Of course he does.
Some will put that down to leftist hypocrisy, but Zohran Mamdani, like a lot of Islamists, just cosplays as a Communist. He puts out radical ideas to win over leftists, but many of those same ideas if actually implemented would cause plenty of damage to the Muslim cohort that funded him and turned out the bloc vote for him. Is he serious about them? No. He is serious about Jihad and Islam.
This stuff is just theater, sucker bait for leftists who think they found an even more uncompromising version of Obama.
“My platform is that every single person should have housing, and I think faced with these two options, the system has hundreds of thousands of people unhoused, right? For what?” Mamdani questioned. “If there was any system that could guarantee each person housing, whether you call it the abolition of private property or you call it, you know, just a statewide housing guarantee, it is preferable to what is going on right now.”
According to his ethics disclosure however, Mamdani appears to own 4 acres of land in Uganda. And has owned them since 2012.
Don’t worry. Given a chance, Mamdani will seize some land. But it won’t be because he’s a Communist. It’ll be because the land will fall under his control and those of his pals.
This isn’t some abstract academic ideological war. It’s a tribal war. And we’re the targets.
Is religion more dangerous than socialism?
“I believe that the medievals understood much better than the moderns on what basis to build a totalitarian society that would last and not collapse in less than a century. They did it and the people in the rising religious movement today know that full well. They’re the ones who have millions, upon millions, upon millions, of followers and a real insight into the fact that economics is not the crucial factor, but philosophy and culture are…. Religion has been the root of [totalitarianism] from the beginning, it has ruled in disguised forms, and still is, and now the disguise had to be stripped off… What socialism is doing is really helping religion, the bigger the statism, the more people grow accustomed to government rule over everything, the more people are ready for religionists to take over the lead from the more secular side… The socialists are building the basis for totalitarianism but only the religionists are going to cash in on it and take over.” – Leonard Peikoff
What was the status of organized religion in the totalitarian Soviet Union before it imploded? Which religionists subsequently took over?
How about Cuba?
Pre-Soviet Russia was steeped in Christianity, it was a Christian theocracy with a Christian monarch as its absolute ruler. Pre-Soviet Russia was culturally ripe for Marxism or even an Islamic theocracy if that had been the case.
Today, little has changed culturally in Russia, the Russian people overwhelmingly are still submissive to the Almighty State and Almighty Supreme Leader. Though Islam hasn’t taken it over, Russia is ripe for Islam. Putin and the oligarchs would and will convert to Islam as a matter of practical necessity to stay in power.
What about Cuba? Latin America has been steeped in Christianity to an extent unknown in the USA. There has never been an American Revolution in Latin America only simply a rebellion against the Spanish theocracy of the 19th century. Latin American countries threw off the yoke of Spain and established their own Spanish style dictatorships.
It isn’t enough to rebel against a negative to establish a positive. The people of a country must have an explicit and philosophical understanding of what freedom is, why it is necessary, and why it is desirable. The generation of the Founders had this understanding, the generation of the American Puritans did not.
Having thrown off the yoke of the brutal theocracy of the Church of England, the American Puritans did not then come to America to establish religious freedom and freedom of individual conscience, but to establish their own brutal theocracy.
“This was the intellectual context of the American Revolution. Point for point, the Founding Fathers’ argument for liberty was the exact counterpart of the Puritans’ argument for dictatorship…
Through all the centuries of the Dark and Middle Ages, there was plenty of belief in a Creator; but it was only when religion began to fade that the idea of God as the author of individual rights emerged as an historical, nation-shaping force.” – Leonard Peikoff, “Religion versus America”
A typical two faced bottom feeder and sewer dweller and the Fools who voted for him. This Summer is going to be a lonesome one for the Big Apple
Definitely a Tribal War. Thanks for using the correct terminology.
Loyalty to the tribe is one of the main factors that holds small wars together.. Perhaps the main factor. Goes back to Ancient Rome and earlier.
Mamdani is the perfect fusion of Marxist/Islamist alliance. But the Marxists will be in for a rude awakening when their Islamist allies turn and show no mercy to them as well.
