Diversity/Equity/Inclusion: The Demise of Higher Education?

Description: There's growing evidence that U.S. universities have shifted their long-standing mission from pursuing truth and disseminating knowledge to the promotion of social activism based on the ideology of diversity, equity, and inclusion. This canceled professor will address this ideology sweeping across universities and its implications for students, professions, and society as a whole.

CHARLES NEGY was a tenured associate professor of psychology at the University of Central Florida (UCF) for 22 years. In response to unpopular tweets posted on his personal twitter account a week following George Floyd's death, Black Lives Matter and ally activists demanded UCF to fire him. UCF's newly-appointed President eagerly complied with their demands and he was de-tenured and fired in January of this year. His area of expertise has been the psychological well-being of ethnic and sexual minorities. He also is a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of Florida.
