whining for more police in her district amid the predictable violent crime surge that resulted. Darwin take you fools.
The only cars safe for the environment turn out to be those taken by force from their owners.
