Over 200 people are dead and all FEMA and the media can do is complain about “misinformation” which really means silencing critics of its abysmal performance.
Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Administrator Deanne Criswell said misinformation regarding Hurricane Helene and the federal government’s response is “not helpful to people.”
In an interview with ABC’s “This Week,” host George Stephanopoulos asked Criswell about the misinformation surrounding the federal response to Hurricane Helene, including former President Trump’s misleading claims about the FEMA relief aid available to residents.
“It’s frankly ridiculous and just plain false,” she said. “This kind of rhetoric is not helpful to people. You know, it’s really a shame that we’re putting politics ahead of helping people, and that’s what we’re here to do.”

The pathetic Mayorkas had to admit FEMA is out of money. There is another hurricane forming as of 10/7/2024! This criminally negligent, and outrageous insane theft of 1 billion dollars must be punished by the voters and the law!!! The entire Democrat Party has evolved into a criminal enterprise. Well, FEMA has achieved its #1 goal – it has instilled equity as a foundation of emergency management. Those effected by Helene were mostly “privileged” whites so they deserve no resources. It’s sort of like the way my blue state tranched out Covid vaccine back in the day. I lived in the most populated county in the state. Had no mass vaccination sites. But they did manage to put the only two such sites open in the state in the two counties with the highest minority populations. Ain’t “equity” grand?
Sadly it does not appear FEMA under Deanne Criswell is performing very well. In fact if the reports are true, FEMA is with holding and confiscating private aid. This does not smack well for FEMA or the Biden administration.
