A little factoid from an American Prospect piece on how Dems need to turn around their polling on crime.
“A quarter of Democrats in October said Republicans would do a better job. That included a quarter of blacks and a stunning half of Hispanics and Asian Americans.”
That’s what losing the argument looks like.
Crime is catastrophically up and people are noticing. Democrats and the media telling everyone that they’re crazy racists for noticing what’s right in front of them hasn’t exactly paid off.
Americans are more likely now than at any time over the past five decades to say there is more crime in their local area than there was a year ago. The 56% of U.S. adults who report an increase in crime where they live marks a five-percentage-point uptick since last year and is the highest by two points in Gallup’s trend dating back to 1972.
Public perceptions of an increase in crime at the national level have also edged up since last year, as 78% say there is now more crime in the U.S. This is tied with the 2020 measure. The record high was 89% in 1992, when crime rates soared in the U.S.
Democrats keep telling people that the high crime is in their imagination. Is it any wonder that 1 in 4 of their party would trust Republicans over Democrats on crime?
With the midterm elections on the horizon, more than 80% of black Democratic voters say violent crime is a “very important voting issue,” according to Pew Research data.
Overall, Pew Research says about 61% of registered U.S. voters believe violent crime is “very important” to their decisions at the ballot box.
Specifically, 82% of black Americans who are registered Democrats say they believe violent crime is a very important midterm election issue. However, only a third of white registered Democratic voters say the same.
The split on crime among Democrats actually inverts the racial paradigm. White Dems, who tend to live in more upscale areas, aren’t seeing or claim not to. Black Dems are very aware of the crisis.
White Dems living in upscale areas don’t see so much of the problems in the bad areas. But the bad areas are growing, like cancer tumors. Squeezing whites into other areas (white flight).
Ethnic diversity creates more crime which decreases social trust. Each group distrusts the other and has widely differing opinions about policing and after-arrest disposition / justice. Just look at the stats in this article!
I used to believe multi-ethnic communities could live in harmony, but this is only possible if all ethnicities share the same culture – and that is RARE.
I love my western, American, white Christian culture. It includes people who are from other cultures and ethnicities, but these voluntarily embrace our culture and live with us as one of us. These people have left their own culture and have become one of us, and this is why they are few in number. They will intermarry with us and their descendants will eventually become white – but it is not a forced genocide as is happening now (according to the U.N. definition).
Most people love their culture and their people and prefer it above all others. This is only evil when white westerners love their culture and people.. It is both good and natural. Only one group of people are denied this simple, natural and good thing and I belong to that group. I remember what it was like to live peacefully among my own people in my own culture. I want that for my children and grandchildren who have been ruthlessly educated in college to hate themselves and their people.
If multi-ethnic communities could live together peacefully, we’d see evidence of that in history. Exactly NO evidence of that exists. Why it suddenly would be expected only demonstrates ignorance of history.
I agree with your point, but ascribe forced assimilation to malign intent rather than ignorance. We cannot afford to think our enemy is just being stupid. Too many “stupid” things are coming together, all at once, in every sphere to ascribe our destruction to an ignorant mistake.

It can be a lovely mix. A mainly friendly mix. I guess you’ve never been to or lived in. New York City.
In the days before the current communism, we had neighborhoods of our own but were neighborly with others. It was tolerant before that was woke.
No, we and our descendants didn’t become “white.” Why would we?
I notice your qualifications: “a certain harmony” and “lovely mix.” Different cultures living next to one another always create some friction eliminated by assimilation — culturally, ethnically, or both. You will have the “lovely mix” and “a certain harmony” only so long as the rule of law holds sway. The hostile hordes flooding the zone now do not have the slightest idea or inclination in that direction.
Your “lovely mix” is UNMIXED populations retaining their ethnic and cultural identity while living next to other populations in the enclaves of NYC. It is not a mix. It is a homogenous enclave.
You had “neighborhoods of your own.” Whites are not permitted neighborhoods of their own. They must accept “diversity.” “Diversity means replacing or eliminating white people. It applies only to whites, and never to racially monolithic non-white groups, enclaves, neighborhoods, or countries.

If you live here, your progeny will eventually become a part of this nation ethnically, culturally, or both. Your best chance of maintaining your culture and ethnicity here is the continuance of policies that respect your right to do so. Those policies are disappearing with the white people, who are being replaced by ethnicities with stronger tribal sentiments and markedly less concern for the rights of those outside their tribes.
