Tolerance, respect, debate, and civil discourse have been replaced with violence, property destruction, and the repression of dissenting voices. Even worse, Jews are once again being targeted—on college campuses, street corners, and beyond—simply for being Jewish.
My parents and grandparents survived World War II in Lithuania and Germany. They were later recognized as “Righteous Among the Nations”—Gentiles who helped save Jews during the Holocaust.
I still remember speaking with my father on his deathbed after we had learned the details of their story. I asked him, “Why?” His response left a lasting impression: “We didn’t help them because they were Jews. We helped them because they were humans being wrongly persecuted—just because they were Jews.”
On a trip to Israel with now Ambassador Mike Huckabee, we visited Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum. Governor Huckabee had informed the staff there that I was part of his group. They located a son of a Holocaust survivor whom my parents had helped save. Alongside him, and as the Son of a Righteous, we laid a wreath at the Eternal Flame. Many other survivors gathered—some of whom had also withstood the Vilna and Kovno ghettos, from where my family helped young girls escape the Holocaust.
As I walked through the Garden of the Righteous with a family now living in Haifa—a family that would not exist were it not for mine—I could only wonder and pray: would my family and I have the same courage, fortitude, and character to help complete strangers…simply because it was the right thing to do?
Upon returning home, I shared my experience with my family. My son and I launched a passion project we’ve called the Next Generations Project. Our goal is to develop and activate a network of both Gentiles and Jews who share a unique, personal, and historical connection through their parents, grandparents, or great-grandparents to this tragedy—and to ensure it never happens again.
And yet now, some 60 years later, we are once again seeing students, shopkeepers, pedestrians, and others persecuted… because they are Jews. No concentration camps yet—but we are seeing physical violence, threats, and harassment—here in America. Think about that: here in America, where liberty, freedom, and tolerance have long been our tradition. The country that once welcomed millions fleeing persecution is now spiraling into an environment few could have imagined just a decade ago.
Western values—Judeo-Christian values that made America great—are being turned against us. Wear a hat someone doesn’t like, drive a car made by someone they disagree with, express an unpopular opinion on campus, or worse yet, wear a kippah or grow a beard that identifies you as Jewish… and beware.
As we watch the terror unfold online or on TV from the safety of our homes, we must remember: such hate created the conditions that made the Holocaust possible. And we must never forget the bravery and righteousness of those who choose to do the right thing.
So what about us?

Those that don’t understand the root philosophical causes of the Holocaust or of genocide are condemned to repeat them.

Judaism and Christianity are NOT Western, they are Eastern, they are Oriental. Judaism, Christianity, and Islam all come from the Orient and invaded and destroyed the Greco-Roman West.
If only Yahweh and Allah would both go back to the Oriental desert where they belong and perish there.
Deport Yahweh and Allah from the West and build a great wall between the West and the Orient.

BEN SHAPIRO and DENNIS PRAGER
and ALAN DERSHOWITZ and DAVE RUBIN, and
BARI WEISS whenever they talk about the new rise in antiSemitism in the world,
literally never mention
the rise and control of the neonazis and white supremacists in UKRAINE. The use of NAZI symbols by many military groups in Ukraine. How they subscribe to the Stephan Bandera ideology.
According to Bandera ideology Jews are UNTERMENSCHEN(subhumans).
Stephan Bandera is an official national hero in Ukraine.
According to white supremacists,and some are not nazis, some are, Jews are NOT white,all Jews,even Western Jews. Thus inferior.
The fact almost no Jewish intellectuals,including ISRAELI ones mention this,shows the intellectual bankruptcy of modern Jewish civilization. An ideological fanaticism. A general stupidity. In the future people will wonder at the stupidity.
Would you also include Russian neo-Nazis “ Rusich” and the “Imperial Legion” fighting against Ukraine in your condemnations?

Though you fancy yourself an intellectual and an atheist, the vast volume of commentary with which you have littered these pages shows the opposite:

* You do indeed have your own god. Ayn Rand. Therefore it is impossible for you to comprehend objective truth
outside of her philosophical works. Your posts bear this out, consistently.
Yahweh – and the collective followers of Yahweh are historically and categorically NOT like Allah and Allah’s adherents. One is a Protector of His people, inviting others into fellowship. The other is a terrorizing destroyer of all that is good and righteous, subjugating and persecuting even his own people.
Their scriptures are wholly incompatible. They are not called to the same purpose. One has consistently despised and murdered the other with bloodlust and vigor throughout history.

Most of us ignore your commentary and avoid interacting with you, primarily because it is futile and fruitless.
As I like to note, The christian God is The Word, Logos, while allah is pure arbitrary will. Can’t get anymore opposite than that. For all of our advanced civiliization and technology, we have forgotten our foundations.
This situation of hate on the streets gives a new insight to 20’s and ’30s Germany. Many people say that Germans are evil and susceptible to mass movements etcetera. The actual numbers of people in the street here are small. But the media has clients that pay to support these ideas and we are inundated with it. Many of the “protestors” are paid as well.
Most people have enough trouble living day to day and do not have the time to get involved. The Nazi party only got 43% of the vote AFTER they controlled the German government. People just closed their doors and kept a low profile.
Today our academic group that is subsidized by tax dollars have allowed their hatred for normal people to show on the street. We are aghast but do or say nothing to the politicians that control the funds. Jews are the convenient scapegoat and curtain to hide those that lust for power. The pathetic thing is that if these people are confronted on the street they run.
My biggest fear is that we turn into little britain and allow the police/politicians to eliminate our rights. “a whiff of grapeshot” is always effective. We shall see.
