As Israeli planes and pilots in the sky, and Mossad agents on land, inflict tremendous damage on Iran’s nuclear project, ensuring that Iran will not soon, if ever, acquire nuclear weapons, the world is mostly ungrateful. Instead there will be a chorus of leaders insisting that the parties — that is, Israel — “exercise restraint.” That’s to be expected. The responses from the international community to Israel’s brilliant and audacious attack on Iran’s nuclear program are predictable.
The French Foreign Minister said, “We call on all parties to exercise restraint and avoid any escalation that could compromise regional stability.”
The French foreign minister has things backward. By destroying Iran’s nuclear project, Israel will have made the Middle East, and the world, much more stable. Imagine the Supreme Leader with nuclear weapons, a threat not just to Israel, but to Sunni Arab states of the Gulf, and to the American military in bases throughout the region. Iran would also still have its ballistic missiles, that could carry those nuclear weapons as far as London. Is that anyone’s idea of “stability”?
Keir Starmer, UK PM, said, “Escalation serves no one in the region. Stability in the Middle East must be the priority and we are engaging partners to de-escalate. Now is the time for restraint, calm and a return to diplomacy.”
No, the “priority” is to make sure that the despotic Islamic regime of the mullahs does not acquire the most potent weapon of mass destruction — nuclear bombs. For the past two decades, the world has tried “restraint” to convince Iran to give up its nuclear project. Iran has constantly put the world off, and most recently, has been dragging out negotiations over its uranium enrichment program with the United States, using the time to continue to build up its stockpile of uranium enriched to a level of 60%, that is just one step below weapons-grade. The IAEA has just declared that Iran is in serious violation of its commitments, and has been lying to the IAEA about its nuclear program.
The Australian Foreign Minister said, “This risks further destabilising a region that is already volatile. We call on all parties to refrain from actions and rhetoric that will further exacerbate tensions.”
Again, we have the same demand from Australia as from France and the UK: don’t keep fighting — though not named, the intended recipient is embattled Israel — because that will “destabilize” the region. But the Middle East is already the most destabilized region of the world, precisely because of Iran’s aggressive behavior since 1979, including its support for the terror groups Hamas in Gaza, Hezbollah in Lebanon, and the Houthis in Yemen.
New Zealand’s Prime Minister said, “It’s a really unwelcome development in the Middle East. The risk of miscalculation is high. That region does not need any more military action, and risk associated with that.”
Israel’s brilliant and breathtaking attack on Iran is “unwelcome”? Only to someone devoid of moral and geopolitical sense. By attacking Iran’s nuclear program, Israel is saving both itself and the rest of the world from an outlaw regime that, if it possessed nuclear weapons, would not hesitate to use them. As for that claim that the “risk of miscalculation is high” to which the prime minister of New Zealand refers, how does he know that the IDF, which appears to have planned its attack in meticulous detail, down to the very apartment inhabited by this general or that nuclear scientist, has “miscalculated the risk”? Is he privy to the IDF’s senior leaders’ decision-making?
Japan’s Foreign Minister said, “The government strongly condemns this action, which escalates the situation.”
Again, we hear that idiotic charge that Israel’s attack on Iran “escalates the situation.” Well, I suppose that any country that launches a preemptive attack on an aggressor who has demonstrated that he is rushing to acquire nuclear weapons in order, precisely, to use them on that country, is “escalating”the conflict, just the way the United States “escalated” its fight against Imperial Japan after Pearl Harbor, or Ukraine “escalated” its fight against Russia after the Russians invaded and seized one-fifth of Ukraine’s land area.
Plus the unanimous Arab condemnations of Israel….
The Arab states are in a different class. The Sunni states of the Gulf condemned pro forma Israel’s attack, but most of them, including Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain, and Kuwait, are delighted to see Israel destroy Iran’s ability to manufacture nuclear weapons which, they know, could have been used to threaten them.Comment:
Diplomacy did not protect Israel from attacks that began each of the three wars that the Jewish state had to fight for its very survival — in 1948, when the UN did nothing to prevent five Arab armies from invading the nascent state of Israel; in 1967, when the UN did as Nasser demanded and removed its peacekeeping troops from the Sinai, so that Egypt’s army could invade Israel without having the UN soldiers in the way; and in 1973, when the UN did not condemn the surprise attack on Israel launched by Egypt and Syria, and only called for a ceasefire after Israel had turned a defeat into a victory. Diplomacy at the UN has gained Israel nothing; the UN has become an endless series of sessions of a kangaroo court, with Israel perennially in the dock.
When the hurly-burly’s done, and the battle’s lost and won, when Israel emerges victorious and Iran is stripped of both its nuclear program and its ballistic missiles, perhaps a few of those countries and diplomats who are now are counseling “restraint” by Israel will recognize their past folly, and admit that they were wrong. It is pleasant to think so.
The evil Left lacks common sense because they embroil themselves

Hence all the Globalist leaders “calls for restraint” in this article.
To any rational person on Earth, common sense dictates that the
Muslim maniac mullahs in Iran must never acquire a nuclear bomb.

One must never forget that while Iran wants Death to America and

My initial reaction was to be concerned about the attack but I’m probably wrong about that. Israel was, once again, brave and accurate in her response.
But it is the right, the Woke Right or libertarians or that loud crowd of anti-Israel ninnies who are objecting. “The Republican party is dead if Trump helps Israel” it is “not our war” “Israel you do it, we will not be involved -America first” They all believe it will be a 20 year long war by hated “neocons” and that Iran has no nukes. Or it is WWIII. Iran chants “Death to America.” So, it is, in fact, America’s fight.
Some follow noxious long time haters like Bannon, Kirk, Posobiac not to mention Carlson and Owens. We don’t know which of those get paychecks, perhaps Iran itself, but they all seem to root for Iran.
Well… satanic islamic Pakistan and Turkey both have Nuclear Weapons… and with the evidence of small Kiloton weapons… a city could be destroyed easily…
The question remains… who besides the USA has such weapons? Referred to as “suitcase” nuclear weapons
And… would Turkey or Pakistan share their technology?
Turkey is not a nuclear weapons state. The U.S. has roughly 50 B61 nuclear bombs stored at Incirlik Airbase in southern Turkey, but these are completely under the control of the U.S.
Pakistan, on the other hand, is most certainly a nuclear weapons state thanks to the Chinese. If anyone thinks that Islamists don’t yet have nuclear weapons, someone should point them to Pakistan. This is one of the most dangerous countries on the planet, and it would not be surprising if a future war between Pakistan and India involved a nuclear exchange. They have fought four wars already — 1947–1948, 1965, 1971, and 1999. The Kargil War in 1999 was fought when both nations had nuclear weapons but there was no nuclear exchange. That war ended with a decisive Indian victory.
Pakistan has threatened to use nuclear weapons on Israel, if Israel uses them on Iran. Given Israel’s principled stance on avoiding harming civilians, I don’t think there’s much likelihood of that – but what’s the betting that Iran, Pakistan or both will claim that it has happened?
It is just another program to get clicks and publicity for politicians. It obviously signifies nothing. What does New Zealand have to fear? Lack of attention!
Lack of attention is one of the worst social stigmas a “progressive” can suffer.
As a New Zealander I’m constantly embarrased by the utterances of our politicians. Our population is similar to that of Alabama yet they strive for global attention and relevance.
Those Israel air strikes in the nuclear sites and Iranian chief military strategy centers in that dangerous and hostile anti-Israel and likewise anti-Jewish Islamic regime of Iran is a very appropriate action.
For the government authorities and officials of the State of Israel have a duty and responsibility to ensure the safety security and lives of the people who are citizens of that nation by launching strikes on the missile weapon centers and military strategy command centers in Iran as well as other military and weapons places of the aggressive and hostile Islamic terror/murder regime of Iran. It’s a matter of basic self-defense .
As the fifth President of the United States, James Monroe, wisely, had declared “The right to self-defense never ceases. It is among the most sacred, and alike necessary to nations and to individuals.”
I fid it amusing that nations like Oz, EnnZed, Japan, are railing agains Israel for their much0needed public service of taking out the trash (yes, fo their primary benefit but also avsolutely for the benefit ofthese nations amuse me?
Simple: because EVERY ONE of them have cimpletely disarmd their own populace. NO INE can have their own defensive weapons “against the day” it might be needed. WHY? They all are possessed of an inordinate fear that their people WILL misuse their guns and “harm” someone.
Well, replace these nations with ISrael, and know that Israel do indeed want this adversary, Iran, dispossessed of their weapons that can, and all but surely would, be used to kill millions. Iran have a track record that renders them absolutely untrustworthy when it comes to such destructive force in their possession.
So Israel are simply disarming one of their neighbours, the one with the near sterling record of misuse of military and destructive power.
The memories are somewhat foggy at this point but I do have a strong recollection of our nation, oh I think back somewhere around the Bush years, were on a tear to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear capability. I also clearly remember that we Yanks were nearly unanimous in support of this action.
what has changed now, to make it a horrid thing for some OTHER nation to take up that same cry? Whattt!!! Da noive a dem israylees to demand this same nation be denied their newks? Ad for precisely he same rasons?
Da noive indeed! Seems like everyone liked the idea until it involved preserving a Jewish homeland. I just hope they will continue to take out everyone’s garbage. Also hope there is a plan for radiation leakage if they have to bunker bust the facilities.
I’m wondering what would happen if Israel used crop spraying planes to deluge Fordow with water. Not sure if they can, because of the risk that the excess water would carry radioactivity, though.
The vast Majority of the Worlds Political Leaders, if you can actually call them that. Are Nothing, but Gutless and Spineless Cowards. Always and Forever Calculating what’s in their Own Personal Best Interest both Politically and Financially, as if they are above the Fray. Since they have the Power and the Airplanes and the Money, if the “Stuff” were to hit the Fan, they would be off in a Flash living the Lifestyles of the Pompous, Rich, and Famous somewhere else and the People in their Varied Countries Be Damned.
I do not Think the People who lived through WWII have ever forgotten how the World basically Turned its backs on the Israeli Peoples in their Gravest and Worst Time of Need with the useless League of Nations at the Helm. The Politicians then, like Now, are the Same Gutless and Spineless Cowards, they just have Different Names, but they remain as Slimy as those in WWII. You can Bet the Israeli’s understand the Gravity of THEIR Country’s situation and the Peril they Live under, Daily, especially after how they Saw the World under the Worthless U.N. react after the Atrocities of OCT. 7th. You remember those don’t you World Leaders? The ones Where Iran Helped to Attack Innocent Men, Women, Children and Babies, using Hamas, Murdering them and you Clowns all stood around telling Israel that “IT” must Show Restraint 24/7/365 like it was no big Deal.
I stand with Israel even if you Cowards do Not. I was Raised Knowing Right From Wrong and I see the Israeli’s doing the Hard Work you Gutless Cowards will Not Do and the Rudderless United Nations won’t even contemplate. You Should be Ashamed of Yourselves, but you don’t have the Morality or Ethics to do so, because of your Calculating, Gutless, Cowardice. You know what is really Pathetic though? After the Israeli’s do the Fighting, Dying, and Hard Work you Won’t do, Most of you will tell the World how you were Behind them the whole time.
