It was never about Israel. Less so about a so-called ‘Palestinian’ state. It’s about finding pretexts for exporting the Islamic Jihad everywhere. Call it the Islamic equivalent of the Marxist “it’s not about the issue, it’s about the revolution.”
Here’s the perfect marriage of the red-green alliance, New York City’s Muslim socialist mayoral candidate saying it out loud.
Zohran Mamdani, a leading candidate in next Tuesday’s New York City mayoral primary, refused to condemn calls to “globalize the intifada” during a new podcast interview with The Bulwark released on Tuesday, arguing the phrase is an expression of Palestinian rights.
Of course if you understand that “Palestinian rights” means terrorism, and not just in Israel, but against anyone, it becomes simple enough.
‘Globalize the Intifada” exports terror, intimidation and harassment internationally. Because it’s not really about Israel. It’s about Islam. The targets are the pretexts. The goal is Islamic supremacism. The pretext is whatever sells with the ‘red’ part of the alliance. If talking about Gaza works, they’ll do that. And then Kashmir. And Yemen. And anything else.
But it’s the ‘globalize’ part that’s important because the struggle of Islam against the world is inherently global. We forget that at our peril.

I don’t see any evidence of a global jihad. Sure, there has been 14 centuries of invasion, massacre, forced conversion, mass rape and enslavement. There have been car bombings, airliner bombings and hijackings, school massacres, trucks driven into crowds, rape gangs, random stabbings, “workplace violence”. kidnappings and proclamations of global jihad. But other than that, I have no reason to believe there is anything going on as regards global jihad.
I tend to see these conflicts as religious fights between what R. R. Reno calls the strong and the weak gods. Strong gods brook no rivals. Liberal secular humanism is our current god and very weak, built upon toleration of many lesser -isms manufactured by human dissatisfaction with reality.
Islam is a strong god enabled here by the weak, effeminate, tolerant secular humanism that has replaced Anglo Protestant Christianity.
The ugly truth is we must act now to avoid an uglier future reality. Islam is incompatible with all western civilization. All Muslims, radical or pre-radical, must be removed, their citizenship revoked and reunification with their brethren in their homelands facilitated at taxpayer expense. Refusal will be met with extreme prejudice, but likely less taxpayer expense – so there will be motivation on both sides of the equation – win / win.
Ladies and gentlemen. The next mayor of New York.
