There have been a lot of devastating polls for the media and (I blogged about one earlier today), but this may be the most devastating one yet.
The Gallup survey shows that only 31% of Americans trust the media, 33% say they don’t trust it very much and 36% say they don’t trust it at all.
All well and good. But not really news.
What’s interesting is when you look at the breakdowns. Obviously the vast majority of Republicans don’t trust the media, ditto for Independents, but the news for Democrats, the media’s only base, isn’t great.
…the vast majority of Republicans (88%) and independents (74%) and nearly half of Democrats (46%) having low trust in the media. Conversely, 12% of Republicans, 27% of independents and 54% of Democrats trust it “a great deal” or “a fair amount.”
But wait. The numbers get much worse when you break them down by age.
The media is underwater among Democrats under 50.
75% of Democrats over 65 trust the media, 63% of Democrats over 50 do, but only 45% of Democrats from 30-49 and only 31% of Democrats 18-29.
That’s the same number as the general public average.
The media’s only remaining base are elderly and middle-aged Democrats. And I suspect those numbers would get worse if we broke them down by race and sex.
The media continues puffing itself up but it’s collapsing because nobody believes in it anymore. It has no future.

Yes and rigged polls of serial lying Dirtbagocrats STILL come up with negative views of the Gutter Press. We all know the actual figures are much worse. The Gutter Media appeal to gutter people, obviously.
Good news!
Sadly, many young people are incredibly ignorant.
I don’t think the situation is as bad as my peers – all old-timers – think it is. I know many young people who are quite sensible, and many are worried about their future.
What’s difficult is that we have lost much of the thread. They don’t know anything about our history, culture, the Rule of Law, or how institutions operate. They may know the media lies, but they don’t know how to figure out the truth of a matter even when they have facts available.
In fact. They’re not quite sure what a fact is.
That’s a problem. I hope we will have time to recover.
With the lower than Turd World level of education and higher than Soviet level of indoctrination in America, it’s no wonder most of our youth are ignorant and “woke.”
But there’s no excuse for elderly people being stupid enough to trust the Minitrue Media. Most of them graduate high school being literate, able to do math and with basic knowledge of history and the sciences. And they sure weren’t subjected to “woke” delusions. “There’s no fool like an old fool” is an ancient proverb for very good reason.
Most of the News we get is the typical leftists Propaganda we have been getting for years since they still mostly support the Demo-Rats and Libera[ leftists policies this is no longer the days of Huntley and Brinkley
There are plenty of people even older than I am who comment on this website but they’re all normal. Most Americans would be surprised how many old fools still read newspapers, watch their local evening news and trust the Minitrue Media. A lot of young people do too, a whole lot, and the underlying theme I’ve noticed is stupidity. Me personally, I’d rather take a power drill to my head than expose myself to any of those decaying Dirtbagocrat foundations.
Actually, almost no young people read newspapers but many of them watch local “news” on TV and the majority of those hammer headed mutants trust the Minitrue Media.
Wait a minute! I still buy the local news rag (i.e., newspaper) on the weekends. For the comics. the crosswords and the weekend entertainment guide and of course, it’s great for lining the bottom of the trash can!
And TV news? Pffftt! TV news is NOT NEW!! It’s someone’s opinion of what’s news. Anyone with an IQ above room temperature would deem that insulting, belittling and disrespectful.
But……..local news stations lead with lurid stories about whoever was just murdered or assaulted in the area and wrap up with boring human interest stories about cats rescued from trees or some retard who makes trinkets out of garbage or something equally insipid. Who doesn’t watch stuff like that? Except for people with an ounce of culture and an IQ above room temperature? And we all need to be told to hate Trump, peace and prosperity.

Once we dumped cable I stopped watching Fox. I never watched anything else. Now that Gorka and Bongino are in the admin there are fewer and fewer radio shows to listen to. And with Trump in the fight is over for now. They replaced Bongino with Hugh Hewitt. Snore……………. Forget Hannity, Double snore
I still go to a couple of good websites, like Gateway Pundit and American Thinker. What more does one need. Trump’s got this.
Watch Real America’s Voice and Newsmax. President Trump does.
The reporter who asked Zelenskyy yesterday “do you own a suit?” Is Real America’s Voice host and reporter, Brian Glenn. He asked Little Man: “Why don’t you wear a suit? Why don’t you wear a suit while visiting the highest level of (any) government?” Zelenskyy said he didn’t have a problem and replied that “A lot of Americans do have a problem. Do you own a suit?” Trump and Vance laughed. I’m sure you saw that and laughed, too. I know I did.
James Rosen represents Newsmax at the White House Press Conferences. You probably remember him as the White House correspondent for Fox news who got spied on by the Brokeback Hasbeen Obama administration and fired by Rupert Murdoch’s old secretary, who is the fake CEO of Fox News and the entire reason it sucks now.
Rosen is the one who suggested to former White House Press Secretary, Raggedy Ann Jean Pierre, that Alzheimer Joe wasn’t present because he “might be sleeping through the day.” NBC’s senior White House troll/correspondent and unwatched nobody, Kelly O’Donnell, jumped to Sleepy Joe’s defense and said: “We would invite the president to come here and tell us directly.” “If he’s awake,” Rosen then said.
Real America’s Voice and Newsmax are real news networks with conservative and honest hosts, reporters and guests, and both networks are free. (Newsmax + streams for $10. bucks a month but Newsmax 2 is free.) As far as I know, they’re the only real news networks on TV and you don’t need cable to watch them. Whenever I’m home I usually have one or the other of them running in the background. They’re excellent – much better than Fox News ever was. Fox still has some good hosts but they’re restrained by that fake CEO secretary and the rest of its programming is garbage. All of the RAV and Newsmax hosts and shows are good. Ed Henry, Eric Bolling and others from Fox are at those networks now along with Steve Bannon and guys who write here at FPM, like Frank Gaffney. Greenfield, Spencer and Horowitz make guest appearances on those networks, too.

My homosexual is so desperate to NOT believe conservatives, that he has a true mental block to the truth, and is 100% sold in to the lies of the left wing media hacks. It’s like he has a membrane over his eyes when it comes to media…
